Phryn I mentioned it to OH after your suggestion he's went in and spoken to his manager today who says it's absolutely fine as he should only be about 30 mins late for the start of his shift anyway so thank you so much!!!

sunbathing what dreadful timing! Hopefully somewhere even more amazing is meant for you further down the line xx

Littlelady33 · 23/05/2015 14:25

Sunbathing so sorry to hear about the house, it happened to us a couple of years ago and it really is a bugger. We ended up being glad we'd stayed and I hope that when the stress of this passes you'll find something even better x

Sorry to hear that sunbathing :(
I hope you are able to find something quickly.

I've just had a right game :(
I've been prescribed fybogel by my doctor. So was my mom, she doesn't need I anymore so gave me the rest of her box.
I put them in the cupboard and figured I'd check them before I had them but they were pretty much identical.

Just asked dh to get me a fybogel and he didn't realise there was any difference so bought one of the ones out of my mom's box.
I drank most of it before realising it was different.
Turns out there's an extra ingredient.

Rang 111 and they said it can be prescribed in pregnancy with caution so should be ok but to watch for symptoms.

Last thing I needed is this worry :(
I suffer so badly with anxiety that my breathing is suffering so can't be sure whether I'm having side effects or not.
DH googled and it seems many people take the other one anyway but I've got myself in such a state.

Anyone had snotty discharge?!? Shock
TMI sorry but have had this all day and I'm kind of worried but also know it could be fine. Still a week until my 12 week scan and I'm still not confident that everything is going as it should be. Dreading it and half expecting to be told it's another MMC. The 6 weeks since my reassurance scan feels like it has been months and months.

cloudjumper · 24/05/2015 10:10

Cherry - I had all types of discharges in my pregnancies, so I reckon it should be fine. The only thing to watch out for is if it smells bad, that could be an infection.

Treacle - I'm sure it's all fine! I reckon a lot of things are fine to take when pg, but they are not allowed to say so because there haven't been any studies to prove it.

I seem to fall from one extreme to another... After freaking out about no sickness the last 2 days, the nausea has today returned with a vengeance. But I am spotting quite a lot more today, and it's red blood Confused
I think I might have to get another scan soon, at this rate I won't be able to hold out until 12 weeks.
I wish I could just get a bit of rest, the constant worrying is really wearing me down Hmm

Treaclepie19 · 24/05/2015 11:29

Thanks cloud, i ended up having to go to the out of hous doctor yesterday with stomach pain anyway so luckily the doctor there was able to reassure me too.

If you think another scan will help even for a short while, it's worth it. There's no shame in putting your mind at ease x

mrsdiddlydoo · 24/05/2015 19:30

cloud hugs. Get yourself another scan. The stress of not knowing what's going on won't be doing you any good. Hope the spotting has eased. This whole pregnancy malarky is bloody hard work.

broodylicious · 24/05/2015 19:40

sunbathing, what an absolute arse about the house! You must be so cross. Was it a repossession you were buying by any chance? (You mentioned gazumping and I know if it's a repo, the bank will consider any offer up until completion, that's why I ask). Bloody buggers whatever the situation. Hope your buyers show some sympathy xx

cloud, sorry to hear you're bleeding. Has it eased off over the day? Hopefully it's just one of those annoying things - I know lots of ladies spot throughout their pregnancies and go on to have healthy babies. Can't help your peace of mind though. Hugs xx

treacle, are you feeling any better now? Hope so hun xx

I'll be 32 weeks tomorrowShock Don't know where the time has gone. One of the MN July ladies delivered her baby this week at 31 weeks and so it's put the frighteners on the rest of us! I don't think any of us thought of early deliveries! There's also a lady with twins who is being induced as I type (34weeks) and another two ladies who are in hospital for obs and may well end up with early babies too. Eeek. Getting real this stuff!!

Hope everyone else is enjoying the weekend and you have lovely things planned for tomorrow.

Thank you sunbathing :)

Thanks broody, I'm still in pain :( I think it's acid/indegestion but it's getting to be constant. Gaviscon doesn't seem to be helping but not sure what else to do for it.

Eek exciting sunbathing! Hope baby stays in a while longer so you have more time to prepare!

I think that's what im having... always worry its something else buts it's a burning and a sharp pain right in the center of my stomach. I've had it for two days now.

Will go and see my doctor on Tuesday if I can't ease it.

I was just thinking I haven't been having as much heartburn this time as I was with dd and I am 33 weeks and very uncomfortable. I am having a hot chocolate made with milk every night before bed, I wonder if that might be helping?

longestlurkerever · 25/05/2015 08:33

cloud sorry about the spotting. I know others have already said it but I hope you can get some reassurance that it didn't mean bad news last time. Definitely push for another scan though. I had them every 1-2 weeks between st Mary's and my normal hospital, all on the nhs.

Am feeling rotten and very sorry for myself. Have had a cold for 10 days now. Just want to rest and look forward to the baby coming but dh is worse and has had a fever for a week so I am looking after dd solo. If it wasn't a bank holiday she would be at nursery today. Not even that impatient about the baby, though anxiety is ramping up again. Just want both of us to get well. Sorry to moan. Feel quite tearful.

broodylicious · 25/05/2015 08:34

Eeurgh indigestion and heartburn. Hate them with a passion. I've been on gaviscon dual action tablets and I have to say, they're brill for me. All gone within a few minutes!

Phryn · 25/05/2015 09:26

Ah the delights of Gaviscon - I know it well! According to DH I pull a great "Gaviscon face" and often make a noise like a disgruntled horse after taking some it. Seems to be working enough so far, but GP advised me in past to see them about getting omeprazole or rantadine on prescription if I needed something stronger.

Happy bank holiday!

How are you today cloud?

Sorry people are suffering with indigestion. I've had it about 10 times in my life and thought I was dying the first time!

I'm sure I felt a limb or a joint last night - I was really uncomfortable on my rt side and felt it and there was something solid there that had gone when I felt there later. I remember my ds being a real wrigglers and it looks like this could be the same.

I had the angelsounds on for a few mins and after I'd heard the heartbeat there was a whoosh and swishing sound I guess was it moving around. Oh and we are referring to baby as 'scooby' for now, and I don't want to find out the sex anymore.

thesmallbear · 25/05/2015 12:59

cloud - sorry to hear about the spotting. I'm sure everything's fine, but it's so worrying isn't it. If a scan will reassure you, I say go for it.

I hope everyone suffering with indigestion gets some relief soon!

Another one here starting to think about the hospital bag. Does anyone know where I can get a button down the front nightie? The ones I've seen are either really expensive or really hideous looking. I know it's not a fashion show, but if I'm going to be wearing the nightie in the first few pictures of me & baby, then I don't want to look like a complete granny! Also, I know they say a button-down nightie for easy access for breastfeeding, but if you bleed heavily after the birth wouldn't you be better off with pyjama bottoms?

My bump is measuring a bit big so I have an appointment with an obstetrician on Friday. Does anyone have any idea of what might be discussed at this appointment? I have no clue as to what might happen!

broodylicious · 25/05/2015 13:08

small, try primark for nighties. I have got two (in a size above my normal) and they were £3/£4 each. I won't be bothered if they get messed up at that cost. You can always get yoga pants and a top on or a maxi dress maybe for your first pics - people honestly won't expect you to be Kate Middleton-esque though!! Nighties are generally better after birth because you might have had an emergency section in which case you don't want the pjs near your scar or you may have been cut/torn and had an episiotomy, so will likely have a colostomy bag, in which case it's easier with that palaver going on. Personal choice of course thoughSmile
