Yay for more thread babies!! Congrats choc and booty! Awesome news! Big love! Xxx

IBelieveInPink · 19/12/2013 06:12

Congratulations choc! And booty! Fab to see the babies still popping, do come find us in the grads thread!

Hope everyone else is surviving, keep going, it's all worth it in the end (despite the ridiculous o clock marathon feeds, nipple agony and explosive poos). Remember today you are pregnant. X

BlackholesAndRevelations · 19/12/2013 06:13

massive congrats to booty and chocolate on the arrival of Joss and Sofia!

emki great scan news!

tomkat so pleased to hear it went well. hope that gave you a massive boost on a sad day. This baby is going to redeem all those dates for you.

Bakingtins · 19/12/2013 07:31

alice try not to worry. My MW said she officially wasn't supposed to look for HB at 16 weeks as it could be difficult to pick up and cause unnecessary anxiety so v surprised your MW tried at 13.

Swangirl · 19/12/2013 07:38

Congratulations to booty and chocolate on the births of your babiesGrin Grin Thanks Thanks

alyant79 · 19/12/2013 08:49

congrats booty and choc! loving the fast labour stories.
great that the op went well yesterday missm I hope everything is still going good.

yay ickle and tomkat for great scans.

too nervous to add myself to the stats list just yet. no panic attack yesterday so things are improving mentally :)

icklemssunshine · 19/12/2013 09:00

Congratulations on the news of these thread babies! What happy news, will make this Christmas even more special!

aly, I know what you mean. Don't want to add myself either, not until the dating scan at least. According to the due date calculator my EDD is 7/8/14 but it seems so far away that a lot could happen in that time. After yesterday's good news I've gone back to doubting, especially as I don't feel that sick today. Aaargh! Why is every day such a worry?!!

blueskies19 · 19/12/2013 11:52

hi all

congrats on the babies - that's wonderful - really happy for you all :)
many congrats on the great scans too - really pleased for everyone - I was keeping my fingers crossed for you all

I had my scan yesterday which I was petrified about but I was SO relieved and delighted to see a heatbeat and a little bean and am 7 + 1 which seems to fit in with my dates - I just was walking on the clouds yesterday with happiness :)

I think we sound about similar dates ickle and I too after having felt very sick up until the scan am sick free today! Am hoping its just a blip as even tho its horrible feeling so sick it is reassuring

I am over the moon to have had a good scan after having three early mcs and a preg of unknown location with suspected ectopic it really was so very lovely for me to get this lovely scan - I think the sonpgrapher thought I was a bit crazy as I couldnt stop saying thank you thank you and didnt ask any of the right questions I was so just too elated and beaming like a chesire cat! The DH has after weeks of telling me to to stop being so mopy and worried has now told me to stop being so elated - can't win!

BlackholesAndRevelations · 19/12/2013 12:14

Great news blueskies! Very happy for you Grin

Bit disappointed after my sweep though as I'm nowhere near giving birth! Feel incredibly emotional and tearful at the mo too. Boo!

pumpkinsweetie · 19/12/2013 12:47

Congratulations Booty on the birth of sofiaSmileThanksThanksThanks

And congratulations to chocolate on little joss, how speedy, hope you manage to get some restSmileThanksThanksThanks

Coming up to 38 weeks this Sunday, getting very uncomfortable now and hoping she arrives near her due date, as my other dc were all overdue!

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 19/12/2013 14:55

Well done Choc and Booty. Smile Two more lovely thread babies to prove that we can all get there in the end! Grin

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 19/12/2013 15:03

I've just been for a 28 week growth scan. I am seriously something, I'm not sure if it's frustrated, annoyed, upset or what!
Got on the bed, didn't get to see the screen, got given no clue as to what they were looking at, was asked if I was seeing anyone after this? but got a shrug of the shoulders when I said no, heard "kidneys look...." but got no answer when I asked "well? how do they look?"
Left with the comment that head and femur are average but the abdominal circumference is above the 97th centile, with no clarification and a large sense of frankly being ignored! Sad Angry
Sad
I didnt even get the picture I requested. Sad

alyant79 · 19/12/2013 15:06

oh blueskies that's great scan news. hooray!

lucyfluff i'm 5 weeks tomorrow and have been feeling quite crampy too. it's so worrying!
I tried on some clothes of mine last night and they were way too tight around the waist - i don't think I can blame a 5 week old bean though and just have to admit that i've been eating too many mince pies Blush

alyant79 · 19/12/2013 15:07

oh saggy how frustrating! is there someone that you can complain to?

pumpkinsweetie · 19/12/2013 15:08

Oh saggy that's awful Sad. I hope there is nothing wrong, it sounds like the sonographer was very rude not explaining things to you! It maybe just that baby is slightly bigger than average x

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 19/12/2013 15:40

I can speak to the screening midwife who gave me her direct number, and I will do when I have myself back together. Im sure I'm just being irrational. I just came away wondering if I actually needed to be in the room! Hmm
I think the answer is probably that I have gestational diabetes, I had to cancel my GTT which was meant to be first thing this morning, and its being done at the beginning of January.
I just feel, probably unreasonably, that given the situation and the worry we have already been through, a little reassurance, and possibly some effort to actually communicate might be nice. Sad

lucyfluff · 19/12/2013 16:01

Aly - We are due date twins!!! yay Smile oh dont worry I ate a whole box of mince pies last week! I need to put on weight though so glad im stuffing my face for once!

Been feeling sicky too today :( hope it dosent get much worse.
