Baby still feeling low merk?

boom how did the gymnastics go?

Boomgoestheweasel · 04/03/2014 18:40

I would probably not worry in the absence of any other symptoms, but you could pop into gp tomorrow for bp check?

Bunnygirlie · 04/03/2014 18:44

Hmmmmm an interesting few days of chat about sensitive burgers, crotch massage and acrobatic hippos Shock

Wow merk do you really think its gonna happen soon?!? How exciting and scary!

Jess that's fab! So pleased for you, you must be so relieved! Flowers

Sid I have felt pretty crappy since around 5 weeks till now at nearly 10, midwife said it should get better around 12-16 weeks, gosh I hope it's sooner rather than later for us!

Had a meltdown today, work is getting busy, i just can't concentrate and I'm getting behind which is stressing me out, I ballsed up today and now my boss is annoyed so I had a cry in the loos! Gosh I can't wait to use the it's baby brain or I can't help it I'm pg excuses lol.
Still feeling teary now, nearly cried because DH ate the last ripe banana, am I losing it?!?

Gonna gorge myself on pancakes in a min and see if it helps.

CatsCantFlyFast · 04/03/2014 18:49

Was thinking blood pressure check tomorrow - thanks Boom for putting my mind at rest

Just to add to my history of TMI (and to ensure you newbies know what to look forward to) I am literally pooing 3 times a day at the moment. I assume my intestines are a bit squashed Grin

Baby movements have slowed right down today, again I may be reading into it but hopefully this is a sign.

Haven't finished my batch cooking yet (or packed my bag) so hope it doesn't happen too fast!!

Thunderpantsarego · 04/03/2014 19:05

bunny try not to stress. Hormones+overwhelmedness+tiredness = anything can happen emotionally at the moment! Give yourself a bit of a break and go with it!

Good - go get checked merk. My tmi for the day is having to show my burger to a random male GP. Not fun but at least I got free canesten out of it Hmm

BlindKitty · 04/03/2014 20:02

jess oh that is absolutely fantastic news!!!! Made up for you!

sid I found mine through a groupon deal do praying they won't be crap

bunny I can't believe you're 10 weeks already! That's come around so fast, perhaps not for you though!

merk loving your optimism re popping in less than a week!

Just catching up on obem. Lots of screaming much to the cat's annoyance!

Fab news jess!!!

CatsCantFlyFast · 04/03/2014 21:21

Thunder they needed to see your burger to diagnose thrush???

Thunderpantsarego · 04/03/2014 21:27

They took a swab, merk. I don't know if they check for anything else in pg?

Bunnygirlie · 04/03/2014 21:57

Thanks for the TMI merk and thunder lol

Kitty not quite yet, 10 weeks on Thursday Shock thunder does that make you 38weeks on thurs?

I only managed 3 pancakes for dinner, I can't eat much at the mo before I feel so full!

Thunderpantsarego · 04/03/2014 22:07

It does indeed bunny, we are changeover date buddies at the mo eh? Is foody a Thursday too? Although yours will probably change after your scan...

Bunnygirlie · 04/03/2014 22:32

Wow thunder so as I get to the end of my first trimester fingers crossed ,you may be on your fourth Wink

So February has gone, I was just thinking how 2 years ago in feb I came off the pill, so a year ago I was just getting all the bloods done. Looking at other berry stories I know I have been very lucky with my FC journey, so short compared with some. Something to Smile about.

Tallyra · 04/03/2014 23:02

Another Thursday here too - 34 weeks for me. Had mw appt today and measurements are looking really good and heartbeat very strong. She also thinks baby is head down so although not engaged yet, finally going to the right kind of place makes me happy. I could swear she was transverse a couple of days ago so I'm sure she will change again though.

Fantastic news Jess, you must be so happy!!

BlindKitty · 05/03/2014 06:28

thunder bunny tally I'm your bump buddy too, 29 weeks on thurs!

bunny my friend (the one I told you about on sun) only had her first appt a few months ago and she's already starting icsi

Right so putting my assertive hat on today....I do not want to stay under consultant care...I do not want to stay under consultant care ...I do not want to stay under consultant care Confused

Bunnygirlie · 05/03/2014 08:36

Morning!

Yay the Thursday gang Grin

kitty isn't it weird how quick some NHSs are compared with others. Hope your assertive hat works (I'm picturing a green and purple striped number with cat ears Wink)

Just been reading an article on the daily fail site about a woman who lost 3 babies in the 60s because of her 'dangerous' blood type. Thank god for technology and science, I'm o neg and hubby is positive!!!

Thunderpantsarego · 05/03/2014 09:54

Look at us, the Thursday club!

Nice one on the appointment tally!

Go kitty go kitty go kitty!! Let us know how it goes.

merk - any news? Am I going to totally annoy you on baby watch?

CatsCantFlyFast · 05/03/2014 10:04

Nope, nothing. Have mentally agreed with her that Sunday would be a good day though! How about you?

Thunderpantsarego · 05/03/2014 10:24

And she has definitely agreed with this plan? Nice work with the baby training already!

Nothing here. I tend to have very mild period crampy feelings when I wake up but definitely nothing to write home about. Am aiming for a mental agreement of at least 2 weeks more! You know the 40 weeks thing? Is this based on 12 week scan measurements or on actual duration, do you know? Just cos my dates mean I actually conceived before I'd had sex that month after being moved back 6 days... Hmm

CatsCantFlyFast · 05/03/2014 10:58

40 weeks is average duration but your dates are from the scan I think. I think the reason they don't do it from conception is because implantation and early growth timelines can vary so dramatically. Therefore the scan dates are supposed to be pretty accurate...yours must have been a quick starter! I do remember the dates being odd because your bfp was 4 or 5 days after mine I think

Beautiful sunshine here today, its like summer!

BlindKitty · 05/03/2014 13:14

Chuckling @ thunder's immaculate conception! Man if I'd known you didn't even need to have sex to conceive I wouldn't have wasted my time on countless shag weeks! Grin

So just had a dilemma between going back to the office for a tin of soup or macdonalds...macdonalds won oops!

OP posts:
Thunderpantsarego · 05/03/2014 14:10

Ha- merk surely my bfp being later was due to me testing later?!

Losing 6 days from using LMP definitely meant that I conceived before we'd had sex after af, but I guess they just ignore that and use the dating scan as the most accurate measure. I just wondered about it in case it really meant that my 'due date' might actually naturally be a bit later in case the baby is checking its calendar

Mcdonalds kitty?!

Tallyra · 05/03/2014 15:30

It was all so important to me that my dates were correct at the beginning, and now at the other end I find out that no one really knows how long it's going to be anyway and a difference of a couple if days really doesn't make any difference in the scheme of things. It's quite funny really. I also think the dating from lmp is odd - 2 weeks before you even have sex you're pregnant. Huh???

Thunderpantsarego · 05/03/2014 15:40

Yeah tally, seems like a 5 week window is totally normal for giving birth! Guess it's all done on averages anyway and of course we're all different.

Busy morning here getting loads of useful stuff wrong. Now flopped on the sofa trying to summon energy to keep going!

CatsCantFlyFast · 05/03/2014 15:58

Should we assume you've actually been getting loads of useful stuff done rather than wrong? If you've got it all wrong it might not be that useful after all Grin

Thunderpantsarego · 05/03/2014 16:05

Ha!! Proper laughing now- getting useful stuff wrong!! Certainly getting typing wrong today.

Yes- I meant DONE. d'oh.
