Isn't it amazing that this tiny bean will change so much in just a few weeks? Blows my mind!

Stred come on in & introduce yourself....

Thundercatsarego · 02/10/2013 08:40

No headache and no vomiting this morning. I almost feel human! Please let this be the start of my bloom....

CatsCantFlyFast · 02/10/2013 08:55

FX for your bloom thunder. I meanwhile am working from home, and sitting on the sofa trying to find the energy to tie my hair back for the vomiting session i can feel approaching in the next 5 mins.

How is everybody else getting on? Do we need an updated list?

Boomgoestheweasel · 02/10/2013 08:58

Thundercatsarego · 02/10/2013 09:06

Oh no merk I was hoping you were going to day that your suspected bloom the other night was here to stay. I guess it may be a gradual process? I won't count my chickens....

Hi stred, what's your name and where'd 'you come from? (Cilla style)

Tallyra · 02/10/2013 13:58

hi stred, what's up?

my sickness is still hanging around. still sitting around all day watching daytime tv with a bowl next to me. sick pay is worrying me a bit, but I don't actually know what I'm being paid because work posted the payslip without a blooming stamp and I'm not buying 1.50 of stamps just for that. I should log on to my account and check but I can't bring myself to switch the computer on. I'm so lucky mum is a retired gp so she can nursemaid me.

BlindKitty · 02/10/2013 17:54

boom I have a video as well of its little heart beating!

merk really didn't expect to cry though! Sorry you're feeling pants again. Sure 2nd trimester blooming isn't too far away

tally you just concentrate on getting better. Hope you're feeling better soon

Maybe it was just a flying visit from stred

grainofrice · 02/10/2013 18:25

Stred under a new name!!

Hello everyone!!! I think I'm 6 weeks pregnant!! Currently waiting on a dating scan which will, hopefully be next week! First time, nervous, excited & scared in equal measure. Currently living off any nutrient deficient bread product and lemonade!!

grainofrice · 02/10/2013 18:26

stred
Sorry flew off to work!! I'm down in Cornwall!!!

grainofrice · 02/10/2013 18:37

Decided to change my nickname to grainofrice as it's the current size of our little one! Other name was a bit bor-ing.....

So my story- period was regular as clockwork every 31 or 32 days, then in August it was a week late. Test after test came negative- I was convinced I was pregnant. Then suddenly I was bleeding and the Dr suspected we had fertilised an egg but it hadn't implanted. I was devastated, but had to put on my big girl pants as less than 48 hrs later we jetted off to Turkey for a fortnight.

When we got back I thought I'd best do a quick test to make sure everything was as it should be. I poas and a single solitary line appeared so I shoved it back in the box and got on with things.....but then AF was not 31 days, nor 32 so off I trotted to poas again and TWO lines appeared!!! And when I pulled the old test out of the box it had two lines too!!!! So now we don't know what that was in August and how far along I am.... I suspect 6 weeks but am happy to have a cheeky scan to see my little grain of rice......

PoppySeedBun · 02/10/2013 18:55

Such a lot to catch up on here! Have been off sick again today as I seem to have caught a cold, which has added dizziness, headache and runny nose to my already stellar list of pregnancy symptoms - yay! Confused

Welcome grain - so exciting after an up and down summer! Good luck for your scan.

kat so pleased for your great news! Must feel such a relief to make it over the 12wk line. Only a week away from my 12 wk too.

tally glad things are improving for you, though sorry it hasn't relented. And after today, I can sympathise with being subjected to daytime TV Smile

merk I wasn't sure about finding out the sex, but DH wants to know and I'm coming around to the idea of finding out and being able to get excited about another little piece of information.

thunder hope your bloom is here to stay. It's giving me hope - currently convinced that all my symptoms will last to 20 40 weeks Sad

BlindKitty · 02/10/2013 19:16

grain what a lovely surprise for you! I had my first scan yesterday (6+6) and you could see the heart beating Smile

poppy guess your immune system is weaker because of the pregnancy. Hope you're feeling better soon
