hi ladies, I haven't checked the thread for a while: stomach bug, relatives visiting, pre-Christmas rush (and stress) I've missed so much!
booty and choc many congratulations on the arrival of your babies! Great names, I hope you're all doing well!
pig, emki, tom and blue great scan news!
medusa glad the operation went well, you must be back home now?
ickle I truly hope it's not what you fear - thinking of you.
anglo I hope you had good news at your 20-week scan
baking I'm so excited to hear you're 16 weeks now, I remember you leaving the thread a few months ago and now you're nearly half way through your pregnancy - so happy for you!
santa yay for being off work! Hopefully not long for you now - same for black
pixie Elsie's doing well, thanks for asking! Annoyingly enough, DD1 is making me more tired than the baby...for some reason she doesn't want to sleep lately (I'm sure it has to do with the baby's arrival), someone has to be in the room with her when she goes to bed and she wakes up in the middle of the night wanting cuddles. But other than that she's lovely and very excited about Christmas, just like your DD! Did you say yours is 3 yrs old? Mine will be 3 at the beginning of February. How is your pregnancy coming along? Are you feeling OK?
alice, I had heard DD1's heartbeat at my 16-week appointment but this time we didn't hear DD2's at 16 weeks. Needless to say, it caused me a great deal of stress and I wished I hadn't asked the midwife to look for it. I had an anterior placenta both times but with DD1 it was low while with DD2 high, which probably blocked the sound
saggy what a crap sonographer, you have every right to be annoyed. I hope you get some answers when you speak to the screening midwife
polka all the best for your scan on Xmas eve. I'm sure you'll have good news and one more reason to celebrate this Christmas.
kjh glad the physio appointment has helped and you're feeling a lot better
a big welcome to our newbies and good luck with your move back to Australia aly
hi to everyone else
