I think I might be miscarrying...

Went to the loo before bed last night, bright red blood when I wiped. Just been again, more blood. It's not gushing, just spotting onnthe sanitary towel i am wearing and plenty of blood on the loo roll when I wipe. Plus cramping. Feels like the start of my period. I am 8+6.

This would be DC2, conceived on 23rd cycle of TTC. I fear it could be all over soon. I am gutted. Assuming this is a miscarriage, does anyone know what I should do in the morning? Do I stay home and wait for the bleeding to get heavier? Do I ring midwife? Fertility Unit? (we are registered with the fertility unit as we're on their books when I got my bfp, despite having not had any treatment). Is there anything the HCPs can do, or wil they just tell me to wait it out?

good luck for tomorrow Thanks

r.e. the clot- when my mate miscarried at 6 weeks she passed a huge hunk of 'material'... i saw a pic and i cudnt believe it- the only way i can describe it is a gigantic used tampon in a c shape... bout the size of a mans hand... we never did find out what was what from pathology Blushbut she was really gushing blood too so hopefully the lightening of your bleed is a + sign... sorry if im blabbing on or ive offended anyone by that discription or if i dont make sense... overtired Confused

i do hope it turns out ok for you x x

come late to the thread but thinking of you today. I have had both experiences, a bad news scan and then being convinced the next pg would be a disaster, had bleeding but all good this time and DD now 9 months. Either way, you will get through it. Sending much love.
