That was a surprise! 2nd at 26 and first at 18 ! I also have had 3 mc. Last one 4 years ago so guess I am v fertile !!! Maybe it's perimenapause? Maybe I'm kidding myself ? I'm terrified I could be p!! Keep thinking don't be so bloody stupid ! ( my OH s opinion ) or I am as I know my own body ! Can't stop hypo ventilating ! Any one else been p at this age ? Oh and I have a 10 year old grandson and a 5 month grand daughter ! Oh the shame :(

Arghhh if I knew where you lived I'd March round with a test and stage a sit in till you did it.

GoooRooo · 02/02/2015 21:23

This is edge of the seat stuff! Go and get a test at a 24 hour supermarket. I'm not leaving this thread until I know.

PopularNamesInclude · 02/02/2015 21:24

Would it help if dp or a friend bought a test and stayed with you while you waited for the result?

TabbyNicki · 02/02/2015 21:34

OOOO exciting!

Kemlex13 · 02/02/2015 21:56

Sometimes not knowing just makes it worse, the stress delays periods and you worry more. Viscous circle huh. Good luck whatever the outcome xxx

lia66 · 02/02/2015 22:07

I fell pregnant last September 2 weeks before my 48th birthday. I was stunned.

Sadly mc at 11 weeks ( age I guess, 5th mc for me ).

Fingers crossed for the result that you'd like x

NickiFury · 02/02/2015 22:10

If you're not going to do a test at least start taking folic acid.

PoppySausage · 02/02/2015 22:16

Hope you get the answer you want (blatant place marking for poas result!)

dancestomyowntune · 02/02/2015 22:35

Do a test. Until you do your just torturing yourself (and us).

SaggyAndLucy · 02/02/2015 22:35

Just do a test already!!

caravanista13 · 02/02/2015 22:46

Really hope you get the outcome you're hoping for

iwantgin · 03/02/2015 07:22

Done it yet op?

Better to know than worry.

Number3cometome · 03/02/2015 10:10

I'm waiting patiently for POAS results taps foot

tannyLoo · 03/02/2015 10:14

Sorry, I am shamelessly marking my place! I'm rooting for you, whichever way you want it to go... My friend had a surprise first pregnancy at 50, and went on to have a healthy girl, so it happens! Taking a test is the only way to even start to know what's going on, and the sooner you know, the sooner you can get support in place.

fattymcfatfat · 03/02/2015 10:20

Still no test results? Come on woman! Ive already told you we are all nosey and now you keep us waiting!!!

Aberchips · 03/02/2015 10:24

Also shamelessly place marking! Have you tested yet? Hope you get the result you want

At least once you know for sure either way you can start making plans/decisions.

Good luck

iwantgin · 03/02/2015 11:24

Do it!

I don't know how you can not want/need to know.

Am a similar age to you, and I figured it was game over by now. Maybe not after reading this thread.

Good luck with the testing!

Number3cometome · 03/02/2015 11:45

Get the test and go and POAS immediately then report back to us

montyandmabel · 03/02/2015 11:51

Good luck Jaysey. Thinking of you... Flowers

happygojo · 03/02/2015 12:53

No need to feel shame. Do a test, if it's positive book in with your gp or local family planning service for advice/support. If you suspect you are pregnant, you need to start taking folic acid. It could be menopause, your gp could advise you best

Elfina · 03/02/2015 13:02

Why would it be ridiculous? If you have regular periods and you have sex, it's always a possibility? I hope it's a no for you.
