redbullbloodandbump · 09/10/2006 11:17

cupsnakes · 09/10/2006 11:17

LiliLaTigresse · 09/10/2006 11:18

well I had a lovely week-end
glad I missed all this, sounds awful
and rather voyeuristic

northerner · 09/10/2006 11:19

So I take it the thread has been deleted then? I was onlune till about 8pm and could not beleive what I was reading. Tbh I had refrained from posting earlier as something about it all didn't quite sit right with me.

I can normally sniff out a bullshitter from a fair distance!

How is LGJ btw?

shhhh · 09/10/2006 11:20

enid, nope.

UM what I was trying to say is that you can get into other relationships very easily in rl as well. I have a gardener and a window cleaner who I talk to and make brews for and I chat to the Tesco delivery man or the man from the newsagent. Or even my neighbour..Hey they all pay me attention but it doesn't mean I would run off with them. I love dh to much and wouldn't jepodise my dd and ds2b for anything. I also trust that dh is the same.

I agree though, obviously things weren't "strong" enough for them to stop it iykwim. I feel sorry for their partners and kids.

beetroot · 09/10/2006 11:24

Move along now.

Go clean your bins

Do some work

This thread is finished

northerner · 09/10/2006 11:26

OOoh, my pet hate is people who draw lines under threads. Sorry Beety - your very nice but I find it really condascending.

If I want to post I bloomin well will.

beetroot · 09/10/2006 11:29

i give up then Northener, carry on with the mob stoning.

I jsut think this is nasty, bitchy, and totally unacceptable behaviour

Mumsnet AT IT'S Worst.

goodbye

gertfatcod · 09/10/2006 11:29

Haiku.

Teh one redeemign feature of thisw hole mess.

northerner · 09/10/2006 11:31

Oh FGS, some of us weren't around last night, some people might still want to talk about it today.

Mumsnet at it's worst has been caused by 2 certain people and 2 alone.

moaningpaper · 09/10/2006 11:32

no it hasn't

it has been caused by the 500 who stood around baying

cupsnakes · 09/10/2006 11:33

Moving along would be all well and good if you'd exhausted the topic.
But some of us are new to it and completely out of the loop.

northerner · 09/10/2006 11:35

MN at it's worst is 2 married posters doing what they did. And one of them posting about her mistake.

Lets not put the blame elsewhere now.

moaningpaper · 09/10/2006 11:36

oh did anyone write the Haiku?

Mummy wants bad Carl
Blue lines more anklebiters
Global peering over keyboards

hmm

GeorginaA · 09/10/2006 11:38

Too many syllables in the last line ;) You're only allowed 5-7-5 ...

gertfatcod · 09/10/2006 11:38

Dipping his wick in,
Un-shy chatroom drama queen.
Regret. Now too late.

CreepyJess · 09/10/2006 11:38

I know some people might want to discuss it today.. (and in posting so I am doing so too..).. but it would be nice if they could just say to themselves 'ah well, there's one I missed, never mind' because to be fair, it just a subject for discussion for the vast majority of us. It's not going to kill us to stop discussing it, and opinions left unposted will not cause us internal injury!. For the people actually involved (ie those whose lives are going to be changed because of what has happened and yes that includes the guilty parties), it is far more than just something to post about.

Lines drawn under topics and people staying 'don't post' usually annoy me too.. but it the spirit of common decency, to the innocent parties if noone else, it would be decent to stop discussing it, at least on here. Enough people have swapped emails addresses for the express purpose after all.. and it's up to them what they discuss off the site.

SharpAndSpikeyOHara · 09/10/2006 11:41

OK, I posted on 'that' thread, I had suspsions about who etc.. I haven't logged on all weekend to find that I missed the outcome.. pleasae can somebody- welshy, anybody.. mail me and tell me what happened I want to know if my assumptions were correct.. I know a fair few have my mail addy but if you don't its mascaraohara hotmail co uk....

please... I know I am sad and voyeristic BUT it's like a reading a book and the final 6 pages being ripped out....
