Thanks boom . Kept some toast down, so think I'm ok for now. I'm still taking metformin, so hoping that I won't be too sick so that I can keep taking it up to 12 weeks. We shall see.
How are you? Lovely that you can feel them moving.

Tallyra · 21/12/2013 00:00

Hi charming! That's fantastic news, welcome to the copter!! feeling baby move is the oddest sensation and when you need the loo and baby kicks your bladder, wow Shock but it's so good to be able to tell everything is going well without scanning!

ooh, im missing the excitement! Yay charming welcome!

kitty ignore the stupid girls, I think the same as you, already decided I would prefer only gas and air. I have been looking at hypnobirthing type ideas and have a book called 'mindfull birthing' which is not hypno exactly but similar ideas.

Someone at work was laughing at another pg lady cos she had a hypnobirthing book. just cos she ended up having a Cs.

ignore other ppl...

also jealous of all the baby movement. midwife asked if u had felt any flutters... nooooo!

Thunderpantsarego · 21/12/2013 09:06

Welcome welcome charming!!! Lovely bean news, not so lovely about the nausea but if it weren't there you'd be worrying!

List o'clock?

BlindKitty · 21/12/2013 09:42

puppy tell me more about this mindful birth.... Just told Dh who laughed grrr lol

Re movement, I'd not even really thought about it until the mw mentioned it!

thunder go on then re the list. I'm waiting til tomorrow when I should have more erm info...

BlindKitty · 21/12/2013 09:50

Reposted (and hopefully ladt post removed) due to stupidity! i shouldn't be allowed in here, very sorry!

Very jealous at all the baby movements. 18+4 here so very desperate for something soon!

boom I think you might need a good telling off! You're ridiculously busy so you start making macaroons??!?!? Do what any other self respecting super woman would do and buy some, bash them up a bit and pass them off as your own!

charming great to have you here, was wondering where you'd got to! Fab bean news! It's amazing isn't it?! I literally burst into tears at mine...and then I was like 'I can't believe I'm crying with this camera between my legs', much to the amusement of the nurse haha!

So went to a party last night and had the fear of god put in me by 2 girls that I don't even really know. Made me feel a bit silly about being so idealistic about wanting to breast feed and stick to gas and air at the birth. Know it might not pan out like that but I'm surely ok to give it a try?!

Right, to get up and go shopping or not...?

PuppyMummy · 21/12/2013 10:13

what was wrong with ur last post kitty? I didnt notice anything?!

Not read it yet but its based on a positive thinking to reduce the stress, pain and fear.

There is a cd too I think. I went for this instead if hypno based stuff as this seemed a bit more commonsense and less hypnotherapy based which I was sceptical about!

Ill let u know what I think when I get started on it!

I don't want an epidural but like u say, will hav to see what happens on the day!

Currently im thinking along the lines of - I never thought I could run 10k but I did! and then last yr I did it in a really good time. im hoping I can think myself through giving birth using the same principle!

BlindKitty · 21/12/2013 10:48

puppy I posted 'someone's' rl name! I get mixed up with having the fb group as well!

PuppyMummy · 21/12/2013 11:29

oooh! I see! oh well I didnt notice! Grin

PuppyMummy · 21/12/2013 13:58

hi all. boom is it you who is a midwife?
I hav o negative blood so supposed to hav an anti-d injection if I hav an accident or 'blow' to the bump.
stupid pooch just bounced on me with a paw whilst sat on sofa. she is only small. (cocker) and caught me by the hip but I guess 'edge' of bump.
That doesn't count as a 'blow' does it??

Thunderpantsarego · 21/12/2013 15:05

I'm rhesus neg puppy. Basically the reason for being careful is you need the jab if there's a risk of your blood mixing with baby's. So if it's a trauma that may have caused that, you may need the jab. Does that help? Call mw if you're at all concerned x

PuppyMummy · 21/12/2013 15:28

thanks thunder. I can't decide if it's 'trauma'! I would think not but then I'm worried incase it is! how hard would something hav to be to be considered 'trauma'? I won't get midwife on phone on a sat I don't think...

Thunderpantsarego · 21/12/2013 15:30

Give it a try I reckon- better safe than sorry and it'll put your mind at ease?

PuppyMummy · 21/12/2013 15:42

no midwife to be had on a sat. hav to ring maternity unit if I want one...
can't decide if im being dramatic or not, don't want to waste their time...

PuppyMummy · 21/12/2013 15:55

decided better to ring. Spoke to nice midwife she said it sounded fine and prob nothing to worry about if there is no pain or bleeding (there isnt). PHEW!

Bad puppy makin me worry!
thanks for the advice thunder I do feel better now I hav checked

BlindKitty · 21/12/2013 16:30

puppy glad the mw put your mind at rest

Thunderpantsarego · 21/12/2013 17:18
