He doesn't have dementia but he's elderly enough to get away with it 
. However, did almost get groped by a patient with dementia a few months back. I stupidly didn't notice there was an 'alert' on the system that said he had a track record of it! Fortunately, I can move quickly!

ooohhh lovely new shiny thread! This weekend I shall mainly stockpile chocolate for trick or treaters and then hide at Halloween so that i can scoff the lot myself.

Stoooopid drunken dh woke me up snoring, burping, darting and kicking last night. So much for my lie in. Just in spare bed now with the cat, trying for another 40 winks but think I'm too hungry to sleep now!

Morning all - what a lovely shiny new thread! Though can't believe we're on the second page already 
I've missed loads, so in no particular order:
tally it's so nice to hear what you're eating - sounds like you've really turned the corner. Sorry to hear you have a cold. I had one a couple of weeks ago, and it did seem to linger longer, especially the cough, as I'm producing so much phlegm anyway (sorry, TMI)
foody yes, 'morning' sickness is definitely weird. There seems to be little rhyme or reason. Just when I think I've got it figured out, something unexpected happens. Thought I was over it last week but then had a total relapse at the weekend. However, have even steadily improving since Weds so hoping now (14 wks) it might be behind me.
On other symptoms, I've been breathless for weeks, so have been walking much more slowly, and having to pause between flights of stairs - embarrassing but necessary.
The worst of it was that our sweet Health & Safety officer at work sat me down when he found out and said that because of the increased risk of fainting, I should be telling someone every time I go to the loo, so that if I collapse, someone can come and find me 
Needless to say, I haven't been doing that - sometimes that's the only peace and quiet in the day!
OTOH, I'm not having to deal with potential groping at work 
DH came back from a work trip to New York this morning, and brought doughnuts all the way from a shop there that we visited in the summer. He's very proud of himself - not so much brownie points as doughnut points
