Welcome ladies, new and old. Grin May we all have dull and boring pregnancies. Pull up a chair, crack open a bottle of (non-alcoholic) wine and settle in for mutual handholding, fishslapping and neurosis.

omri and christine yay for your good scans!! christine I agree with everyone else, most probably the bleeding was triggered by constipation or all the prodding you had during your 2 scans today. I'm sure the baby's fine!

fod welcome and congratz! 11+2 - you've crossed that first goal post, no? (12 week scan can be from 11 till 13+ weeks, if I'm not mistaken?)

santa I think 23 weeks is too early to feel regular movements - I certainly didn't; but as ibip said you can ask to get checked by a midwife, they will not turn you down

gary eek!!! Just admit it, you've missed us and want to be back on the wagon Wink Now seriously, I think you're OK, aren't periods a bit all over the place after giving birth? I may be wrong though, I breastfed exclusively for 9 months and didn't get my period till DD was 10 months - so, definitely not an expert!

Great for the good scans omri & christineSmileSmile

santa I'm sure everything is well but i would get checked out to set your mind to rest x

garyShockGrin joining the wagon again maybe! x

Welcome to all the newbies, congratulations on your pregnanciesThanks

Feeling pants tonight, got diarrhea and tummy ache, think it's stress related tbh, not been a good week re dcs bad behaviour and 2 trips to a & e in a week for dd3 for cutting leg open at beach & dd4 getting her fingers shut in the back door by 7yo dd2! Tonight they are on their best behaviour, just aswell really the way i'm feelingSad can't keep off the loo.

Fod! - lovely to see you here and congratulations on BfP and scan!

Christine - with DS I often had little bleeds after a big No2 - thinner cervical lining/ small erosions. If it stopped soon after then fx that what it was. But doesn't mean you don't panic like crazy

Kjh - don't try to push through any nausea when exercising, you'll proabably end up passing out instead. Early on it's a hormone which contributes to breathlessness, then We have more blood in our bodies and our hearts have to pump harder to get it all round. I kept on with Zumba and power Pilates til 14-15 weeks, but my SPD is now way too bad to contemplate it. No squats for me until eviction time, and then I'm not sure!

Tom my smear letter came just before my booking in apt, Mw made a note on my file when I booked in to delay until after birth.

Great scan news Omri, Christine & Fod!

Good luck for today thunder!

Pumpkin sounds like a very hectic week. Here's hoping the weekend is less eventful.

After my bump size worries earlier this week I'm now wearing my maternity trousers or jeans which are so comfy. I'm struggling for loose tops for work so ordered 2 from jojomamanbebe but they are huge and more for 7 months plus than 4! Anyone got any tips for maternity tops for 4 month bloat bumps? Or am I better just looking for normal size loose style tops at this stage?

Morning all. Welcome back some old faces :) great news in recent scans and all the best to those coming up. Immstillnaround but find it really hard to keep up with the pace of this thread on my phone and can't name check very well so big apologies. Hope you don't mind the occasional post ad I have found a lot of support here. 29 weeks today! Had a Nast cold thing and felt so rottin last 3 days. Wish could take something for it!
With regards to earlier pregnancy wear I got some gypsy style tips from sainsburys which have served well. Just got one size up and very stretchy and can still fit in it now. Can layer with a longer sleeve top or vest underneath for warmth if needed although my office and body temp are boiling so they perfect!

Morning all, no more signs of blood thank god, so I'm putting it down to te number2. Baby is wriggling away nicely :)
Fod I remember you from the TTc thread, nice to see you over here.
Ormi, glad your scan news was good.
Back to the posifrkinitivity - 20 weeks scans are bloody amazin!! My one with DD, the sonographer basically went, 'here's baby,' then silence fir about 10 min, and said everything measuring fine off you go, only to be followed with 'the call' from the doc the next day. This time round, wow! It couldn't have been more different.
The lady went through EVERYTHING as she was doing it, pointed out lungs/kidneys/bowel/showed us baby's face, even the lens of the eyes! It was amazing, and I left feeling soooo reassured this time round might just possibly be drama free.
I'm sorry I'm on iPad and can't scroll for name, but doesn't someone have a private scan today? Good luck!!

Christine midwife told me the only time you need to worry about bleeding is when it's bright red, heavy and accompanied by cramps. Everything else is normal.

Hi Fod nice to see you over here from the TTC thread!

So I've just had private scan and baby is still there with a heart beat (159bpm) but she said it was measuring 7+1 which is what thy told me on Monday at the EPU Hmm - so I was expecting it to be 7+6. She did say that an external sonogram is not as accurate as an internal one and DH has pointed out the bean measured 10.3mm on Monday and now it's 11.1... I don't need to worry do I? Angry with myself for not feeling as reassured as I hoped I'd be!

We always have to have something to worry abut kjh!

I struggled to find something to wear this morning. My normal casual wear are jeans which are too uncomfortable now. I managed to dig out some old trousers which I don't normally wear as the waistband had stretched but they work well at the moment. All being well at the scan on Wednesday I'm going to be straight down the shops afterwards.

And hello to Fod.

Righty have just run over to the TTC thread for a self administered fish slapping. I realise I'm being silly. I just saw a healthy heartbeat twice in five days. DH has bought me a lovely breakfast and is about to take me shoe shopping for the wedding next week Shock

More importantly TODAY WE ARE PREGNANT - I think it's about time I added myself to tr stats

Hi Everyone, just wated to add myself - was over on the ttc thread before but only really at weekends as crazy busy in the week. Lovely seeing lots of familiar names on here! I'm 9+3 now and have seen the baby at 9 weeks looking fine, still very worried though - even today have had periody pains still and earlier some odd orangy (I think slightly blood stained?) discharge. Next scan will be at 11 weeks so trying to hold on...

Thunder WOW!! That pic is amazing, I can't believe that's a proper little baby in there. I'm just looking at the pics we got this morning and all you can see is a white blob, it is hard to believe that in five weeks we'll be looking at a fully-formed baby inside there (how's that for posifrckintivity?!) I'm really happy your scan went well. Thinking of you Tea for yours tomorrow. Was anyone else having one this weekend?

Fod is it your lower back? I always found that a hot water bottle was really good for that and - funnily enough - exercise, really helps with mine x
