Welcome ladies, new and old. Grin May we all have dull and boring pregnancies. Pull up a chair, crack open a bottle of (non-alcoholic) wine and settle in for mutual handholding, fishslapping and neurosis.

Thanks for the thread santa Smile

Don't remember DS being this high up, but this baby is kicking (if it is legs I can feel??!) so high up I'm breathless, like I've been up and down the stairs a few times when im just sitting still...been happening all week it's mad! Getting lots of braxton hicks this time too and didn't get them till the very end with DS, all very different Smile

ooo shiny new thread

5+1 and still spotting but it is just that, sort of watery pinky brown CM, i am genuinely not worried now as it is so light. i will take a couple of ICs over the weekend to reassure me, and then my CB digi before i go to the MW next week.

DS started school today, i didnt cry at all - he was hyperactive though so i reckon i was pleased to have 2 hours off Grin

sorry for no namechecking, i am going to try and get onto tinternet for an hour over the weekend to properly catch up. Welcome to the newbies (good to see me creeping up the list already Smile)

Hello people. Sorry not been around for a while. Can't believe I am fourth on the stats list!!

Had a bit of a crap week. Lots of pregnancy ailments hitting me at once. Severe calf cramps woke me up screaming twice this week and also woke up with pins and needle in both handsand been getting shooting pains down arms last two days. think it is laying in my side that is doing it as dont normally do that. It doesn't work well with my long term neck issues. So am generally a grumpy cowbag at the mo. am gonna try sleeping propped upright tonight ( even if I do preach to all my vein patients not to do that) .

Just finished watching the Britain and Ireland's next top model. What the hell they picked the wrong girl, can't believe it!!! I usually get it right!!! Gutted.
See grumpy cow bag.

Off to Cornwall on sat for a week. Really need a break.hoorah and pampering day tommorow. Hair cut massag and pedicure. Bliss! Hopefully mood will improve.

Anyway enough about me and my winging will try and catch up on what you have all been up too xxxxxx

I'll be honest, iv been trying to avoid you all this week (in the nicest way possible) so that I could avoid thinking about 20eeek scan. But now it's tomorrow and I can't sleep. Hmm

Good luck today Christine

Where has the sunshine gone! Woke up to foggy murk Sad it's our 5th wedding anniversary today, steak and champagne (shhhhh) at home tonight as too tired to contemplate going out. It rained on our wedding day so should I be surprised it's going to rain today? Gutting after the lovely hot day yesterday ( that looked so nice from my desk at work all day!)
Jamie my physio had advised me to do lots of "hold the fart" exercises to help with SPD - good for your pelvic floor toning at the back

Eek! Just had the most amazing news and need to share!

My wonderful cousin and her husband were told in 2009 following years of ttc and suffering an early miscarriage, the chances of her conceiving again naturally were very slim.

To cut a long story short, I donated my eggs to them in 2011 and following 2 failed IVF attempts I am overjoyed to say she is pregnant...WITH TWINS!

They have been through so much heartbreak and will make fantastic parents. I can't describe how happy I am! Smile Smile

thanks for the new, shiny thread Santa Smile

christine good luck with your scan today!! Will you be finding out the flavour? Let us know how it goes

Happy anniversary choc - sounds like you have a lovely evening planned!

ralph what a wonderful thing to do for your cousin! You must all be overjoyed, congratulations!

Fab kitchen tea, I also want a new one now

I've heard that pregnancy/gym balls are also good for making the baby move. bump I wouldn't stress too much I think there's still time for the baby to turn - there's still enough room for them to do so till 36/37 weeks if I'm not mistaken?

bod I hope the extra pillows help, I started using mine a couple of weeks ago and they have made a difference (that and my dreamgenii pillow). Enjoy your pampering day and have a great holiday!

ibip I've had to take my rings off as well! Which last time didn't happen till I was 37-38 weeks....but I think the heat hasn't helped

Hello everybody- friends old and new.

I am still here, lurking in the background and checking in occasionally but otherwise just plodding through each day one at a time.

It's my dating scan tomorrow morning and I am too numb to feel petrified yet but the fear is definitely bubbling below the surface. Had a private scan at 10 weeks and all was well but the relief was short lived.

ralph that is truly fantastic news!

Good luck today christine. I know how nervous you'll be but we're all here rooting for you (in the US sense of the word, not the Aussie sense!!)

So kitchen shopping is fun but also very scary and grown up!! We're looking for a lifetime kitchen for our forever home (we're having an extension done at the same time). The costs are terrifying (as we're both keen on the in-frame, hand painted types (like Neptune, Harvey Jones - garrgh! curses on me for marrying someone with champagne tastes (like me) and a cider income (like me)) and there's so much juggling to do, trying to get accurate builders quotes so we know exactly what our budget is!! We've just resigned ourselves to it not being finished by Christmas/B-Day (baby day) on the basis that the one time in our lives we do live off frozen ready meals is the first few weeks of a baby's life!!!

Its been a good project to see me through the PG batshit crazy phase. The house buying was done as a project to see me through the post MC1 phase when we were told it might be molar (and would therefore be a year before we could try again).

Thanks for the holding in fart advice!

Congrats Ralph's cousin! Totally amazing!

Jealous of champagne and steak night!! Happy anniversary :)

Christine good luck today, got everything crossed for you xx

Thunder it's great to hear from you, hope you can find some posifrickintivity in there for your dating scan, I have a good feeling xx

Santa I was also diagnosed with a partial molar after my mmc, after months of follow up testing and pure panic (more so about not being allowed to TTC again) they then realised they'd misdiagnosed me grrr and yay at the same time.

thunder good luck tomorrow! If you had a good scan at 10 weeks, you are 99.9% likely to have a good scan tomorrow as well so try not to stress too much! (easier said than done, I know - I was exactly the same)

santa it's great that you had a project to concentrate on (and get distracted by) after your miscarriages. I lost interest in everything both times, there's no way I could have done what you're doing (I wish I had though!)
