I have 39 days left (AND COUNTING) until my planned cs on 11th april

I am fat, fed up, knackered, aching, heartburn-ridden and absolutely DESPERATE for the baby to be out. this will be dc3 and deffo my LAST

anyone else got a similar amount of time left and want a thread where we can share the joys of the final stretch of pregnancy

currently todays bugbear is my needing a wee constantly, which will no doubt keep me up all night again

I've had a few of those Bop - usually In my stress dreams DH says he doesn't want to be with me anymore! Poor chap wakes up to me all sad faced and needy.

Today I've got coffee with the NCT lot (3 out of 5 babies have arrived already!) then I might try & hoover upstairs. Must do my hypno cd!! I keep forgetting!

It was a horrible dream about my dd. I'm over it now.

Raining here today so not going out to park as planned, just been to dd's eye appt and supermarket. I'm going to try to put dd down for a nap and have a sleep myself. Absolutely shattered.

I've got my scan and consultant appointment tomorrow. Looking forward to my apology but if fluids haven't improved they might induce me tomorrow, ahhhhhhhh! So getting all bags packed and house cleaned, toe nails done (always cheers me up to have bright colour on my toes lol) and I've done some 'gardening' (sorry tmi )

So I'm now ready! Have emergency plans in place for dh to get to hospital and childcare for ds.

I want to get a pedicure but they make you take nail polish (and makeup!) off for a cs apparently.
I had a 90 mins snooze earlier and feel better for it. Still don't want to eat at all and I've felt queasy and odd in the belly all day. Hoping it's not the start of labour!!

Ds has his back teeth comingbthrough and is running a bit of a fever. He's just miserable I feel so sorry for him!

Morning. I'm uncomfy too Last, laying down is hard work now, is to it?
My BH stopped thank god. I was starting to mildly panic last night! Repacked my bag, charged up phone etc in case we had to go to hospital!
I have a cleaner coming today. This is exciting for me! Everyone seems to have a cleaner these days but we haven't but the house is filthy and I can't be arsed so dh said "get someone in". Hooray!

Dd is at nursery 8-1 today so I can actually chill. I want to go swimming but feel I look too ridiculously in my swimming costume. Like an egg with legs! Inseam loads last time but I was at a gym so less people around. This time I'd have to go to public pool (which isn't anywhere near as nice) and there'll probably be a class of 11 yo kids there or something. Also I'm struggling to drive now as my hips hurt when I'm in the car. Feel like I'm falling apart.

Oooh about the cleaner. I've asked DH to take the Hoover upstairs for me - that's as close to help I think I'm going to get!

I had been doing lots of swimming too but I'm now busting out of my tankini - I should've got a maternity costume at 30 weeks, it feels too late now. I suppose I could shuffle quickly from the changing room into the pool, but my pooh bear bump poking out is not pretty.

Ooh jealous about the cleaner... Good for you . Lol last, reminds me of the other day when I told dh I had to Hoover upstairs and he said 'ill carry it upstairs for you' like he was my knight in fucking armour or something!

Shit night... Had to go in to ds with calpol at 2.45 and he's been crying out in his sleep ever since! He sat up at 5.45 so I got dressed thinking he was getting up but now he's back asleep! I know I'm being selfish but I really coulda done without it last night!

Sorry gatecrashing this thread just to say glad I'm not the only one with an OH who refuses to watch OBEM!!! So funny!

So I've been given another choice! I've been booked for induction tmrw morning... But I can change my mind at any point and have another scan next week. I've agreed to induction for now but I think it's wrong! I don't trust my consultant! The scan today was great, fluid is now normal and Doppler was perfectly healthy but they wouldn't check growth cos they only do that every two weeks. So cons is still going by last week's scan even though sonographer was struggling to get the right measurements. Because she's not sure baby's healthy, she wants to get it out. Fair enough, that's her job! Problem is I feel wonderful and baby's moving about all the time. I dunno what to do!

Can you compromise and wait until the scan to see if she's grown but have daily monitoring? Its such a hard choice. You obviously want to do the best for your baby but its impossible to know whether letting her bake a bit longer is preferable to having her out and safe but a bit little.

Did your consultant try and push you either way?

Yep she was completely pushing me towards induction! I even said no at one point and she kinda ignored me! I'm gonna turn up in the morning anyway and I rang the hospital to see if I can speak to another consultant first so they've arranged it. I can't see another consultant overriding her but I'll feel much better hearing it fr

From someone else! I really feel like I've been bullied into this but once they keep mentioning the tiny chance of stillbirth, what can ya do? Im really upset about the whole thing... I still don't think she actually even reads my notes! She did apologise for her mess up last week but it was very much 'yep sorry about that'

I'd do the same - definitely ask if you can get a second opinion. Even if they say the same thing at least you'll be more reassured and confident.

I'm going to a sling meet this morning to get some advice - I want to try baby wearing from birth but they're all so expensive!

TBH it's more of an excuse to escape the house and talk to someone other than poor DH who gets pounced on as soon as he walks in... i think I'm getting cabin fever.

It's at ten. I've got poor dh running around doing everything and mil will be here to collect rd in about an hour!

I spent the night in hospital after having strange burning pain. Turns out my liver is not coping well (like last pregnancy). Been on a drip and monitored but baby is happy so hope to go home today.
