Right then! Come here if you are 4-12 weeks and can't stop fretting. Didn't think anything could be worse than the 2WW? Think again!

Grin PramItToMeOneMoreTime I have excellent ball skills Wink

I totally forgot to comment on your scan news. Bloody marvellous! It's going to be amazing!

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 19/08/2013 21:00

Hi I hope your all doing ok, I just wanted to update you. I've just got back from the hospital. My beta levels have dropped so its all officially over. Today I would have been 5 weeks. The staff at the EPU have been great. I've passed more products today and I'm hoping that's the worst off it. I've stopped the progesterone so it feels very final. We are both devastated as you can imagine. I'll be taking a break from mn for a bit as I need to try and forget about it all. I'll be wishing you all the best with these well deserved IVF babies and hopefully you'll all still be knocking about to cheer me on when I feel brave enough to give it another go. Thanks for all the support.

PramQueen1971 · 19/08/2013 21:47

Oh, Cups, I wish it were different for you. You really are a top-notch girl and we'll miss you until your return. As I said on the other thread, I really can't get my head around the anguish that some have to suffer on this IVF journey. I hope peace finds you so very quickly. Love to Mr. Cups, too xxx

MotorcycleMama · 19/08/2013 22:26

cups you can be sure that even if we don't hear from you for a while, we will be thinking of you. I'm so sorry you are having to go through this. Do remember that lots of us have been through what you are going through now, so do come here for support when you want it. X

There you go Beetle!! You're more pregnant than you thought Grin. Always a good thing!

Pramtastic, I'm getting impatient

PramQueen1971 · 20/08/2013 12:14

I'm back! Bladder too empty to photograph (unless you fancied squinting at a king prawn) but strong heartbeat detected. My dating scan is actually next Thursday at 13+2 so I will hold onto my bladder for the requisite 1.5hrs beforehand Hmm

Yes, yes, CapetownCutie, you use your last period as a start date fer t'babby.

I can't stop singing Ba-la-ba-la-La-Pramba!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 20/08/2013 12:23

So pleased for you PramPram how exciting!! How big is the prawn now?!

Ha! Ha! Cutie, I was joking about mine being closed down due to my not ordering there anymore. This is our Zorba - a cesspit yes, but ruddy scrumptious!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 20/08/2013 17:53

I've just had my booking in. I'm also needing consultant led care due to IVF. But she thinks I will be discharged straight away after my first appointment luckily!

But I've come home to a bit of almost brown gunk. I'm so worried it's all gone tits up. I'm gutted Sad

PramQueen1971 · 20/08/2013 18:12

No worries with the gunk, Marbie. I'm not being glib, I'm trying to pull your mind away from the rotten news of late on some of these threads. Stay rational; you've seen a heartbeat at 9wks and you have no pain. Even if you've had plain sailing thus far the gunk can appear for no good reason. Think good thoughts xx

NoMaybeAboutIt · 20/08/2013 18:17

Thanks lovely Prammy. I'm usually such a calm and rational person, but I seemed to have mislaid her. I know you're right, seeing the heartbeat last week dropped chances of miscarriage down to 2%. It's just so hard not to assume the worst, especially with everything that's happened of late. Thank you as always for your wise words x

MotorcycleMama · 20/08/2013 18:35

maybe I'm in the same boat. 4 days or so of being positive after good scan got lost in despair with more brown stuff today. To see a heartbeat at 9 weeks, as we both have, suggests a straightforward healthy pregnancy. I've got a scan tomorrow when I'll be 10+2. I am terrified, as that is the age the baby was when it died in my last pregnancy. Now just counting the hours and praying.
I know you will be fine (I just wish I could convince myself of the same thing). Wish I could employ my usual method of stress management and drink a bottle of wine!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 20/08/2013 18:43

Could we share that bottle Motor Wink. I know you're right. And I know you will be fine tomorrow. There's no pain, it's brown, therefore we are fine. Mine has gone again, it's just a brief thing. I'm hoping this mentaling will stop after the nuchal scan. But after my booking in, I'm also worried about the NT results!! and MrM got a few bits from mothercare which has of course made me worry we've jinxed it

Wimwom · 20/08/2013 19:27

Fab news pram Grin what can you see at 12 weeks? Just shellfish?!
maybe and motor - sorry your both worrying, we all know you are likely to be super fine - but someone else saying it and feeling it are two different things. I have had a really busy day today and am worrying as at no point have I felt sick - first day of no nausea for two weeks. Am trying to tell myself it's distraction of being busy - not working at all. Seeing gp tomorrow to book in - and scan following week and am bloody terrified.
Hey beetle - who else is about ATM?

Wimwom · 20/08/2013 19:27

I'd love a glass of wine.... Might persuade DH to have a glass so I can sniff!
