Egg yolks, white wine vinegar and butter. The only difference being with bernaise, when you heat the vinegar, you heat it with the tarragon and diced shallots. My mouth is actually watering as I write.

Just wanted to say you are all missed very much on our egg buddies thread The mood is understandably very sombre at the 'mo with the appalling run of bfn's but there are some incredibly strong ladies on there (as you know) & we will keep going until we can graduate onto here - which will hopefully be very soon
