Barking I'm going to send you a message on fb with my mobile number. No matter what time of night you can call me and my phone will be on. If you need to talk to someone, or a shoulder to cry on please please feel free to ring me, I honestly won't mind. Thinking of you, and praying so hard this all ends well for you x

CatsCantFlyFast · 07/09/2013 20:58

Ps messages from non fb friends sometimes go into a weird messages folder called others or something so you may need to dig around to find it if you do need to call x

barkingtreefrog · 07/09/2013 21:04

Thank you so much merk that's so lovely of you. You berries are amazing, I'm so happy I found the elderberries, I'd have gone crazy without all the advice and support Smile .

Oh barking just catching up now, I'm so sorry you're going through all this and without anyone with you (although dogs do of course give the best hugs). Thinking of you tonight, please do take Merk up on her lovely offer if you need to talk and of course we're all here too xxx

Bunnygirlie · 07/09/2013 21:40

barking that other folder merkin was talking about might be where my message to you went x

PoppySeedBun · 07/09/2013 21:50

barking just dipping in now as well. I'm so, so
sorry you're going through this. Must be so hard Sad
I can't add much to what the others have said, except to say that my DH was annoyed with me keeping my MMC from him until quite late on. He would rather have known and be able to give support than be in the dark. You know what to do for the best, but don't assume that he'd rather not know.
We're all here for you.

barkingtreefrog · 07/09/2013 22:08

poppy I'm not deliberately keeping anything from him, I spoke to him early evening and other than the clots and weird stuff in the blood nothing has changed, he knew after I called the epu this morning that bad news was a possibility. He's going to speak to his boss about getting more time off work so he can come with me to the scan on Thursday.

PoppySeedBun · 07/09/2013 22:12

That's great. Didn't want to criticise, just to throw in my experience (and bad decisions last time)
IYSWIM
Fx that he can get the time off and that things start to improve so its all less worrying.

barkingtreefrog · 07/09/2013 22:33

That's fine poppy I just didn't want to call when I was upset earlier as he'd have been worried but there's no easy way he could get home before tomorrow so I didn't want him to be in a difficult position.
My mate (the only one who knows) has been checking up on me by text and phone and has demanded that I call at whatever hour and she'll drive over.
Off to bed now, fx the bleeding will have calmed down by the morning (not least for the sake of the white bedsheets. .. Blush )

Hope you had a good night barking
I never thought being PG would turn me into a morning person, but here I am waking up at 5am again and nibbling on an oatcake Confused
How are the other berries doing?

Boomgoestheweasel · 08/09/2013 06:34

Morning all

barking how are you this morning?

poppy oatcakes eh? I'm in the mood for pain au choc... I never normally eat wheat but I think being diffed is triggering a lot of bad habits Hmm

Off to a christening today. Expect I will have the same reaction I always do and die a little inside!

barkingtreefrog · 08/09/2013 08:11

Morning Boom and Poppy.
I managed a reasonable night's sleep Smile . In denial this morning, been awake a while but don't want to go to the toilet, trying to delay seeing more blood. Still got the cramps but not bad enough to stop me sleeping.

Thundercatsarego · 08/09/2013 08:20

Morning all. Hello barking, glad you got some sleep, that's a good thing. Is DP back today?

Hmmmm pain au choc. Yum!

Feeling rough over here, big headache and feeling sick too. Hopefully coffee will help x

barkingtreefrog · 08/09/2013 08:55

Yes, DP should be back late afternoon I think.

Still bleeding. Had a shower which is progress as couldn't manage that yesterday and a little rummage which worried me. This may sound ridiculous but it feels inside just like it does when AF is here, everything feels swollen/closer/further down iyswim? All I can think about is that surely that means the cervix is open? I know absolutely nothing about it, but surely if my body feels exactly like it does for AF, both inside and outside, surely everything is being emptied out? Sad . Thursday seems so long away, yet I'm absolutely dreading it and would rather Thursday never came at all.

Morning all. Glad you got some sleep Barking. Very disappointed that you are still feeling rough Thunder. I was hoping you'd show us all that once you reach that magical 12 week mark, all the nastiness just melts away and you start that mythical 'glowing with inner beauty' phase!

