Welcome ladies, new and old. Grin May we all have dull and boring pregnancies. Pull up a chair, crack open a bottle of (non-alcoholic) wine and settle in for mutual handholding, fishslapping and neurosis.

Thank you ladies. It's just starting to sink in now, but I am knackered after all the stressing this morning!

So maybe I will stop lurking and be a bit more present on the thread now. Or maybe the fear will return tomorrow!

thunder! Congratulations! That is one fantastic picture Grin, yes come and join in. As you already know, we are all lovely :)

I think i have budged the baby (hanging upside down off the sofa) i have been feeling more movement down below but i'm now freaked out that i might have tiny feet kicking me in the cervix. I am super crap at working out which way round she is.

Fod I think the back ache is pretty common, everything is adjusting in there and you start putting extra pressure on it xxx

welcome fod and blackberry Smile hope you both have healthy and happy pregnancies.

Having a bit of a rubbish weekend here, have a bad back, terribly sore coccynx, alternating between numb and on fire, and sore pelvis. don't even know what I've done but just can't get comfortable. I associate this feeling with 30+ wks not 15wks. Plus I had a hot bath to ease things last night and then freaked out in case it had been too hot for the baby (despite never worrying about this before). Going out for lunch with friends today and just feel super antisocial and sorry for myself Sad

Private scan today, dating exactly where expected at 8 weeks. Heartbeat, good yolk sac, nice thick endometrium. Very grateful.

Yey to great scan news :)
Glad to hear you have had a nice weekend Janie.. Where did you go? Lucky you with an extra scan feeling Envy
I am also now minus a wedding ring. Sausage fingers have arrived. My engagement one is a bit bigger so still got that on for a little while longer! Been trying to sort the house out a bit. Seem to have so much junk! Not sure where all this extra baby stuff is going to fit! Been quite nice to buy girls things this time around. DS is getting excited about his new little sister. He thinks she should be a Lola like off Charlie and Lola kids TV!

Love all the good scan news!
Garden worm how old is your LO and when are you due? I've a ds just turned 2- and im due in march when he'll be 2.5 so would have liked to do the potty training by then but not too sure how to time it right. He is definitely not ready yet. Pity couldn't have done it in the warm weather ...
What do you think?

Yay Tea!! Super happy for you :) glad everything went well.

Fod where did you get your stuff from? I've no idea where to begin!

Thanks for the reassurance Kat I'm now gearing myself up to get through the next 5wks until the dating scan. It's going to be awkward because we're going on holiday with a bunch of DH's friends the week before the scan and its going to be pretty obvious that Miss Alcoholic here isn't drinking... No sure how we're going to handle that!

Hi Omri my DS is 3 in Early Nov so will be 3.1 when his brother arrives. He is showing very little signs of being ready to potty train. We've had the odd wee in the potty, but he still denies having poo'd (it's clearly obvious) and today (after havng an emergency swim nappy put on while we were ot which I then forgot about) he sat in a very wet pair of trousers without caring/noticing as swim nappy not designed for his power wees

I am resigned to potty training after Christmas once everything has calmed down a bit. I've read/heard that it's supposed to be easier after 3 anyway fingers crossed

Great news on the scan tea!

chocolate don't stress the potty training! My DS was 3.2 when he potty trained and still in nappies at night until he was 4. He will do it when he's ready and it will be much easier then x
