My scan is monday!! Eeeeek il be about 12w3. Nervous and excited all at same time!

Oh god. I've had aches and growing type pains all day. It's freaking me out and I can't pull myself together. . Starting to think about trying to get into epu again.

I'm kinda envious of all you ladies with 12 week scans coming up... It's 2 weeks until I can get an 8 week paid scan! Time is going SO SLOWLY .

Sorry not been on much I feel so so ill :(. That nausea hungry taste in mouth yuk yuk yuk it won't go it's constantly there. I haven't been sick though but very close. It feels like a constant hangover lol.

Me and DHL not dtd for weeks. I know his struggling but I've lost my drive as well.

My 13 week scan is ages away end if may still not got a date yet. However get to see little bean again next Friday ill be 8+3 just so wanting to be near the 13 week mark now. It's dragging where I'm so bloated I look like I'm 24 weeks pregnant and people ask me and I'm like no just bloated lol. Can't wait to put the picture up on fb 5 weeks time for the world to know :)

That's really interesting you say about fb announcing. I popped a pic on my instagram but it's literally just people who I've already told.. but I feel like I want to just tell everyone after next scan but knowing how hard I found seeing those bombs pop up in my feed during my hardest days makes me feel like I shouldn't do that myself. I'm not sure how I'll go about it. Tbh it's about time I just got off fb all together tbh!

Would I be rediculous to book a private scan for next weekend? I would wouldn't I. That would be silly. Waste of money. . Wouldn't it ..

chasing im sooo tempted to book a private can but the first availavle is 7th may and im hoping nhs will be a bit quicker but wont know until at least wednesday!

As for facebook i dont know either. Theres a lot of people i would want to know and would find it much easier to announce on facebook... but i would hate to think anyone would be upset like i was when i saw facebook announcements which really puts me off. My MIL will 100% want to tell all of her friends on facebook though!

chasing I nearly did for this week. Very nearly. DH gave me a rational talking to though. It would only be a week and a half before my proper scan. Argh, the waiting is so hard though. Need to get into the habit of not wanting a scan every five minutes though as it will be 7 weeks until the next one after 13 weeks!

Anyone getting an actual bump yet? My swollen area is still really low down and not noticeable to anyone but me but definitely growing. Think it might be starting to push my tummy fat out a bit too.

I have quite a bulge but the stone in weight i have lost came from the same area so there is only me who thinks its really noticable!

There's lots of my friends who have recently announced there pregnant on fb so I will announce it as I have family who I don't really talk to so they know. Everyone is completly different I got so much support when I had my prems it got me through it.
As for private scan do u know what it don't sound stupid at all. We're on here for a reason and that's because our horrible past experiences I don't blame u one bit. I am really lucky I will be scanned every 2 weeks now because of past history so I'm in a lucky position really.

Scan is in just shy of 3 weeks. It seems like forever though I know it's not. Gah. What to do.

My best friend threw me a baby shower for dd (Oh I know... MN cardinal sin haha! I should say I didn't send any poems or request any gifts :-D) but whilst I am older now and wouldn't want one know my sister will ask if she can throw one I really really don't like the idea of celebrating before they are here at all. If it was another summer babe I'd have liked to have an open door policy and have everyone in the garden for a 'babies here safely ' party. . Get all the visits done in one.

But alas.. November is not suitable for garden parties. I guess we'll have to put up with everyone arriving in masses.

I had scan this am (via epau) and measuring 10+2 (which is what I should be minus one day)
Baby was kicking about :-) saw heartbeat so reassuring (still ridiculously on edge as other twin stopped growing 2 days after 6 week scan) the other twin has begun to shrink but is still there, they think it'll be 'absorbed' as other one takes over the space.

V emotional when in there as every other time had some sort of bad news, had a little breakdown but I have to say the women were lovely, they have also invited us back in 2 weeks for a reassurance scan so maybe worth askjngn your epau instead of paying privately? We got 2 pictures of the growing twin too and they pointed out the brain, arms legs etc heart and were very thorough I didn't feel rushed at all.

Hopefully this brings some positive thoughts for people :-)

Barbie that's lovely! I've literally just been looking at dds scans and I also had a 10w one with her so I can visualise what a lovely experience you've just had. Congratulations :-)

My epu wouldn't dream of offering a follow up.. grr

I've got my 12 week scan on the 12th May. Should be 12+4. So nervous that it may have stopped growing despite seeing a hb at 6+6. I've read different reports and cannot find a definite statistic to say the chance of mc after 7 weeks/hb etc.

Sex drive is very low for me too. Think it's more to do with stress in work etc.
