Now there's an idea bythesea cake is always the answer think I'm going to head to the shop now Grin

squizita · 12/09/2014 15:41

Back from mw... no big news. Hb slightly high (we know) but as I've had a test for thyroid they think it's just pregnancy, baby very low ... Once again the MLU have me at 34cm but this time thankfully they felt how low she was so no problems there! Now we just have to wait. And drink pineapple juice and eat curry...

PurplePest · 12/09/2014 16:23

squiz enjoy the pineapple and curry!

baby I have been grumpy too but mostly with OH!!! Hope cake helps!

bythesea glad little bean is OK!

squiz pineapple and curry together or seperate have to say the sound of curries pineapple actually appeals right now lol

So had cake still grumpy and stressed this is when if I wasn't pregnant when DS went to
Bed I would pour a huge glass of wine lol as it is I'll have to settle for a bath and hopefully an early night :)

Any one else getting headaches I know it's too early for the nasties as far as headaches goes but I am wondering if it's a pregnancy thing it a stressed out thing either way it's nasty and I have had it for week and it won't shift Sad

Alb1 · 12/09/2014 18:58

Good to see the good scan news on here Smile

baby I'm not surprised your feeling like that with the chaotic month or so that youv had with the surprise move on top of everything else! Hope your ok Flowers

squiz good luck with the curries an pineapple, hope it works better for you than it has for me!

I'm still here, (and sorry for tmi coming up) but have lost more plug than I ever thought possible yesterday an today, seriously if that's how much plug there is I'm
A little scared to see what it's like when ur waters go! I'm hoping induction doesn't take too much tomoro cos my body is obviously getting ready. Either way atleast things will be getting started tomoro!

HollyBen · 12/09/2014 19:03

oooh alb how exciting! Hope all goes well x

Olive1987 · 12/09/2014 19:29

Hello everyone. My name is Olive and I have been sent over here by some of the ladies on the miscarriage forum.
So my last lmp was end of April, I miscarried on Friday 13 of June at 6 weeks 3 days. (I wasn't superstitious before, but I am now). Got pregnant again straight after to miscarry again end of July at exactly 6 weeks 3 days again.
So I got a BFP roughly 2 weeks ago and I am sooo excited but also extremely anxious. I'm not sure how far I am. If I date this pregnancy from the day I started bleeding last time then I would be 6+4 which means I've past that horrible 6+3 milestone.
I am going to read through and hopefully find some happy endings after miscarriage.

:)

Babytinx11 · 12/09/2014 20:09

Hi olive welcome Smile

Thanx alb it does feel like it's all hitting me at once with everything I was the one who was holding it together and organising everything and it's only since I should be able to relax this started so it makes sense Smile good luck for your induction I was induced with DS and it only took about 10 hours before he was in my arms so hopefully things will be just as quick :)

PurplePest · 12/09/2014 20:37

Exciting Alb!!!

Welcome Olive!

Hi Olive! Welcome, Sorry for your loss and congratulations on your pregnancy. Keep reading the positive stories and remember today you are pregnant! Grin

OneLittleToddleTerror · 12/09/2014 21:34

I have to say I like the sound of pineapples in curry. I'm thinking a Thai one with pineapples btw. Yum.

alb I'm surprised to know you have so much mucus plug! I don't remember it like this with my DD but then my water went first. That's what I remembered but surely it can't be right the water came before the show if you think logically about it? Either way you will be seeing your new baby is weekend. Hopefully you will have a not so painful labour. Do you know how your baby is lying? Back to back is worst as it is more painful and also will be a longer labour. My midwife has been telling me mine is back to the left side currently which is supposed to be the best position. I'm hoping labour will be easier this time. (DD was back to back). All the best to you tomorrow.

baby I haven't had headaches but I'm not surprised if you have with all the stress you are having. Hope you can start to relax now. The only way is up isn't it?

olive welcome on board. Hope your stay here will be long and fruitful.

Psmith83 · 12/09/2014 21:44

Baby I've started getting headaches in and off during pregnancy, I get them during my period as well. Nhs has a page about headaches in pregnancy: www.nhs.uk/Conditions/pregnancy-and-baby/pages/headaches-pregnant.aspx

Alb1 · 12/09/2014 21:55

one I don't think he's either to be honest, his back is down the side of the bump, an the mw hasn't said anythin other than that :-/ so I don't really no what that means, don't really no what to expect with anythin tomoro, she hasn't really explained induction much or anythin either, but I guess all will be revealed tomoro!

bythesea82 · 12/09/2014 22:14

alb huge luck tomorrow, looking forward to exciting news from you.

