Hi pram. I'm ok. Apprehensive about the scan tomorrow, but feel strangely calm compared to how I have been. I still have some brown sludge, but it is minimal. The period pains have gone. Now just have to see if the baby is still there. I will let you know.
I've got a good distraction in the form of a young female cat who has adopted us. She turned up at the house yesterday, starving and very thin, and very vocal. Sadly I think she is/was a nursing mum as her nipples are very prominent. She must have been abandoned. We have made her a bed in the front shed and given her lots of food and water. I can't decide whether to call her Syvia or Sparkle. Sadly I don't think one of my two cats will tolerate her moving in, so we will have to get her re-homed.

Sorry pram very rude of me.. How are you?
I'm about to embark on a cooking fest, making Harissa marinaded chicken, guacamole, stewed peppers, tzatsiki and salad. Have just spent £40 on some algae-based EPA and DHA (omega stuff) as I am vegetarian so not happy taking the fish oil, and have heard that flaxeed oil only has AHA, and that apparently isn't good enough for baby's brain and eye development! What a mug I am.

Motor what a feast! Do you eat chicken but not fish? I would do anything for some guacamole right now! Though I have gone really off chicken! Bizarre. I wish I could eat nice stuff, but I'm so off my food. Having sausage and mash today as it's all I could imagine eating that wasn't a cracker or toast!!

I don't think being ill on top of it helps much though.

I'm really well, thanks, Motor. 4pm is approaching which is when nausea sets in. I'm about to open a tine of Italian Wedding soup: tomato, green vegetables & pasta with 'mixed meatballs' (they go straight in the bin; 'mixed' conjures up horse meat with a sprinkling of hooves and fetlocks).

Great news about Wim! Did she have a five-day blast?
