It's heavier bleeding but not significantly, and I've had cramps all day but I'm not in loads of pain. I basically feel like I'm on my (typically light) period Sad . I can't imagine there's anything they can do for me right now.

And after my post hsg experience I really don't want to go back to that same ward oit of hours!

Ugh, found out today that my waterproof trousers are no longer waterproof! Can you buy maternity waterproofs I wonder?!

CatsCantFlyFast · 06/09/2013 19:07

maternity waterproof trousers Grin

CatsCantFlyFast · 06/09/2013 19:08

Barking would you call it spotting or bleeding? Sending hugs and chocolate and non alcoholic wine

Boomgoestheweasel · 06/09/2013 19:55

MN doesn't seem to want to keep me updated with comments, sorry if it looks like I'm ignoring great wodges of conversation!

Barking hoping your spotting/bleeding sods off again.

Merk excellent find - if I were aged 18mths to 8 years old that is Grin!

Thundercatsarego · 06/09/2013 20:36

Grin!!

CatsCantFlyFast · 06/09/2013 20:40

Epic fail on sizing Grin

barkingtreefrog · 06/09/2013 23:27

Lovely evening out spoilt slightly by constant cramps and finding blood on the towel when I went to the toilet. Previously it had only been when I wiped, with the exception of the time I used the tampon. Fed up now. DP away from tomorrow morning. Keeps telling me he'll stay if I need him but given his earlier words of comfort were 'maybe it just hasn't worked this time' I'm probably better off on my own!! Now enough blood to need a night time sanitary towel for peace of mind rather than a pantyliner as previously. Grr. Not panicking yet, and still not wanting to go back to that ward, especially out of hours. DP did agree with that!

Hey barking how are you doing today?
I think lots of rest and chilling out needed for you my lovely. I know you have bad memories associated with that ward understatement but do go if you need to, yeah? Just to make sure you are being looked after

Morning all

Barking how are you feeling this morning?

Thunder good luck today, hope all goes well. Are you going to tell us the time...? You're up early for a Saturday Grin

Thundercatsarego · 07/09/2013 08:16

Thanks boom, actually this is a late morning for me- often I'm awake from 4 or 5 Confused

Scan is at 9.15 so of better get drinking. Hospital is a bit if a drive away so we're leaving soon.

How are you doing? And how're boom dogs?

Boomgoestheweasel · 07/09/2013 08:21

Oooh, not long then! Keep us updated (and 4am wake-up - BORK)

I'm fine, just waiting for Tues for early scan and trying not to think about it in the meantime. Working this evening and then christening tomorrow and on delivery suite on Monday, so hopefully will be able to keep my mind occupied! Boomdogs are as ridiculous as ever, currently arguing over a piece of overchewed-rope Grin

Thundercatsarego · 07/09/2013 08:24

No, good to get it over with first thing but am absolutely petrified.

Distractions and denial are the best medicine! Glad woofers ok x

barkingtreefrog · 07/09/2013 08:27

Did boomdog2 settle down once he'd been seen by the vet boom?

Thunder we need a photo of the scan as soon as you are able! Grin Only an hour left to wait! Thinking of you.

My update - still bleeding, still getting slightly heavier, still got cramps and a banging headache. DP got me a warm wheat bag last night to sooth the pain but then I wasn't sure whether that was a bad idea? Blush

I think I'll call epu when it's 9 just to ask their advice. I don't know whether they are open at the weekend at all or if it will be the other G ward, but someone should answer the phone and tell me what to do!

OP posts:
CatsCantFlyFast · 07/09/2013 08:31

Good look thunder
Keep us posted barking. I suspect epu won't be open so you may as well call now. Hoping so hard that everything is fine

barkingtreefrog · 07/09/2013 08:39

I've just worked out something disturbing weird. My 6 days of spotting in August that made me think it was AF just before my bfp was at cd25. If I took the first day of that spotting as cd1 and ignored the random days of spotting in between, this would be about the right time for the next AF. It's like my periods haven't stopped. If I hadn't had 6 very definite bfps including a clear blue digi saying 3+ weeks, and seen the pg sac on the scan, I'd think I was going crazy Confused .

OP posts:
Boomgoestheweasel · 07/09/2013 08:45

Some people do get breakthrough bleeding when their period would have been due all the way through pregnancy barking so perhaps that's what's going on here. I'd give the ward a ring, thunder's right - EPU usually don't cater for people having problems at the weekend Angry

barkingtreefrog · 07/09/2013 08:48

I think I just spoke to epu! The nurse is currently busy but will look at my scan notes from Thursday and give me a call back....

OP posts:
Boomgoestheweasel · 07/09/2013 09:15

Currently busy..! Charming! Hope she doesn't keep you waiting too long x

Thundercatsarego · 07/09/2013 09:19

Oh barking that would be great as an explanation eh? The human body is so weird.

Waiting waiting...

CatsCantFlyFast · 07/09/2013 09:34

Btw I clearly meant good luck thunder and not good look. Although I wish you a good look too!
FX for nice epu lady and normal breakthrough bleeding as an explanation. Did they take measurements at your scan this week?

Boomgoestheweasel · 07/09/2013 09:34

Are they running late already Thunder? Tsk!

Barking Boomdog II is still a bit rubbish in the housetraining dept, we just can't seem to persuade him that the hallway isn't a toilet. He has calmed down a lot though, so hopefully it's a matter of time...

haycorn · 07/09/2013 09:35

Still waiting Barking?
