Right then! Come here if you are 4-12 weeks and can't stop fretting. Didn't think anything could be worse than the 2WW? Think again!

Also holding your hand Cups. Once your beta results are through, are you meant to call the clinic? Do you have epu near you that will do a repeat beta? Thinking of you lovely. I hope you get some answers soon x

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 16/08/2013 09:27

Miss Piggies thanks for your advice. I'm already on the maximum dose of progesterone that my clinic gives. I'm afraid it's just a waiting game at the minute.

Wim I'm having the beta test through my GP not the clinic. They won't do anything until my OTD which is Monday. I'm not sure how I'm going to get a second beta as I'd need it doing tomorrow. I think going to A&E is the only way I would get it done. I'm annoyed at my clinics stupidly long test date, I'm 14dp3dt today, I'm still getting BFPs. I feel like I'm in no mans land, like no ones admitting I'm pregnant.

Thanks motor, maybe, prammy, caip, twinks, fab, beetle and anyone else I've missed. Sorry for all the me me me posts. My head is all over the place.

MotorcycleMama · 16/08/2013 09:50

Have you spoken to your clinic cups? They should be supporting you at such a time, and helping you get the tests you need to know what is going on. You may have to pay for betas, but I imagine that money isn't your main worry at the moment. Keep strong. X

I have just returned from my booking appt with the midwife - luckily took 20 minutes not an hour as they suggested. My blood pressure was 80/50, so no wonder I've been feeling light-headed and breathless. Must increase fluids and salt.

Fabuluce · 16/08/2013 09:52

That's because you're in headfucksville lovely Cups, where you can't possibly think about anything elseHmm have posted on both pages - hair stroking is necessary. I hope you get some answers today. X

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 16/08/2013 09:55

Wow Motor that is low, definitely try to drink more. Hope your feeling ok x

I have spoken to the clinic yesterday. She said they will give me beta tests if I'm still positive on Monday and I will have the full support of the epu there but not until Monday Blush I broached paying for them but treatment is NHS so she said I should go through my GP to do that.

That's the only reason my GP gave me the form I think as I said I was willing to pay for it. Up until that point she was saying it was pointless getting it done.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 16/08/2013 09:55

Oh wow Motor, that's so low! I am very breathless tody I hate it.

Cups, never apologise. I think A&E is the best idea, I really do

NoMaybeAboutIt · 16/08/2013 09:59

Cups thats so ridiculous. I'm Angry on your behalf. There test date is stupidly late.

Fabuluce · 16/08/2013 11:11

Blimey motor - how are you standing?? Mine is generally low, averages out at 93ish/60ish so I spend a lot of time being dizzy (that's my excuse anyway!) but that is seriously low. Did they give you any other advise on what to do to bring it up? Are you even allowed to operate machinery??

Cups it does seem like madness that they won't support you when you are already at 14dp3dt - that's spot on normal time for a beta surely? And of course not helping you with your stress levels either I'm sure. I'm not sure if a&e will do anything for you but if you're happy to hang around for a while in one then that maybe the right option for you. You should weigh up whether you are happy to sit there for several hours over being at home though. You need to do whatever you feel is best for you lovely. Hugs.

Caip · 16/08/2013 14:58

Cups - pls try and take some comfort from the fact you're still getting BFPs. I had a chemical pregnancy with my last IVF and the BFP was sooooo faint and disappeared within 2 days
Still have my fingers crossed xxx

PramQueen1971 · 16/08/2013 17:18

I can categorically say you will be fine Cups - and you can hold me to that.

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 16/08/2013 18:09

I will Prammy! Beta is back its 83 at 13dp3dt. It's just a waiting game for me now.

MotorcycleMama · 16/08/2013 18:32

Great you got your result cups. Can you get it repeated on Monday? Betas only really make sense if you get two done. Really pleased things are looking a bit more optimistic.

PramQueen1971 · 16/08/2013 20:11

What do those levels mean, does anyone know? Is Cups safely pregnant so far?

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 16/08/2013 20:33

I know I need another one but I don't see how I can get one! If I'm still pregnant on Monday then I'm sure I can get the clinic to do one.

Prammy I am definitely pregnant but its a little low for 16dpo, I think that number is more what is expected at 14dpo. There are plenty of people who have successful pregnancies with lower betas but I think coupled with the bleeding its not brilliant. I've not completely given up hope yet.

pram a beta of 83 definitely = pregnant (anything over 25). The thing is you can't make sense of it in isolation, so only the next test will really help cups. We'll all keep everything crossed for you in the meantime cups. X

PramQueen1971 · 17/08/2013 11:55

Thanks, Motor. Darling Cups, what's going on this morning? Worse or the same? You need to kick the living shit out of anyone who doesn't help you with a blood test tomorrow.

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 17/08/2013 14:37

I've not got good news. I had a very bad night with bleeding and pain. I have also passed some stuff that made me very sure it was all over. I spoke to the clinic first thing and I went in there. Then they sent me to the EPU. I've had bloods done and they are not doubling. In 48 hours its gone from 83 to 92 so it looks like a failing pregnancy. The confusing part is that because I had 2 embryos it is a possibility that there could be the loss of one embryo. The nurse says they have seen cases with two embryos where they implant at different times so they can't really rely on the beta tests at this stage. I've got to go back on Monday for another test and I've been told to call them if the pain starts again like last night.

Thanks for thinking of me, I'll be wishing you guys all the best. I won't be on here for a bit x

PramQueen1971 · 17/08/2013 14:43

Oh, Cups, I am sorry, so sorry Sad

nobeer · 17/08/2013 15:56
