In a&e waiting to be seen...
Just been knocked off if my bike by a*hole drive who thought it was hilarious to reverse into and then over me at traffic lights before driving off.
Thought I was fine, but shaking, but now the cramps have started, and can't stop crying or shaking.
Antenatal won't see me to check baby until I have been seen at a&e :'(
Sorry for me, me, me post, but just can't believe this after everything else.

Oh cuppa, I am appalled. I hope you're busy being seen and reassured now. My thoughts are with you and your cuplet. Bear in mind that baby is well-protected in there, and should be fine. The worst I had cycling (in my first pg, what with the tot & the MC & the broken foot I've not been brave enough to ride this time) was people shouting at me for being on the road vs the pavement, nothing like that.

Oh Cuppa, what an **sehole is right. I sincerely hope he won't get away with it. More importantly, I hope you & your Bean are doing ok.

Quick update
A&e strapped up my foot where car went over it as concerned re lack of sensation, despite my explaining that this was the case before! And shipped me ups to obs.
Trace all good, but reduced movements and regular cramps which may be contractions so they are keeping me in as a precaution...
Hoping to be home in the morning.
Police have reg plate and witnesses, and the lights have cameras, so hopefully to catch the b***d

We are in hospital still. More phototherapy for jaundice. Feeding is loads better now though so hoping that will help

Update from here, cramping much less now, and able to feel movements :-)
No further fluid loss.
Waiting for obs reg and a scan, but hoping to go home later if they are happy. They are discussing whether to give me steroids for baby's lungs...
DH said police called back at 1am! Quite glad not to have been home; they would have got no sense out of me then.

Would you mind if I joined you? I mc'd over August bank holiday at 5w3 and have this week got increasingly clear BFP. We have DD1 aged 3 and last month was my first mc so I'm feeling rather nervy and wobbly at the moment!

Is it worth me contacting docs/midwife yet? Is there generally any additional appointments/care if you're pg following mc?

Also how do I date having fallen in my WTF cycle? Mc was 4w3d ago but I used opk's which I think put ov around the 12th, making me more like 3w4d - so confused!

Sorry for jumping straight in with all the questions but I don't know who else to ask and can't concentrate on much else! I so hope this one sticks.

Not looking good here Had back ache all weekend then started bleeding sat night. Was trying to be hopeful but fresh bleeding Sunday eve and yesterday. Scan on Thursday but think it'll just be confirmation that it's MC number 3. Trying to pretend it could be something else but think it's all to heavy and crampy for that. Feeling frustrated

stop - congratulations and welcome.
bythesea - I am sorry you think you've had another mc. Can you bring your scan forward? My local epu has a walk-in-clinic and you can self-refer if you've had a previous mc. Waiting till Thurs sounds like torture.
Squiz, fedup - how are you both doing?
No news here, which is good I suppose but would like to feel really sick! Flying out to Oz this evening - eek - and have a scan booked for the day I fly back in. Will check in from time to time but going to try and take the opportunity to unwind a bit - have really not been sleeping well since my bfp and sure I'm doing myself no good.

Thanks longestlurker Thursday is their first slot but kind of happy to wait as maybe will be conclusive by then!

Hope you have a great time in Oz, sounds like a good plan to use it to step away from it all and relax and hopefully come back to positive scan news

I am a late joiner to this thread as I've been staying off the internet, or trying to, but I had huge support on here after my MC in early April, and very luckily got pregnant again soon after.

I'm now 20 weeks, and heard baby's heartbeat at 18 week MW appointment, but I'm not really feeling much movement at the moment, just the odd tickling sensation, and somehow this week I don't 'feel' very pregnant, have more energy and feeling less stiff around the pelvis. Is this just good 2nd trimester energy levels kicking in?

I have a scan next week, seems silly to worry now, and the thought of dragging myself to hospital to see a MW when I'll be going there next week anyway seems a big hassle. Just need a bit of hand holding till then - if I could feel a really distinct movement I'd feel so much happier, but from last time round with my DD I can barely remember when I started to feel proper movement. Just hate the waiting...
