For pregnant berries at any stage. Scary thought but this is the one where some babies will appear!

Foody I didn't get a home visit pre birth. Maybe depends on your trust

Afaik our midwives are too busy to do a home inspection!

CharmingCats · 31/03/2014 02:38

Had a voicemail from the HV a couple of weeks ago trying to make contact. Returned the call and left a message, but nothing back. Think they'll want to do a pre-natal visit. Very odd.
Can't sleep. Very achy and DH snoring.
bunny loved the reveal pics. Very creative. Gender cake next? Wink

Tell me, wise berries (more knowledgeable than NCT, it would appear), when does the wind go away?

Thunderpantsarego · 31/03/2014 03:46

Morning all,

Lovely milestones with the reveal, second and third trimesters in here yesterday Smile

And tally how sweet is that?! Lovely! You deserve a little fuss to be made of you my dear.

foody sorry about the hormone fug, sounds like taking action has made you feel a bit better emotionally if not physically.

And cats, you think the wind goes away, ha!?!!! Wink seriously though i don't know if there is any pattern really. Certainly wasn't throughout my pregnancy.

BlindKitty · 31/03/2014 07:08

foody I get another home visit. Don't really mind though as guessing i won't be wanting to traipse to the surgery at 38weeks.

charming maybe the hv is just due to your past medical history? Wouldn't worry though, sure it's just routine Smile

Boomgoestheweasel · 31/03/2014 07:44

I don't think I get any home visits, but then I'm not sure I'm on the mw's radar since I've never seen her... HVs do a home visit in the trust I work for but not heard from them here at all. Being left to my own devices, just as well since house is dirty hovel!

Pamper day today. Roll on massage o'clock! Feet and hands just starting to puff up a bit which is annoying, they'll have to mani/pedicure my fat trotters instead of proper appendages!

Tallyra · 31/03/2014 09:05

ooh boom that sounds nice.
Dh is off this week so we are getting the room sorted. I wish I had a pamper day booked! Went round the neighbours' house to sit round the bonfire last night and I had a go on their massage chair. it was heaven! I do hope it's ok for pg women!

Brodicea · 31/03/2014 11:04

Ah pamper day sounds goooood.

The health visitor is actually due to visit chez brod this afternoon! No idea what she's going to ask or inspect - will let you know...

Bunnygirlie · 31/03/2014 11:08

Morning all!

Think I overdid it yesterday as feeling crappy today Sad Been sick and have a banging headache. Too much excitement! Also feeling really ratty, everything annoys me, especially DH lol

cats no gender cake for me!

Question, when does second tri start?

Enjoy your trotter manicure boom! How do you get a massage when you can't lie on your front?

jessplussomeonenew · 31/03/2014 11:29

Bunny, loved the reveal story - are you enjoying being official? I think second trimester starts sometime between 12 and 14 weeks depending on who you ask! Personally I decided the first tri ended on my last day of throwing up which was 12+6. Are you starting to feel better?

Enjoy your pamper day, boom!

Not much to report here, feeling comfortable and no longer exhausted, enjoying being able to get outside in the sunshine to garden and play tennis, which feels great after weeks lying on the sofa listening to the rain! Still ekeing out the roomier/stretchier end of my pre-pregnancy wardrobe, though thinking about starting to wear maternity clothes to help me look pregnant rather than paunchy!

Tallyra · 31/03/2014 12:48

I agree bunny, tiredness makes it so much worse. sending you hugs xxx

Tallyra · 31/03/2014 16:15

oh shit oh shit oh shit. Just got my date. It's next week. oh shit.

jessplussomeonenew · 31/03/2014 16:46

Gosh, Tally, I can't imagine what emotions you must be feeling, probably lots simultaneously. Hope happiness at meeting your little one at last comes out on top! Thinking of you....

And at least you have a definite reason to insist on getting all your baby clothes etc back from the grandparents-to-be!

mil is currently helping dh paint the room so she'll get it brought over very soon now. I'm alternately terrified and excited right now...

Foodylicious · 31/03/2014 17:04

Eeek tally EEEEEEEEEEKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PoppySeedBun · 31/03/2014 17:37

eek tally, how exciting!
I know in theory I'm due in the next few weeks, but it must be odd to have a specific date!
So exciting to know when you get to meet your little one, though.
How are you doing?

Tallyra · 31/03/2014 17:38
