Right then! Come here if you are 4-12 weeks and can't stop fretting. Didn't think anything could be worse than the 2WW? Think again!

Just a quick one to say good luck beetle. Let us know how you get on. How are you feeling?

Where's nook?

Hi to pram and maybe

How are you doing cups?

I'm starting to get nervous about my scan on Wednesday - I'll be 10+2. Just hope all is ok.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 19/08/2013 08:31

Good luck for your results Beetle!

Motor I'm sure everything will be great. Though I am panicking about mine next week too Wink

Thinking of you Cups x

How is everyone feeling?

Wimwom · 19/08/2013 08:44

Is it beta day beetle? Fingers crossed for a nice doubling!

Can I ask when you more advanced ladies had your first scans? Am 6 weeks today and wondering if I should book one (clinic want to do one but are extortionate!) also has anyone had problems with cyclogest? Can you use cyclogest and crinone? Am really worried about cyclogest as I started at the weekend and have been bed and bathroom bound ever since with awful stomach pains (but not pelvic iykwim) and diarrhoea. Will ring clinic today - but they prob won't call back till the evening. Don't know whether to take it or not, put it fannyside with crinone or just leave it out! Any ideas?!

CapetownCutie! Yes, I have been quiet on this thread largely due to a domestic whirlwind of utter shite back home which I am getting my head around. I'm so chuffed you're preggo. The answer is 'yes': I will be godmother to your child which will require regular babysitting at your villa in South Africa Smile

Motor, you and I need a stern talking to about these anxieties. They're bloody awful, aren't they? My last scan was at 10+3 and tomorrow I'm 12 wks. My next scan is only at 13+2 and I'm not coping well with the worry that something awful has happened to baby. Irrational and pointless worrying (sigh).

Wim, I'm sorry but I don't know how to advise you. Deffo ring the clinic. You shouldn't feel unwell.

I'm gutted about fab. I've been thinking a lot about Twinks and Fish, too.

Yes...where the devil is Nook??

Bloody brilliant news Beetle Grin

Prambusters the stress is a headfuck. Massively so.

twinklestar2 · 19/08/2013 15:42

Thx for thinking of me, Pram. It's true what Nokkie sad: that IVF BFNs are so cruel. You'd think that after everything we'd been through it would just bloody work. Big sigh :(

PramQueen1971 · 19/08/2013 15:44

I am ashamed of myself Blush I just rang my lovely EPU (who have scanned me four times already) and ended up blurting out the whole gory details of my domestic woes and how I'm worried the anguish has cause something terrible to happen to baby. They're scanning me at 9.30 in the morning. I will be 12 wks exactly Blush

Cutie, my fave flowers are dog daisies; them wot stink of piss. Brillo news about your betas! I am just going to enjoy the moment Yeah.. good luck with that HmmGrin

PramQueen1971 · 19/08/2013 15:49

Prambusters. How are you coming up with these berrrrrilliant monikers, Marbie?

Twinkle, I thought i was prepared for a BFN back in the Czech Republic but when I read of them on here, and the utter desolation you are feeling, I wonder how I would have handled it. I think emotional healing comes with forward-planning, perhaps, and constantly talking about your anguish on these boards, rather than hiding away and believing it's all over. If it really is a numbers game, Twinks, you can have great hope about your next cycle. If it's all about luck, you are in with a chance every time. Stay strong and know that we are thinking of you xx

twinklestar2 · 19/08/2013 16:27

Thanks pram, I'm trying to stay positive. Me and OH both said last night that everything is tinged with sadness, no matter what you do or where you go the edges feel sad. Does that make sense?

Wimwom · 19/08/2013 16:56

That's a great result beetle - enjoy being pregnant lady!
pram sorry to hear domestics - but glad you are being well treated by EPU. 12 weeks you're going to start seeing lots of bits and bobs. How are things at home? X

MotorcycleMama · 19/08/2013 17:27

Right, I'll start again! I just wrote a long message to everyone and then lost it.

beetle congratulations Flowers - that is fantastic news!! How are you feeling?

wim I can't advise re the progesterone, but do talk to the clinic. In terms of scans, the earliest should be 7 weeks, when they can see foetal pole, yolk sac and heartbeat. So get booking!

How are you maybe?

Hi cups - how are you doing? I hope you are being looked after and are taking it easy. Keep talking to us.

Thinking of you twinkle - I second everything pram said.

Where is nook - I'm getting worried!

pram sorry to hear that all is not well on the domestic front. I imagine all such problems will be magnified by the pregnancy too, but you will find a way through. I know that deceit is one of the hardest things to cope with in a relationship, but once things have calmed down, give him a chance to explain, agree your priorities ( the wellbeing of you and baby), and get some solutions.
Glad you got a scan tomorrow - it will be lovely!

PramQueen1971 · 19/08/2013 17:29

Twinks, you absolutely make sense. I just hope you don't become one of these people who believe it's 'never going to work', because there is no rationale in that philosophy. It just feels forever hopeless x

Wim, everything's ruddy awful o'er these parts but a healthy scan tomorrow will make all the difference Smile

May I ask who the hell is MaryPoppins on th'Egg Buddies thread??

PramQueen1971 · 19/08/2013 17:31

Twinks, I'm afraid I came across as glib in my last post to you. It's very easy for me to sit here and tell you all is not lost. I hope you take waht I say in the spirit it's meant. For what it's worth I'm not one to butter people up for the sake of. I do believe this will happen for you and Mr. Twinks.

NookNook · 19/08/2013 19:46

Hello my beautiful fellow ivfers! I'm on me holidays so limited signal. I haven't forgotten about you and am very pleased that you haven't forgotten me!
