I'm good thanks, lucy I had my 16 week midwife appt today and heard a nice strong HB straight away. Smile

kjh5 · 18/12/2013 11:30

Yay Choc! How exciting! Fx for a smooth delivery for you :)

Haven't had time to go through the thread properly but hoping MissM's procedure goes well and everything is ok with her bubba xxx

Just wanted to say to the other back pain/PGP sufferers on here: get referred to a physio. In my experience it so worth it! After a week of no sleep and - at the worst point last night - not actually being able to walk, I finally saw a physio on the NHS this morning and I'd just like to say she was fab! Gave me a lovely massage to ease the worst of the pain and some really helpful stretches an other exercises to do before I go to bed AND she's seeing me on Xmas eve for more massage and to see how I'm getting on so I don't suffer too much over Christmas. How lovely is that? I definitely feel she was way better than the physio I saw privately...

Will catch up on thread in a bit but hoping everyone else is doing ok xx

MissMedusa · 18/12/2013 16:11

Just a quick check in from the hospital to say that the operation went well and baby is still alive and kicking. The next 48 hours are critical to see if I go into labour. I should be let out in 3 days if all goes well.

Bakingtins · 18/12/2013 16:14

Good news MissM hope the next few days are v uneventfull. Hang tight in there, baby!

icklemssunshine · 18/12/2013 16:15

Crossing my fingers for you miss. Really hope it's successful.

My scan revealed a heartbeat and they said the baby is right size for its age. I thought 6+6, they said more like 6+4 at 7 1/2mm. They think they couldn't see anything last time as I have a tilted uterus. Such a relief!

ChristineDaae · 18/12/2013 16:18

Oh miss and ickle! I'm so happy and relieved for you both! Have checked in a few times today to see if there was any news.
Miss I will be keeping my fingers for a very successful next 48 hours

Bootyluscious · 18/12/2013 16:22

Congratulations booty well done! Fantastic news!

MissM glad to hear all went well - will keep everything crossed for you - and I'm sure its all going to be fine.

Great scan news ickle

I had another reassurance scan today and all was well - they just checked there was a strong heart beat and I said to myself that if all went well today then I will start to be positive - I'm now 17 wks - just 3 weeks till the 20 wk scan, which is a big hurdle for me as this is when I mc last year - but I'm feeling confident that all will be fine this time.

Sending lots of posifrickingtivity to all those pre dating scan ladies - keep saying 'I am pregnant today' Flowers

GuffSmuggler · 18/12/2013 20:02

Fantastic scan news ickle so pleased for you.

Glad your op went ok missm sounds very stressful Sad

And congrats booty - another thread baby, horray!!

alicebear · 18/12/2013 20:08

Congratulations booty great news.

Great scan news too ickle you must be delighted.

Glad the procedure went well missm fingers crossed it's done the trick.

We tried to hear the heartbeat at my booking appt today. My midwife warned me we might not get anywhere as I'm only 13 wks but I asked her to have a go. We didn't hear the heartbeat but did hear what sounded a lot like a kick. She couldn't think of anything else that could have made such a sound so I'm trying to be reassured by that rather than worry about the lack of heartbeat. Kind of wish we hadn't tried now but was just hoping for reassurance & we did hear DD's heartbeat well at 13 wks so was hoping for the same.

Hopefully will get a nice strong heartbeat in 3 wks time at my next appt.

Hope everyone else is doing OK.

Evening all

Have been laying v low for past few weeks convinced that all had gone totally tits up and I didn't want to bring down this thread with my woes. I'm usually a very chilled out person but this pregnancy is making me neurotic!

Anyway, anomaly scan today revealed a perfect little team pink baby. Maybe now I can relax and enjoy the next 4/5 months.

Lovely to see so many newbies on here, wishing you very a very dull 9 months. So sorry to read things didn't work out fedup. Glad the op went well missm. Great scan news ickle and huge congratulations on the birth of your little girl booty!

16 weeks already baking Grin

Lovely to be back xx

Tomkat79 · 18/12/2013 20:43

Oh and alice am v surprised to hear that your MW attempted to hear the heartbeat so early. Most won't until 16 weeks + if at all, I'm sure she'll have more luck at your next appointment xx

Chocolateteabag · 18/12/2013 23:57

Quick one from me - Joss arrived very quickly at 11.57am today (only got to hospital at 10.20!) 7lbs7oz - lighter than his brother.
Managed to get home by 7pm so DS1 has met him which went really well.

He has already scared me stiff by having a choking fit on his mucus (I forgot that they have to cough a lot up and that this can happen) now snuggling in bed and trying to remember what we are supposed to do with him!
