Will be thinking of you tomorrow treacle. What a milestone at the same time. Hope it goes well.

Another Moby wrap and reusuable wipe fan here. Love my manduca carrier as well but less good for tinies. Great from about 12 weeks. Still use it on my lump of a 26 month old.

I feel rubbish. So bloody anxious.

Treaclepie19 · 10/05/2015 22:56

Thanks both. Full on scanxiety!

Sending hugs mrs, it's awful being so anxious :(

Good luck today treacle Smile

Did any one else's sickness kick it up a notch around 11 weeks ? Yesterday I couldn't keep anything but water down, and this morning from the moment I opened my eyes the sickness started all over again. Never felt so rough Sad

broodylicious · 11/05/2015 07:41

Good luck treacle! I'm sure little pie will be just perfectSmile

rebecca, sadly yes mine did. And I only stopped vomming at about 24 weeks! Now I just get nausea. Hope yours eases up a little soon but for now, see it as a good thing xx

happygojo · 11/05/2015 09:36

Good Luck Treacle! xxx

CommanderShepard · 11/05/2015 09:55

Good luck treacle - I'm sure all will be fine :)

High chairs - the two ones which are really worth it are the IKEA Antilop, which is about £15 and most cafes have them, and the Stoke Tripp Trapp, which is about 10 times the price but can be used for much longer and I quite often sit on DD's comfortably. We've got a Tripp Trapp at home and Antilops at grandparents' houses (advantage of the Antilop is it's easy to store as the legs come off).

Both are great if you're interested in baby-led weaning as they don't come with trays as standard, so can be pulled right up to the table. And they're very easy to clean, unlike the padded ones which can get all sorts of ming concreted to them...

Good luck today treacle :)

Rebecca I'm suffering from extreme MS but definitely remember week 11 as being the absolute worst week! I hope it goes quickly for you! I can't drink water without vomming but lucozade has been a life saver for me and helped me to eat bits and pieces especially fruit.

We have booked a private gender scan at 18 weeks (4 weeks on Saturday) and we get to see the baby in 4D (I'm more excited for this part!) Has anyone here had one? I'm dying to know what will happen and how much detail they go into about baby.

Littlelady33 · 11/05/2015 10:12

Yep I remember describing week 11-12 as 'peak sick'. But turns out had nothing on week 14...Good luck today Treacle!

Rebeccaelizabethxo · 11/05/2015 10:32

Oh good lord I cannot even imagine this being any worse !! Fingers crossed I'm at my peak sickness haha!

Amyyy27 · 11/05/2015 10:35

Oh no Little!! I'm only just starting to get better now at 13+5 I hope 14 weeks is kind to me!

Littlelady33 · 11/05/2015 10:46

Amy and Rebecca I feel terrible -!; didn't mean to worry you. It does pass for most earlier but my mother warned me that I should expect sickness to 20wks and she wasn't wrong. Then my appetite finally came back and it was just amazing. Although I'm such a worrier that I felt like sickness meant things were ok and slightly revelled in my nausea!

Thepurplegiraffe · 11/05/2015 11:10

Unfortunately I am another one to have sickness and nausea all the way through pregnancy, though it isn't as bad all the way through, think mine is ramping up again at 31 weeks, same as last time. I literally cannot wait to eat what I want again in about 9 weeks time. I think I might be more excited about that than meeting the babySmile

Amyyy27 · 11/05/2015 11:24

Aww don't worry little the doctors have already told me not to expect it to go until at least 16 weeks :( My friend has had exactly the same as me and at 24 weeks she is still poorly so not hopeful of getting better any time soon! I just want to enjoy food again!

bythesea82 · 11/05/2015 12:28

Hello all,
Can I join you? I recognise a few 'faces' from the recurrent miscarriage thread - [waves]
I have been lurking for a while but today is the day I am brave enough to join!

My stats
bythesea82, 32, no DC, 3MC around 10-11 weeks, EDD 8th October.

So currently 18+4 and just starting to feel a little fear for the 20 week scan, not until 1st June so I have a while to wait....

treacle hope scan ok today.

rebecca yes to 11 week nausea, I was getting smug that I had got away with it but 11-14 weeks were the worst for me. Hope it passes quickly for you.

Treaclepie19 · 11/05/2015 13:16

Thank you all - everything is ok :)
Baby in the normal range for everything and although he was in a difficult position they managed to get all the measurements.
Phew!

Amyyy27 · 11/05/2015 13:26

oops!

Glad your scan went well treacle :)

Gr33dyeggs · 11/05/2015 13:34

Great news treacle. Chances of you relaxing any......Wink

Welcome bythesea.

gingerbreadmam · 11/05/2015 13:38

hey, hope everyone is well. Thought I would pop back into the thread. I started getting anxiety reading bad news so stepped out of all things referencing mc for a while im 16 / 17 weeks now and feeling a bit less anxious so thought I would brave it.

Have my 20 week scan 3 weeks on Wednesday :)

starting to think about what I need to buy and getting a little list together in between trying to find somewhere to live and as the rental market is so dire now looking into buying, scary stuff!

longestlurkerever · 11/05/2015 13:44

Welcome bythesea and yeay for a good scan treacle. My final growth scan was good too. Am booked in for an induction on 4 June but that's 5 days after my due date so fx she arrives of her own accord.

happygojo · 11/05/2015 14:14

Now Treacle be prepared for time to FLY! I feel like I have only blinked since 20 weeks and now I am 27 weeks.

Did they say where your placenta was?

Glad everything is ok

Hello Ginger! buying IS scary, but totally worth it once the first lot of expenses is over and done with. Me and my OH bought on a 5% deposit scheme, so although we are paying a high rate of interest, we now pay less per month than we did on rent and we are paying off the mortgage so it feels less futile and it was soooo nice to paint walls and put up pictures Smile Good luck!

gingerbreadmam · 11/05/2015 14:53

thanks happy. we only just moved in together in september (been together over three years) and for one reason or another it just never crossed our minds to buy and i didnt expect to be able to get a mortgage due to other credit (loan and credit card) so never tried saving for a deposit or anything.

we seem to be in a position now though where if we bought a starter home (old house) with the government help to buy scheme we could borrow the deposit and pay the mortgage and it work out equal to our cheaper than rent so were playing with what to do for the best.

we cant find anywhere to rent within our budget thats suitable and are quickly running out of time so im panicking, stressed and scared.

so excited to get somewhere bigger though. currently in a one bed ground floor flat with a nightmare neighbour above us. he came home at 12 last night with friends who finally left after 4.30am. all partying in the room above our bedroom. also has a big dog that runs around on the laminate and barks into the early hours Sad

gingerbreadmam · 11/05/2015 14:55

this happens around once a week i must add and is usually during the week. feel in an awful position because i guess in a way we chose a ground floor flat so feel like have to suck it up. other than that he is no bother at all and seems quite nice.

pizzakat · 11/05/2015 15:09

Totally feel your pain Gingerbreadmam we hurriedly moved into a 2 bed downstairs flat when I fell pregnant before my last mc and have regretted it ever since!

We live beneath a couple with a 3 year old who are also rather fond of late night parties? Even when they're just walking stamping around our light fittings shake Hmm but decided to stay put as its a lovely flat and we will soon be wreaking our revenge when we have a screaming newborn awake at all hours Grin

Finally braving my pre-booking appointment at 10+4 tonight! I told OH not to bother getting the time off work as its just a presentation we sat through in October, but kind of regretting not having the back up support now :(
