Good luck tori xx

All good with my scan - 1 little bean with a good heartbeat, measuring bang on with 8 weeks SmileGrin

thesmallbear · 17/05/2015 10:53

Glad your scan went well cloudjumper. It's such a relief when you see the heartbeat Smile

I went to the Bay Show yesterday and got a 20% discount on the Snuzpod, so pleased with that. Managed to get quite a few freebie too, including about five different types of bottle!

longestlurkerever · 17/05/2015 10:58

What an exciting thread today! mslad and cloud fantastic news both of you! That has really cheered me up.

tori I feel we have shared this journey every step of the way and I am so excited for you. Good luck!

And on a more selfish note, when tori's baby is here I will be top of the stats list. Eek! I hope she hangs on at least a few days. I have the most dreadful cold and couldn't face labour or passing it on to a newborn.

Sorry iv not kept up with this thread. The sickness this time has been something else. Really hope everyone is doing well. Just a little update for those who know me from various other threads, we had a private reassurance scan this morning and baby is healthy happy and wriggly! Measuring a few days bigger which can only be a good thing making me 9+5.

Super news mslad !! Enjoy those cuddles x

longestlurkerever · 17/05/2015 16:01

Great news haribo!

How are you doing tori?

Metalhead · 17/05/2015 16:30

Great news haribo and cloud, so pleased for you!

tori hope you're doing ok, not long now until you meet your little one too!

After a relatively good day yesterday symptom-wise I think I overdid it a bit as we went for a long walk and then I did some light exercise at home. This morning I went to get my hair done and then for lunch in town, came back and was so wiped out I had to go to bed for 2 hours! Getting a bit fed up with feeling rubbish all the time, I'm seriously hoping things will improve soon... (10+2 today).

Gr33dyeggs · 17/05/2015 17:57

Congrats mslad lovely news!
Great scan news too haribo & cloud.

I've told most friends now about the pregnancy. I'm actually even more scared now I've outed myself! Is this normal???

SomeSortOfDeliciousBiscuit · 17/05/2015 18:15

Congratulations Mslad. Your post was lovely to read.

My blood results weren't back on Friday, so I've got to ring my GP again tomorrow and hope they've come in. I'm feeling quite pragmatic about the whole thing but I would just like to bloody know if I have immunity to slapped cheek or not so I can either put it behind me, or deal with knowing I'll have to wait a few more weeks to see if I caught it and passed it on. I hate being in limbo.

Littlelady33 · 17/05/2015 18:28

Gr33dy every time I told someone I felt like I was jinxing it! Ridiculous I know. Have finally at almost 31wks bought a few babygros and immediately feel like it's too soon, poor child will be coming home makes at this rate xxx

haribo and cloud glad to hear you've had some positive scans !!

Huge congrats mslad hope you are enjoying your cuddles Grin

So nice to see so much happiness on here today, hoping I'll get some happiness too tomorrow, feeling very nervous now though, cant shake the memory's from my first 12 week scan and how it all went so wrong Confused

Treaclepie19 · 17/05/2015 22:30

smallbear I went to the baby show too (today) Got absolutely tons of free stuff!

Oh no tori :( I hope all is ok.

Congrats mslad - lovely birth story - thanks for sharing.

Yay to positive scans for folks.

Mrs - glad you managed to find some distractions and that you're getting intimittant symptoms (or sunroofs as autocorrect tried to go for). Have you got long to wait for your next scan (I know the 12 week date can vary over a 2 week period!)

Thinking of you tori - praying ask goes well today!

Feeling huge and shattered today. Having a new bathroom put in is muchly needed but rather more stress than I wanted at this stage! We're on the home straight now though and should have a proper flushing toilet again by the end of the day (instead of a toilet without a cistern that you or rather DH flush by pouring a bucket of water down it!)

Phryn · 18/05/2015 08:59

All not ask!

pizzakat · 18/05/2015 09:24

Finally got my booking in appointment today even though I'm 11+4! We're going to visit OHs Dad on 30th who still doesn't know about pregnancy so really hoping to get my scan by then but not holding my breath, feel a bit bad that he is last to know :(

Been having some horrific baby related nightmares over the last week which I'm hoping will stop once I've seen little un again

Metalhead · 18/05/2015 09:25

Yay for a flushing toilet phryn! Grin

Good luck for your scan Rebecca, I hope it's good news.

And I hope things are progressing for you tori, and all is well with baby when he comes out.

happygojo · 18/05/2015 09:41

Good Morning! and Good luck Tori the most important thing is that they know about the parovirus and can act accordingly and quickly. Good luck Pizza at your booking in. Rebecca Good luck with your scan xxx

Anyway.... I am 28 weeks today Smile I am counting this as the 3rd trimester EEEK! Although I freaked myself out by trying to measure my own fundal height.... and getting 25.... I am hoping I was doing it wrong though. Baby is wiggling away so must be growing right?

Also picked up the pram this weekend. Super happy with our choice (Britax Affinity), making it feel very real.

Littlelady33 · 18/05/2015 10:43

Happy it's very exciting to finally be in the last trimester! I wouldn't worry about measuring fundal height that's very much something midwives advise against trying to do for yourself. If the baby is moving I think that's all you should watch for. Am now reaching all new levels of tiredness and still hoping to be at work for another 6 weeks...!