Brodicea · 08/09/2013 09:21

Just catching up with the thread since yesterday - so sorry to hear about the weird bleeding barking - glad to hear the chap is back this avo.
Big hugs (( ))

CatsCantFlyFast · 08/09/2013 10:08

Barking I was convinced my cervix was open on Monday but I was wrong. Hope you got some nice dog cuddles last night. I'm sure Thursday feels miles away but it will come around soon. How's the pain this morning?

barkingtreefrog · 08/09/2013 10:35

That's reassuring merk, thanks. The pain isn't quite so bad at the moment, but it was worse when I moved around this morning, had a shower and put a load of washing on. I've returned to the sofa and duvet and my mate came round to walk the dog again for me. Wheat bag and paracetamol and being immobile on the sofa are continuing to keep it under control!

I'm actually looking forward to work tomorrow. Being run off my feet all day will prevent any dwelling for a while! fx the bleeding has stopped by then.

Afternoon all. barking how are you this afternoon? Still taking it easy I trust?

boom are you done at that christening yet? Hope it went ok? I find them quite strange affairs myself, but each to their own.

Everyone else ok?

Not long til Tuesday, scan girls!

CatsCantFlyFast · 08/09/2013 15:05

Afternoon guys. Thinking of you barking.
Am just back from meeting instadiffer friend and her new baby... Gorgeous (and terrifying too)!
In other news I bought 3 pairs of maternity skinny jeans from h&m. I didn't try them on til I got them home but they're sooo comfy. Jeans waistband sits really low (under bump/below hips) then there's a big stretchy waistband up to the ribs. Also long enough for me (34 inch inside leg)! V happy.

barkingtreefrog · 08/09/2013 15:36

I can't wear skinny jeans merk, they're just not comfortable when I sit down and bend my legs - it's all the wrinkles of fabric behind the knees. I just don't get it. I wanted to get some Levi's when we were in America, but the only jeans they did in my size were variations on skinny jeans or leggings!!

Still taking it very easy thunder. The dog was driving me crazy so I eventually shipped him off to a mate (he barks if anyone walks past the house, which is quite often. He'll stop if I call him to heel and give the command but we've never found a way to stop him reacting in the first place, and when I'm not feeling good it drives me crazy, all the barking and rushing to the back door every 20 minutes). Told my mate who picked him up I had really bad period pain, although I felt bad lying as she'd only asked me a few days ago if there was any news on the baby front.

Bleeding isn't as heavy today, but the cramps have got worse again. Not shifted off the sofa other than to get food or go to the toilet. Desperate to be able to go to work tomorrow, got lots to do that will pile up if I'm not there, not to mention not wanting to be off sick when it's only the second week back and having to explain why. Lesson planning not going so well though, think I opened my planning document at 10am and still not managed to finish it (while watching a series of different murder mysteries recorded on itv3...)

Just back from the christening, apologies to anyone who likes them but I do find them soooo dull. Spent most of the afternoon pretending to drink champers (which would have been the only perk of the day) and making chitchat with my friend's Great Aunt Someone-or-Other who seemed to think I was actually related to her Hmm

Barking glad you've been taking it gently today. Good to hear the bleeding has slowed down, hopefully that's a good sign xxx

I can't wear skinny jeans either because I'm not skinny I have knock knees and big thighs and look ridiculous in them. Bootcut all the way, I may not be fashionable but at least my legs don't look wonky!

Merk Tuesday still seems so far away, I'm starting to absolutely brick it though..

Thundercatsarego · 08/09/2013 20:08

barking I am sorry to join in with the bossy but I think you should have the day off tomorrow. You've spent all weekend unable to get off the sofa comfortably, it is really important that you don't just go and run around. You need to look after yourself lovely.

boom that sounds dull to me too. Well done for getting through it!

merk nice one with buying the maternity jeans. Can't imagine ever being brave enough to do it but hopefully I will need to one day.

CatsCantFlyFast · 08/09/2013 20:49

I was down to only one pair of jeans that would fasten so I was wearing them every day! I also got new bras as couldn't stay in denial any longer... Up three cup sizes Shock which is nice as I've never really had much in the boob department! This last week my tummy seems to have appeared, no longer just bloating.
Have you noticed when you tell someone your pregnant (or if its somebody who knows) the first thing they do is sneak a look at your stomach? I find it makes me quite stabby (for no obvious reason!)
