Yup Cava my bumps well off centre, think it just depends where miniboozle lies

gingerbreadmam · 13/05/2015 09:01

thanks sunbathing. i just realised when i laid in bed to watch tv last night that its sitting that is causing it.

the baby clearly does not like me being sat at work all day! going to make a conscious effort to get up and walk around lots today see if helps.

Littlelady33 · 13/05/2015 10:22

Cava my baby has shifted over to my left side and I'm definitely a bit lopsided, especially when he starts his Alien-style kicking and elbowing which is clearly visible through my work dresses.

Littlelady33 · 13/05/2015 10:23

.... Somesort that sounds really worrying hugs and hope you get results soon

Metalhead · 13/05/2015 15:05

Scanxiety is setting in again, especially as I will have to go on my own tomorrow (DH has to take DD to school). I should be 9+6 and symptoms are still strong, but can't help worrying that it'll be bad news again... at least the scan's at 8.15am so I won't have to wait all day for it.

Rebeccaelizabethxo · 13/05/2015 16:18

Good luck tomorrow metal I had to go on my own to my 9 week scan too, fingers crossed for you !! My scanxiety is back too, got my 12 week scan on Monday, I think about it every so often and just feel full of dread, my symptoms are on and off, some days I'm as sick as a dog and other days I'm fine. Can't just be simple can it ?!? X

kep1979 · 13/05/2015 16:35

It's a boy! Grin Grin Or as my husband put it, 'It's a banana! Go Team Penis!'

I'm thrilled. Not only have I averted a potential ASD meltdown from DS (he was adamant it was NOT a girl and wouldn't have coped well if it was!), my feeling that I've had for years, about me having two boys, has been proved right.

All looks good and no sign of any problems. I'm hoping the blood results will be in on Friday and I can stop worrying.

Fantastic news somesort Really delighted for you (and your ds!)

Hopefully we're going to have more good scan news to come metal and Rebecca

Exciting Tori - hope it goes nice and smoothly Smile

cavamonster · 13/05/2015 19:24

Glad my lopsided bump is fairly normal and also means i'm not imagining it!

Great news somesort and tori that would be a wonderful birthday present. My mum and gran share a birthday and it is always really special for them.

SomeSortOfDeliciousBiscuit · 13/05/2015 21:02

Oooooo Tori, are you excited? Daft question, I know!

Metal Good luck for your scan!

Thanks all. We've chosen the name today as well, but that will be kept to ourselves until baby is here.

My bump is frequently lopsided, usually to the right. Sometimes at a scary angle. It freaks DH out which I think is hilarious.

Good luck metal and rebecca - really hope the scanxiety isn't too bad and that you can distract yourselves till it happens.

Great news somesort!

Tori - it's weird isn't it how something that's been happening for 8 months can suddenly feel much more real and even surprising! I'm not quite getting my head around it yet and I think being given an induction date would defo cause me to be a bit Shock Grin Shock !

Littlelady33 · 14/05/2015 09:29

Tori that's so exciting! And good luck with a and metal and Rebecca

Littlelady33 · 14/05/2015 09:30

*with scans sorry - bloody iPhone

Metalhead · 14/05/2015 12:45

Great news on the scan somesort, hope your other results tomorrow come back clear too.

Good luck for tomorrow msald!!

I had my scan this morning and saw mini-Metal moving around, waving it's little arms and legs! Smile Still measuring exactly right at 9+6, heartbeat, brain and spine all present and seen, and the sonographer said I'd have to be extremely unlucky for something to wrong now. I actually cried with relief afterwards!

happygojo · 14/05/2015 13:12

YAY metal, it is amazing isn't it

Amyyy27 · 14/05/2015 13:14

Aww lovely to hear that metal :)

cloudjumper · 14/05/2015 13:14

Great scan news! Gives me hope for mine on Sunday...

Time is just crawling right now. I feel as if I have been pg forever, but I'm not even 8 weeks Confused The thought of another 7 months of this honestly fills me with dread. When do you start to relax, if ever? Do the milestones help at all? My first mcs never made it past 8 weeks, so that's the first one coming up, but my last one was a 2nd trimester loss.
Makes me realise how incredibly naïve I was when pg with DS - back then, the only hurdle for me was the 12-week-scan and the Down's screening. Once I had that in the back, I honestly thought that nothing could be going wrong! Makes me quite sad that I will never be able to just enjoy being pg ever again... Ah well.
