Babytinx11 · 16/09/2014 19:47

Doing a bit of a happy dance my bedroom looks like a bedroom now :) soooo pleased :) getting nervous for Thursdays app with mw though actually glad to be busy takes my mind off it a bit so scared they won't be able to find a heartbeat Sad irrational I know but just niggles :(

missmakesstuff · 16/09/2014 20:52

So happy to hear all the good news! Lovely babies everywhere! I've had my 12 wks scan today and it was perfect, couldn't have been better, they put me at 13 weeks and we saw the bean moving lots, swallowing and moving legs and arms about, was magic, have had a smile on my face all day!

Babytinx11 · 16/09/2014 21:38

Fab news missmakes :) so glad your scan went well Grin

Olive1987 · 16/09/2014 21:45

I think my morning sickness is starting now. This didn't happen with the two pregnancies I lost. So in a way I'm happy to have it Confused Smile have felt sick all day yesterday and today. Only thing that eases it is to eat! I've brought strawberries so I can snack on something healthy. What else is good to graze? I feel like eating all the time!

littlemissy12345 · 16/09/2014 21:45

Such lovely news about new babies. I had my 12 weeks scan today and they moved me to 12+6. Just so so relieved when I saw that baby and heartbeat.
Glad your scan went well too missmakes.

SuzyBean · 16/09/2014 22:04

Congratulations fedup!!! And great scan news today littlemissy and missmakes

squizita · 17/09/2014 08:14

On my way to hospital. No need for undue excitement. Had some loose brown fluid ... very loose show or waters? Dunno, hence they're swabbing me. I reckons just show! I'll be the world's first 10 month pregnant lady!Grin

Alb1 · 17/09/2014 08:21

Hehe, I felt like that this time last week squiz have they considered an induction date yet? Fingers crossed this is it tho!

Congrats on the lovely scan news guys

tannyLoo · 17/09/2014 08:48

Great scan news! So pleased x

squizita · 17/09/2014 09:21

No news... just old blood from Mondays stretch and some (lots of) watery mucus. Watery as in water not "waters". Shows the stretch worked though.

Babytinx11 · 17/09/2014 10:17

Hopefully not long for you then squiz

Why is it just when thing start settling stuff happens DS had an asthma attack last night looks like he has a chest infection :( and I am feeling crappy hope it's just a cold and not enough sleep DS is at the doctors at lunchtime and my mw app is tomorrow afternoon. Anyone got any suggestions what to take for a cold apparently can't take flu plus while pregnant :(

B4rley · 17/09/2014 13:27

Hey ladies, can I join you?
Stats: I had a mmc in 2009, followed by my Ds. Then a complete miscarriage in Aug this year and now I'm currently 5+4.

I am feeling really anxious as I had nausea a few days ago, but it seems to have disappeared. Now I only have sore boobs.

My gp has done some bloods and is happy with them, and said she will try and refer me for an early scan, but I've no idea how long that takes.

Sorry, that's a very me me me post, but I don't know who else to speak to. I just wish I knew what was going on!

amicablemoomin · 17/09/2014 13:28

Congrats fedup! what a lot of lovely happy news we've had recently here, it really does build the old confidence! I'm impatient now to mine....can't believe confident enough to say that!!! Can someone on pc update the stats?
Let's have a postnatal thread, it is just such a support having you ladies all here.

I'm just back from MW visit, all good (I got a bit emotional telling her the baby is kicking well - it's funny how it hits you) and managed to get through telling the HV this am about previous MCs without crying (a first) so I guess it was bound to come out somewhere.

baby hope you are feeling better soon. Lots of rest (if at all possible) is all I can suggest, you've had such a lot going on the past few weeks. Good luck with appointments - maybe check with your MW on what to take to feel better?

Olive hope MS subsides, I agree though it is 'nice' to have it in the early weeks, very reassuring somehow. I couldn't eat much anything but carbs. Peaches are still in season and might be nice? Rice cakes?

Babytinx11 · 17/09/2014 16:26

Welcome b4rly Smile

Thanx amicable DH is off work today and tomorrow and hopefully DS is back at school tomorrow :) upset DH a bit this afternoon by falling asleep on the sofa Confused I don't think I am in his good books right now going to try and make up to him by cooking stir fry now

LondonJen · 17/09/2014 21:27

Hello ladies

It's been a while since I visited but seeing Fedup's news on another thread prompted me to stop by and see how everyone is. Delighted to see your news Alb congratulations! And looks like MrsG has a little one in her arms now too. Hurray!

Squiz are you in overdue territory yet then??

I'm 37 weeks today and can't complain. Have stayed low risk & still hoping to use the Birth Centre. Had plenty of niggles (piles, carpal tunnel, restless legs) but nothing too horrendous. Seem to be tired all the time at the mo' -hoping for some nesting energy soon!

Sending you all lots of posifrickentivity. Have thought of you often even though not been on here xXx

Gwlondon · 17/09/2014 23:42

Congratulations OneLittleToddleTerror ALB1 and fedupofrainydays!

amicablemoomin · 18/09/2014 07:50

oooh, lovely to hear from you London, glad to hear all is well and the finishing post is in sight! Very exciting!

B4rly welcome, congratulations! you are in the right place. Sorry for your losses.it is great news your doc is supportive and sending you for an early scan. I'm guessing they will wait till after 6 weeks to increase chance of seeing hb?

cheesecurry86 · 18/09/2014 09:04

Good morning ladies been amazing reading your ups and downs a big congratulations on those scan news and squizita I hope baby comes soon x as for me well im quite late into pregnancy 33 weeks (no Internet) lost my daughter at 21 weeks due to a short cervix and infection in 2007 been a long seven years what with finding out I have pcos and fertility treatment but im getting there and he is healthy and growing well and so many complications as well (cerclage stitch) and really bad headaches but getting excited and fed up as well .

Babytinx11 · 18/09/2014 09:46

Midwife this afternoon Confused terrified they aren't going to be able to hear a heartbeat is there anything I can do to make it easier to hear assuming all is still good with baby

squizita · 18/09/2014 10:41

Baby they are very good at wiggling the dipper to hear! Mine is naughty and loves to hide buy they always get her in the end! :) Hope you're feeling better - you can have cough sweets like tunes and fishermen friends plus paracetamol. Also steam with olbas oil in.

B4rly Hi ... Symptoms come and go, but a blood test is a blood test! :) My mum carried twins with no sickness - it varies a lot so try not to worry.

Moomin hooray for a good visit! :)

London I've not been nesty either yet. Haha!

Cheese hi. 33 weeks is great: generally at 34 weeks baby is considered able to fend for himself without extra medical care: a big milestone and weight off the mind! :)

I am 40+6. The bean is sitting pretty. Sweep Saturday ... FX my cervix is open! Stubborn bloody thing.

HollyBen · 18/09/2014 13:04

I am at the mudwife at 2 baby at my bookingapt she told me they don't listen for the hb anymore at 16 weeks Sad Seems to be particular to my area though

HollyBen · 18/09/2014 13:04

*midwife........

squizita · 18/09/2014 13:14

Holly get a second opinion on that. There's a column in your standard nhs notes for hb and fetal movement. They're meant to check - with a handheld device - every time. That's nationally.

Just got told I won't be able to handle Xmas. Hmm Even if bean needs inducing she'll be 3 months old ...? I find it really hard to differentiate REALLY how your life will be stuff from exaggeration. I'm in no position to argue. But surely by 3 months I will be able to sling some baubles up and put a cheats pre stuffed easy carve roast in my oven?