Hi olive Smile

silverine · 12/09/2014 22:36

?Waves back?to tanny due date buddies indeed. I'm 15+4 today. Wink

amicablemoomin · 13/09/2014 07:42

Morning Olive you are in the right place - lots of positive stories here, and lots of positive endings to scary incidents - usually involving bleeding, which amazingly for those of us who have suffered MCs does not always signal the end - far from it in fact. This thread has kept me sane!

baby I had a few headaches early on - MW said to make sure I was drinking enough water and that did sort them out on the most part, but I had awful ones with another pregnancy and MW said they were pregnancy related.

alb good luck!

blankfornames · 13/09/2014 09:41

Morning ladies,
Congrats on your pregnancy Olive, this is definitely the place to be. Hope this one is a sticky one for you!

Baby, I've had week long headaches also. It's all pregnancy related. Since then, I've upped my intake of water & I've been ok since. Hope they improve!

Alb, sounds like things are beginning to stir! Exciting!

Bythesea, lovely news! Well done!

I'm 17+2, feeling little movements which is incredible. My '24 hr knicker watch' routine has decreased considerably & my bump seems to be growing by the day! For the first time since I found out, I'm enjoying this pregnancy! I love & am so proud of my wee bump! My energy has also improved hugely over past week.

I'm here for another 23+ weeks (fx'ed) but thanks ladies for the hands holds & reassurances so far!
Hope some due babies are born this weekend!

Babytinx11 · 13/09/2014 09:44

one hopefully I can start to relax although DS seems to have other ideas about that lol but what 3 year old doesn't

ps I'll check that page out thank you :)

amicable I have to drink loads anyway coz of my kidney but I will try drinking more see if that helps :)

Today should be fairly peaceful I hope no school run today so planning on keeping DS happy and hopefully quiet with some mess free craft ideas I found on Pintrest and tomorrow is my day off other than cooking Sunday dinner as DH is off work so him and DS can have some father son time Grin

SuzyBean · 13/09/2014 11:19

Alb good luck!!!

I had a scan this morning and all looks good!! I saw a heart beat and little arms and legs and I sobbed the whole way through! They also dated me two days further on so 9 + 3 so pretty much bang on where I thought I was.

squizita · 13/09/2014 11:37

Hi Olive :)

Baby hope you feel better today.

Alb How exciting. Big day today! :) hope it goes as smoothly as possible and as fast as it can without being scarily fast! :)

Blank great when you get kicks and a bump, so reassuring isn't it?

Suzy congrats on your good scan! :)

I'm off to stroll up to the local nature reserve (a hill!) As the stairs there seem more interesting than my house stairs.

Alb1 · 13/09/2014 11:59

Great scan news suzy

Thanks for all the good wishes. Nothin happening here, there skipping the pessary an going straight for breaking waters so just waiting around for staff to be free, looks like it's gona be a long wait!

Purplefrogshoes · 13/09/2014 13:51

Hi all, I'm 5 weeks and after 2 mmc and mp terrified! Can I ask at what stage did you see gp/midwife? I'm sure I would be given an early scan if I asked at 7/8 weeks but I don't know if this would help as mmc no 2 I had hb until 10 weeks Confused

missmakesstuff · 13/09/2014 13:56

Hi everyone, busy week at work again, completely overwhelmed with work again, it's exhausting. Been swimming with dd ttoday, did 20 lengths whilst she had her lesson and feeling really good, going to try going 3 x a week. Got 12 wks scan on Tuesday, petrified but feeling optimistic that everything is ok. Really just want to tell people at work after that, I am running out of stuff to wear that covers the tum I have developed!

baby I had a week of really bad headaches, tiredness mostly but also eye strain I think, started wearing my glasses that I usually only wear for driving, seems to help. Apparently your corneas soften or something, making it more difficult to focus? Might have got that wrong though! Also drank loads of water and used tiger balm on my forehead. Got a yucky cough this week, which is making everything hurt, driving me mad as its so Christy, going to try to get some cough sweets as I probably can't have any cough medicine....

Welcome olive and good luck alb!

missmakesstuff · 13/09/2014 14:00

Sorry x post, welcome purple I had some bleeding at 7 week's so had scan then, could have seen midwife at 8 week's, was 9 I think. My gp would have sent me for reassurance at 7-8 week's I think anyway, they were lovely at the epau, and although you can never know what will happen after that, the chances are better after seeing heartbeat at 8 week's I think. Hth, good luck!
