Thanks for that chasing, you've made me feel much less silly for worrying about it. However, I need a GP referral for the EPU which wouldn't happen til Monday now, so I'm going to keep a close eye on things til then (no doubt whilst not sleeping at 3am). First sign of any problems I'll be down a&e like a flash. Thanks so much for sharing your story with me, it sounds like an awful time for you and it can't be easy to recount it

If your epu is open on a Saturday then you can get a referral by calling the out of hours no. (NHS direct/your gp out of hours )

If not and you don't feel worried enough for a&e just get straight to your gp Monday for a referral (mine also works like that ) xxxx

When I was googling and in need of stories of ectopic and especially pregnancy after methotrexate there just weren't any. So if this shows up somewhere when someone needs it I'm happy to share x

I got a call from the fertility clinic today to tell me that now I'm past my miscarriage dates I'm now under the care of the midwives. I had my last miscarriage at 9weeks and I'm not there yet ,maybe they are encouraged by the heartbeat.

As much as they are lovely ladies I am so pleased though.

Another weekend in work for me I hope you ladies have a good weekend.

Am mega horny but everytime we try I just end up with cramps. We didn't do it at all during pregnancy with dd as I had several sickness and by the time it wore off I was a whale.

Should we just lay off?

Tbh this pregnancy I've been a nightmare- with all the stress I just barely thought about it. We've probably only done it 4 times in 10.5 weeks (usually we do it about 2/3 times a week) with dd we continued as usual
I have read this time though that after mc etc they sometimes recommend not doing the deed in the first 14 weeks but when I asked epau they said it's only if you've had recurrent miscarriages (3+) and that if you have no bleeding or cramping it's perfectly safe
That being said if you've had cramping it may be worth a call to fertility centre to quickly check or the midwife just to be safe then tou know if you need to lay off, either way after 14 weeks my understanding is you can just go for it ?? x

chasing we're down to about once a week. My sex drive has gone missing.

Chasing I'm too scared,we were always 2times atleast before trying then more,it's been a long 8 1/2 weeks.Think we may now wait till week 14. My husband can't even touch me at the minute, so frustrating.

My desire for sex went totally out the window when i started to get ill at 6 weeks and is only just returning. Unfortunately for OH it tends to be during the day when i feel better that im up to it when he is at work! Lucky for him its the weekend ha :)

I too have lost interest. Combination of nausea, very very bad headaches and feeling like the size of a house. I'm also nervous to do anything pre 12 weeks, even though I know there's probably no harm. Poor old DH. He understands though. I'm hoping our holiday in a few weeks will help me get my mojo back!

Not much here. I'm too scared the 'foreign bodies' might cause bv. I know it's irrational but we used condoms for so long I think my body may react to the sperm! MW suggested using condoms again. Tbh I'm either tired or nauseous. I'll make more of an effort now but it's hard with our ds who still doesn't sleep great.

I've just had porridge for the first time in months. Dairy products have knocked me sick. I still have hunger nausea and that awful taste but really feel I've turned a corner.

Unfortunately for dh I'm only up for it at 4 am .. I've usually been asleep since 7am and wide awake and no nausea yet!

Maybe we should stop. I'm surprised at myself. I couldn't even consider it with dd and I had no worries with her at all! It's probably because I still don't really believe it's in there.

I actually don't know how I'll last another 3 weeks till the scan. I need to know now that's everything is ok..

We ordered a curry last night.. I had two spoonfuls of saagaloo .. 2 spoonfuls of curry and a poppadom and I was done :-( could have weeped over how much I wanted to eat it!

I wish my scan was earlier too. I guess at least having one at 13 weeks will be nice and clear and properly baby-like? So worried about whether there'll still be a heartbeat, never mind two.

When are people's scans? Is it the first week of May?

I actually started reading my pregnancy book this morning and went in the loft seeking maternity clothes on Thursday. Only found 3 items though and am so achy from the rooting around at least I found some work trousers. Just need my jeans now!

I dont have mine yet :( think the week after next though.

I'm feeling proper yucky today. No sick just sore tummy and that strong nausea that won't come to anything or bugger off. Feeling super lazy and crap .. still in pj's on sofa

Morning, hope everyone's having a good weekend so far.

I had my private scan this morning and all good. A very different and much better experience than NHS. Lots of explanation and came Way with about a dozen brilliant images. Well worth the £60, especially since she told me my placenta is at the front so I shouldn't expect to feel any movement before about 24 weeks. That's going to save me a lot of worry since with DD I was feeling movement from 18weeks.

Feeling reassured so planning to go public at work this week

My scan is on 08 may. I'll be 13+1 then according to my private scan. Still feels like weeks to go!
