Open to all elderberry grads and anyone who fits the berry criteria: over 30, 1st to early 2nd trimester(ish) with #1 after trying for a loooong time, and nervous as hell. Come on in for handholding and nub theory!

Tallyra · 31/10/2013 12:32

I didn't wake up for the loo last night! which is just as well as I'm back ay work for the first time since July today. not much to do now I've cleared my emails though, my colleague is so good at doing my job as well as hers I feel a bit surplus! I'm sure she'll be glad when I take the work back though.

Still in full zombie mode, DP doesn't mind as it means he gets to watch whatever he wants on telly. Grin
Have my trick or treat stash at the ready, am sneakily hoping that not that many kids show up because i am constantly hungry and might need to scoff a few of those milky ways
Have been feeling a bit queezy today, not sure if it's morning sickness or the incessant gorging mentioned above. Blush
No swinging from the chandelers here, DP is "too afraid" to do the deed.

BlindKitty · 31/10/2013 18:06

qaz I've been working my way through the trick or treaters stash all week! It's taken dh and I 3 months to start up the sex life as we were both scared (and sick to f*ing death of dtd for 2 1/2 years) but feeling much better about it now

boom I think you deserved the croissant / having dogs walked in view of mr boom's bad mood the other day!

puppy are you back? Have you had a good hol?

qazxc · 31/10/2013 18:11

Aha my trick or treat stash has grown! DP is back from work and works in a cash and carry, we now have enough sweets to keep all kids on the estate bouncing of the walls for a month! Grin

BlindKitty · 31/10/2013 18:22

qaz no one has even knocked yet (thank god)

qazxc · 31/10/2013 18:27

DP seems miffed that nobody has knocked yet and is contemplating texting our mates down the street to ask them to bring their kids up. Hmm

BlindKitty · 01/11/2013 06:30

kat I think we're just so pleased we've got over it all! Oh and 'everything but' is better anyway Wink

puppy pre-insemination we were banned from dtd (in case they overstimulate). The nurse laughed when she saw how relieved we were haha! Hope you're having a fab time!

CatsCantFlyFast · 01/11/2013 08:47

Urgh, am shattered this morning despite going to bed at 9.30. Can't face the day and not sure how I'm going to survive 7 hours back to back of meetings. Have decided to work from home but haven't even managed to make it out of bed yet. Roll on 5pm when I am going straight to bed for more sleep! If anyone sees the book/midwife that said energy my levels would be higher in the second tri then please give them a slap

Tallyra · 01/11/2013 09:30

oh honey, I'm with you too. just had breakfast and got back into bed cos I was too cold, woke up an hour later and had to run out of the house to make my mw appt.

qazxc · 01/11/2013 09:48

our friends down the street arrived unprompted. their youngest is too young for choc (only a month old) but their two year old has walked away with as much crisps and sweets as she could carry. Grin
We then had a few more knocks at the door but still seem to have as much chocolate as willy wonka. Sadly i can't eat it as morning sickness has surfaced, which perversely i am quite enjoying as it makes me feel "more pregnant" IYKWIM. Am getting really impatient for the scan on monday now.

qazxc · 01/11/2013 09:50

merkin I feel your pain with the tiredness, i count the hours til i can crawl back into bed but then have such weird dreams i keep waking.

BelissimaLol · 01/11/2013 11:10

I was the same with the tiredness. Dh loved it as he had a few weekends of constant xbox playing while I dozed off! Enjoy it until the insomnia kicks in Grin

CatsCantFlyFast · 01/11/2013 11:10

Gave in (to laziness) and have take the day off... Have got 2 meetings I have to run at 11.30 and 2 but other than that I will be sleeping and eating hula hoops

Tallyra · 01/11/2013 11:24

Yay! 16w mw appt done. no problems. and nuchal prob came back as 1:10124. Grin
having a good look at my noted and see as I'm down as high risk tho.

OP posts:
CatsCantFlyFast · 01/11/2013 12:19

Good news Tally. Why are you high risk? Did you get your flu jan btw?

Foodylicious · 01/11/2013 12:49

Thats a bit confusing Tally? good result but high risk - do they say why?

Also has anyone else been almost permanently congested? Its like i have a cold the entire time!

qazxc · 01/11/2013 12:49

Ah happy your scan went well tallyra

Tallyra · 01/11/2013 13:23

I think I'm high risk because of the mcs and hyperemesis, as it was in there before those results came back.

OP posts:
Tallyra · 01/11/2013 13:23

yes, flu jab done last week. then I went and got a horrible cold that's only just going away.
