I'm 35 weeks and driving myself crazy! I'm so uncomfortable and this heat isn't helping. I'm constantly expanding, my jeans are getting too tight but it seems silly to buy anymore now.

I just want him out, he must be just about big enough by now!

Anyone else feeling the same?

Good luck purple I eagerly await news.

Needa hope all is good with you. Again I love hearing about the babies that are being born.

We have put the final piece of the jigsaw in place and have changed our car to one that fits all three across the back seat.

My parents arrive this Friday, so that they are in place when I go into labour (hopefully they will be in time)

Still having loads of downward pressure and tightenings, but nothing major. I think that I won't go until at least next weekend. Hope do not start tomorrow as we are near a big sports ground that has a large fixture on tomorrow and this would cause huge delays getting to the hospital.

TheOriginalWinkly · 31/05/2014 20:34

Good luck purple How far along are you again? How far along are all the non-labourers, sorry, I've forgotten. I'm 36+2 now.

RoseberryTopping · 31/05/2014 20:39

Me to original. I'm disorganised at the best of times but pregnancy makes me lose track of everything. I'm 37 weeks now.

Glad you got your car sorted, do you feel ready now then? I love that feeling when the last thing has been bought and you're all set and ready to go :)

Really need to download a contraction timer app for when the time comes, has anyone else got one?

evertonmint · 31/05/2014 20:47

Good luck purple!

Rosebery, I downloaded one called full term. I read one thread I found in search and somebody said you could email your data to yourself from this and as I'm a stats geek I figured I might quite enjoy tinkering with it afterwards Grin you just have to press Start and Stop, and it then gives you time and frequency and average over time and a few graphs too.

I've also downloaded a breast feeding app. I figured that this baby will be on and off like a yoyo as an east way to keep him quiet while I chase after the other two, so ill never be able to keep track of how he's feeding or any patterns emerging myself.

This is my 21st century tech pregnancy. It was old school pen and paper with the last 2 Grin

evertonmint · 31/05/2014 20:49

Original, I'm 38 + 2 today. I expect to go at least the full 40 given prior experience. But I have had tummy achey BH tightening most of the day (intermittent, not regular) so maybe things are getting primed at least.

NeedaDiscoNap · 31/05/2014 20:52

Baby disco nap was born this morning at 11.30. Emergency section after things refused to move along. She is wonderful, I am done in! Off for some sleep now Smile

RoseberryTopping · 31/05/2014 20:54

Congratulations disco! Xx

Still not having regular pains and just watching tv having eaten some mcdonalds. Midwife at the hospital said for us to go in tomorrow morning for around 9am if I don't need to go before that. Hmm

Iwillorderthefood · 31/05/2014 21:02

Congratulations disco

seasaltbaby · 31/05/2014 21:14

Congratulations needa! Yay to more babiesSmile
Purple-hope you can get a comfortable ish nights sleep before you go back tomorrow, if nothing happens in between!

38+4 here & expecting to go to 40 weeks as did with my first, but you never know!

Haven't thought about apps but this sounds like a good idea-off to investigate now.....

dramajustfollowsme · 31/05/2014 21:21

Congratulations, DiscoNap!

Purple, how are you doing?

Just saying to dh, I don't remember being this huge with dd.
He then reminded me that by this point in pregnancy with dd my waters had gone and she was nearly here. I am 35+ 5. She was born at 36wks precisely.
I feel completely fine now after having so many symptoms and dilating early in the week. I think now, I may have had a touch of the tummy bug that dd has had too. Who knows?
I have the mw on Wednesday. I have to ask for a meeting with an anethetist. I got a post dural puncture headache after dd was born and was really poorly.
I don't want that to happen again but don't want to just rule out an epidural either. With me being under consultant care at the hospital, I don't feel they really check me out very well. They ask a few questions, write feels fine (even if I don't) Shockand then send me on my way. Don't measure bump, don't test urine, don't really allow me to ask anything. Everything is so rushed.
I feel

Congratulations Disconap! Lovely to read about everyone's babies - even if I'm VERY jealous that mine hasn't come yet!

