My taste buds have totally changed so struggling to eat a wide range of meat based meals. (Basically can only just tolerate mince [in different forms] and fish)

Can't wait for things to go back to "normal".

What are you not eating at the moment that will be/is on your "scoffing as soon as possible after birth"?

Mine is hot fresh baguette with pate for breakfast lunch and dinner...... okay maybe just lunch

And a medium done STEAK! with blue cheese dressing yum yum yum

Aha! The great smoked salmon debate is over ;)

"Smoked fish in pregnancy is safe

Smoked fish, which includes smoked salmon and smoked trout, is considered safe to eat in pregnancy."

Though they do also say salmon is to be to 2 portions a week max:

"When you're pregnant, you should also avoid having more than two portions of oily fish a week, such as salmon, trout, mackerel and herring, because it can contain pollutants such as dioxins and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs)."

NCT website goes into a bit more detail as to why:

"It is also fine to eat smoked fish such as smoked salmon or mackerel when you are pregnant, although some other countries advise you not to because of the risk of listeria bacteria. However, in the UK pregnant women are not advised against doing so because it is believed the risk of infection is so low in comparison to the benefits of oily fish."

Coffee! And lots of it! I will get some chocolate covered espresso beans, and I will eat lots of them. Unfortunately, that will have to wait until the baby is eating solid foods...
