Open to all elderberry grads and anyone who fits the berry criteria: over 30, pregnant with #1 after trying for a loooong time, and nervous as hell. Come on in for handholding and nub theory!

Thunderpantsarego · 18/12/2013 16:11

Hows everyone else today?

Tallyra · 18/12/2013 18:04

tired and angry. I think the rage has finally caught up with me. got home tired and hungry and EVERYTHING was wrong including dh no matter what he did.

Tallyra · 18/12/2013 18:05

how about you?

CatsCantFlyFast · 18/12/2013 18:37

Oh Tally the rage is awful. And inexplicable. It will pass eventually just keep all sharp things out of the way in the meantime Grin
I've had a fairly fruitless Internet search for a 3 Xmas party dresses today. Have ordered some stuff but it all feels a bit old and mumsy. Having said that I did get a dress from
Asos (mamalicious) last week I was v pleased with. I also have a dress that isn't really my thing that is too late to send back... Will put a pic/link up later in case anybody wants it

BlindKitty · 18/12/2013 20:00

tally haven't really experienced it yet although I think I've blamed my down right moodiness on it at times. Do remember my friend telling me she was so mad with pregnancy range that she tried to get out of a moving car!!! Btw she is the most placid person I know!

merk re maternity dresses. I've only found one that fit so far! Bought 2 from asos (supposedly for women of all stages) but one looks like a bin bag (although suspect will look better once I'm bigger) and the other looked like something my nan would have worn to bed!!!

If funky reads this, hope you're ok (well as we'll as expected)

Tallyra · 18/12/2013 20:25

It seems to have left me with an overwhelming tiredness and the urge to curl up in a ball and cry. bah.

CatsCantFlyFast · 18/12/2013 20:27

this is the dress I got I liked. It's flattering and not frumpy

qazxc · 18/12/2013 20:32

funky so very sorry to hear your news. Hope your ok.

I've had a private dating scan today, as i couldn't spend the whole of christmas and new years on tenter hooks. All is well, it actually looks like an alien! it's little hands were up by his head so he looked like "the scream" painting. We saw a heartbeat and he had a little headscratch. The placenta is low lying but they said that at this stage (13 weeks) they aren't worried as it will hopefully move up on it's own accord.

CatsCantFlyFast · 18/12/2013 20:47

Great news Qaz. Ours has looked quite alien like too at times!

Thunderpantsarego · 18/12/2013 22:03

Evening all. Thanks for asking tally I'm still pretty fragile after day off work yesterday due to the return of the bastard headache. Definitely a bit better now.

Sorry to hear about your raging hormones. Go with em I reckon- cry shout etc, embrace it! But don't jump out if aiming car.

merk well done finding a good party dress. I can still squeeze into lots of my old clothes- last weekend I wore a dress I bought over 10 years ago! It's all rather tight with the bump however....

Third trimester today. Can't believe it...

Thunderpantsarego · 18/12/2013 22:04

Oo and great news on the lil alien qaz! Hooray!

CatsCantFlyFast · 18/12/2013 22:52

Thunder hope the head was just a one off. The third tri makes it very real and potentially very soon... I'm burying my head in the sand a bit. Can not believe you can still fit in pre pregnancy clothes... I am v jealous.

Thunderpantsarego · 18/12/2013 23:05

Thanks merk. Oh it's not that soon- there's loads that needs to happen before March!

My bump is pretty big now, I think the clothes is just a reflection on my clothes rather than me? They're mostly stretchy quite baggy types.

How's that breathing? Any word from the docs about it?

merk I bought a similar mat dress although its a body con one so once I'm really big I think it will be too small for me! Have you put up a link to the other dress?

qaz great scan news! When is your actually anomaly scan now?

thunder I can't believe you're in you're 3rd trimester! It seems to have gone really fast

Wish Sunday would hurry up!!!

Brodicea · 19/12/2013 13:55

Hello all, good news from camp brod!

We had the 20 week scan, found all was well after THREE scan attempts (had to walk around, drink a cup of tea, jump about) as baby kept being in the wrong position and would not move no matter how much the sonographer prodded (ouch).

And... it's a girl!

Thunderpantsarego · 19/12/2013 13:58

Ahhh congratulations brod!!

Lovely Thursday news!