Baby KillashandraRee is just amazing he's so perfect we're over the moon with him. X

seasaltbaby · 01/06/2014 08:11

Congratulations purple!!Smile not a relaxing night after all thenWink Hope the birth all went ok.

1st June. I'm definitely having a baby this month, hurrah.

Iwillorderthefood · 01/06/2014 09:54

Congratulations purple hope it all went well. I guess you will be introducing Alexander to his siblings today. How exciting.

I am now 38+4. My bump feels very heavy, especially when in bed. Have pillows propping me up, but now feel as if I am being dragged to the side with sharp muscular pain at the top of my bump. This is new for me, I think it is just my poor abdominal muscles being separated ever further, to make sure I will never regain anything like my pre-pregnancy stomach. This was never great, since my muscles had never fully gone back together from DD2, but the year prior to this pregnancy had finally started to go back to some semblance of normal.

I am not taking my own advice from earlier in this thread as I am now starting to overthink everything and becoming really worried. It's obviously the waiting that is getting to me, and if it's anything like last time I will probably have my baby on 15 June.

Darksideofthemoon88 · 01/06/2014 10:17

Congratulations, Purple! Flowers

Sorry forTMI everyone, but I think I may have been losing some more of my plug - thick, colourless, jelly-like stuff? Hoping that's a good sign! 1st June would be a good birthday if you're listening, little miss!

Iwillorderthefood · 01/06/2014 11:21

Yes! dark hope that this is it for you now. Not TMI (well I don't think so), if you cannot say it here, where can you say it? 1st June, is a good birthday.

Darksideofthemoon88 · 01/06/2014 13:28

Well no further signs of anything Sad Don't think much of this waiting game!

livingzuid · 01/06/2014 15:05

Hello all,

Lovely to see all the new arrivals. We had a very difficult last 48 hours with her having suspected meningitis but fortunately found out today it is 'just' an infection and easily being treated with penicillin. My little trooper is doing better than her parents :)

sick I am eating everything in sight. It was amazing to be able to eat normally!

Good luck all those who are rocketing towards labour, not long now.

RoseberryTopping · 01/06/2014 16:42

I've been getting similar dark, not got my hopes up though as last time my plug went it was huge. This has just been a drab of clear jelly like stuff. Fingers crossed yours means your on your way though!

Congrats purple! Another moaner to tick off the list :)

Don't worry IWillOrder, that's why God invented Spanx! Know what you mean about that heavy feeling, awful isn't it. Sounds horrible but I'm loving not having DP around to share a bed with during the week. Last night he got up and stormed downstairs at 4am cos apparently all I was doing was snoring, pumping and heaving myself around Blush

Had a busy day at the beach today, would have been enjoyable but everyone was grumpy apart from me, they all cheered up towards the end but I'm left being grumpy from running round keeping them all happy now. Could do with a massive bottle glass of wine.

Oh hope Cecilia gets better soon, poor wee mite getting poorly so early :( just had a peek on your profile at her, she is so gorgeous!

Iwillorderthefood · 01/06/2014 17:48

roseberry yes yes yes to spanx. Beach sounds lovely.

dark hopefully things are moving again now.

living I am so sorry that Cecilia has been causing you such worry, hope she is better soon. I am really envious of you and that you can eat normally again. Sounds amazing.

DH is cooking a curry tonight so this is very much something to look forward to. I doubt it it will get me moving though since we have curry all the time. I might start on the raspberry leaf tea and the pineapples (although not sure could eat enough of it to have any affect).

Darksideofthemoon88 · 01/06/2014 18:11

The only thing that seems to have ANY effect on me, Iwillorder, is accupressure: DP has a book and he's been practising on me. There are a few exceedingly painful points on your feet, ankles, and hands that stimulate the uterus and they certainly set off pains in that area in me....just those pains haven't led anywhere yet Sad You might have better luck though! The raspberry leaf (tablets, in my case) has done sweet FA. I've also tried pineapple juice (can't stand the actual fruit!), curries/chilli, bouncing on pilates ball, wide-legged squats, exercising/walking as much as possible, sex, nipple-twiddling and expressing milk....and she's STILL in there! Hope you have more luck than me!

Living: That sounds rather stressful Sad Glad she's fighting it well though.
