Hi everyone,

This thread is for all you incessant worriers out there, not necessarily limited to IVF-ers, although I get the feeling the people who have had trouble TTC are more prone to worrying than others!

ooh dildals what are you having done at the beautician? I was gonna go for a hair cut on ml, kip came early, and now I suspect I'll never have time to ho again.

in boob news mine have still not settled down. when dtd yesterday dh was keen on them but I was having none of it. they are a) huge and needing constant encasing. b) no longer sexual objects. s'that weird?

Nokkie73 · 20/12/2013 11:53

With my black pelvis keep ? I shall try my very best Grin

onions just laughed like a drain at your headscarf/vodka scenario. You are a funny lady

sweetie blimey - that's a bit of a reaction to high BP. I hope you are ok. The twinnies are super cute ! Has it sunk in yet ?!

MrsHY1 · 20/12/2013 14:13

Oh crisps that sounds horrid, I hope you and the girls are through the worst of it. Have I spelled worst right? Doesn't look right. Baby fucking brain! Have also been laughing out loud at bucket fannies, ethnic pelvises and poos with names. I'm also a bit bunged up in the number 2 dept and have also been chugging the lactulose. In fanny news, my small 2nd degree tear seems to have healed but I have been left with a small 'skin tag' poking out of my wotsit. Midwife asked if it had been there before, no it hadn't. She said if it bothers me I could get it lasered off, but I think I might keep it as a little memento of my home hippie hypnobirth and call it Gloria. DH might have other ideas though. Dildals, where is this baby friendly beautician of which you speak?
Noks- when are you actually due? Shazz- enjoy your time avec parentes. Glad you are feeling well. An Improvement, no?

Dildals · 20/12/2013 14:37

Jeezus Christ crisps I just sent you a PM. How awful. Looking at your child with a vent is horrible. I know what you mean, they don't look like your baby. I hate Bella's photos of her with the vent in. I think every parent that has been in hospital with their baby/ies dreads having to be re-hospitalised. And then to have them in 2 different hospitals plus a healthy child at home. It is just a complete and utter mindfuck. Wishing you lots of strength ...

I went to the neonatal unit yesterday to drop off a christmas card (no chocolates, the fuckers get shedload of chocolates during this time of year and I want them working, not munching chocolates, nattering at the desk!!! ;-)). There was this tiny teeny baby there that had been discharged but still coming back for appts. She was SO SMALL I just couldn't stop looking at her she was SO CUTE. I think I am broody.

Then I also bumped in to one of the midwives. She still remembered me! Twas nice to have a little chat. Anyway.

Shazzamattazzerly · 20/12/2013 22:18

Crisps. Oh my goodness. I'm thinking of you all. You are right, it seems to be never ending difficulty but you and your girls are strong and will pull through. Fingers crossed nancy will make a speedy recovery. Thank you for advising me when you are having such an awful time. Loads of love.

Onion I choked on my white middle class gluten free mueseli about your turnip digging, vodka swilling, head scarf wearing yoni!

Noks my sister in jaws (thanks crisps for brilliant nickname) arrives on Monday. Hmm I hope your yoni is super efficient and pops out the nipper in time for the queens speech.

Sweets your twinnies are super cute. Are you feeling ok?

Gin how are you this morning? How was the first night at home?

Keep congrats on your well deserved award. Smile

Dildals did DH behave himself last night or did he get your leopard print dressing gown out again Wink
MrsH how are you getting on? Does the skin tag Gloria hurt?

Hello to everyone else. I hope you are all ok.

We didn't have a good night here. I was sixes and sevens being out of my environment and wasn't happy. I had to change shazlett on the bathroom floor and at 4.30am she decided to do a poo whilst being changed and it went all over the floor and her clothes. I felt uncomfortable cause I'm used to feeding in my glider chair and changing on the changing table. By morning I was sobbing and begging to go home. It sounds dramatic but I just wanted to be back in my comfort zone.

We have since decamped to my parents room which is bigger and we can set ourselves up better. turns out they have a changing top for the travel cot so that's also more comfortable for me. And I'm using my dads computer chair for feeding.

I feel bad for crying over something so stupid when Crisps is having such an awful time. I'll pull myself together.

Xx

MotorcycleMama · 21/12/2013 12:03

Nokkie73 · 21/12/2013 16:47

Grin. How are you buzz ? You been quiet. What sort of pelvis do you have ?

Buzzybee123 · 21/12/2013 17:00

not much to say, I have a bloody sore pelvis at the moment due to suspected SPD, have stolen some crutches from work Grin I do have good child bearing hips wide arse but due to low lying placenta won't get to test them out.

I am sorting out the nursery tomorrow while Barry visits his mother :) hae just ordered some more jumbo knickers from M&S,

How are you when not being a tease Grin

OP posts:
Shazzamattazzerly · 21/12/2013 17:00

Noks! You are very naughty. Come on. Tempt the nipper out with a trail of maize based snacks Grin

Crisps I'm so glad you have your family together all supporting little Nancy. Fingers crossed you will all be home soon. Much love to you all.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. Buzzy you have been v quiet. I hope you have enjoyed first week of mat leave. And ceara you finished yesterday didn't you? We are getting ready for the next wave of babies. So exciting!

Shazzamattazzerly · 21/12/2013 17:05

Hello buzz we cross posted. Sorry bout sore pelvis. Bummer. My humungous panties also come from M&S. I went for the cotton with Lycra and they are, quite frankly, the comfiest knickers I have ever worn. Why did I ever wear thongs?Wink

Buzzybee123 · 21/12/2013 18:06

shazza I found the first week boring Hmm although couldn't have physically worked, I can't really join in the baby/feeding chat as I don't have a baby, did catch up with my NCT girls and got to snuggle one of the babies, I couldn't believe how relaxed they were.

OP posts:
Nokkie73 · 21/12/2013 20:07

I am ok ta buzzfuzz. A bit uncomfortable but in good spirits. I do find not being able to to go far from the house/hospital a bit of a pain in the butt cheeks but hey oh, it's not for long. 39 weeks today so the nipper will defo be here within the next three weeks. Sorry to hear you've been in the wars with SPD. I hear that sucks cockage.

Massive pants are the future. I bloody love mine and don't want to wear thongs ever again you should be so lucky lardy bum

shazza have things settled down at The olds ? I hope so. Xx

keepitgoing · 21/12/2013 20:46

buzz are you having a c section then? do you have placenta previa or just low? BTW my painful pelvis which I think was SPD got better immediately after birth.

Ginestas · 21/12/2013 20:50

Just popping in quickly to offer crisps some massive hugs. Poor little Nancy. It sounds like she is doing well, but it seems totally unfair to have to go through this, on top of all the ivf worrying. Lots of loves. I'm thinking of you and your family xx
