Right then! Come here if you are 4-12 weeks and can't stop fretting. Didn't think anything could be worse than the 2WW? Think again!

Amazing. Amazing. I think you need to write a book.

PramQueen1971 · 09/08/2013 15:50

You have no idea....HmmShock

MotorcycleMama · 09/08/2013 17:52

Lovely scan photo pram - you must be delighted!

I now have a 'reassurance scan' terror scan more like on Monday morning because I phoned EPU this morning following three days of AF-type cramps and small amount of spotting. The cramps are bad enough for me to have taken a couple doses of paracetamol, which scared me. The woman on the phone at the EPU started doing her 'fuck off and don't bother us with your neurotic obsessing' script until she realised that I've had a previous mmc, and then offered me to come in for a scan. I have to say I am very scared, but trying to just get on with life. I so want this baby. I don't think I could contemplate or afford to go through IVF again.

PramQueen1971 · 09/08/2013 18:01

Oh, Motor, I had no idea you were going through this. I am positive you will be fine but it's so hard to drive away those demons when we've suffered mmc. In my darkest moments I entirely ignored the fact that this was a beautifully-young donor's egg and that I had seen a heartbeat. Can you keep telling yourself this? The weekend is going to drag horribly if you can't stick with the positive thoughts surrounding this pregnancy. It is nothing like your last one, please hold on to that Thanks

MotorcycleMama · 09/08/2013 18:10

I'm trying to be positive - I've started saying affirmations - affirmations ffs! What will be will be, and getting into a really dark place is not going to help, so I'll try to keep busy.

MotorcycleMama · 09/08/2013 18:45

By the way, that last bit wasn't one of my affirmations - that would be a bit shit.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 09/08/2013 18:55

Oh Motor lovely. I'm sorry you are feeling so down. I know it's no consolation, but I've just come from my GP appointment, and she has said that cramps and spotting are all normal. You will be ok, but I'm glad you will be having your mind put at rest on Monday x

PramQueen1971 · 09/08/2013 20:36

Sick, sick, fucking sick..

NoMaybeAboutIt · 09/08/2013 21:05

Oh Prambelina your poor thing. I have all day nausea but no vomit. It's depressing.

PramQueen1971 · 09/08/2013 22:34

Marbie, I've misled you: I haven't puked I'm just inexorably and vilely bilious Envy

PramQueen1971 · 09/08/2013 22:35

Where the devil is Nook?

NoMaybeAboutIt · 09/08/2013 22:49

NoMaybeAboutIt · 10/08/2013 09:39

Nook you are like all cultured and stuff, innit Grin

Three days indeed my dear

PramQueen1971 · 10/08/2013 11:11

Marbie, bilious mean sick not angry, you fick cah.

Nook, were there loads of fat Russian dicks squished down white tights?

Right, Marbie (I do not understand Pramittomebaby - I suspect it's another nod to an era I have forgotten in my hagnessnessness) Gey on a train and get off at Oop North. Come out of the station, trek over some hill 'til you come to a valley. Find a teeny village full of old people and ask them where the blonde, pixie-headed, loud IVF-pregnant lady bird lives. Tell 'em it's near Flaxmoss chippy. You'll hear Stereophonics blaring from the stereo and a kettle screaming on the hob. When you look through the kitchen window you'll see a mug with Maybe It's Because I'm An Essex Slag on it. I'll be on the toilet trying to evacuate a gigantic, four day-old turd....

PramQueen1971 · 10/08/2013 11:16

Nook, what about Hazel?? Did you not read my post from Thursday detailing our accidental meeting? Hmmmm? Are you skipping posts, you lazy bint?

NoMaybeAboutIt · 10/08/2013 11:17

Oh PramPram that has made me laugh so much, and what with the delicate nature of my bladder, that was not good!

I'm on my way. Those directions will get me there in no time at all.

See here

PramQueen1971 · 10/08/2013 11:34

I knew it was that song!! Oh, why don't I have confidence in my musical knowledge?

Yesterday, on the antenatal fred, a girl (yes, she is a girl - she's 23) posted a link to a house she and her boyfriend are thinking of renting. She asked for opinions - truthful ones - and I said it was beautiful inside but looked like some weird Swiss brothel. She hasn't spoken to me since. Why don't people 'get' me yet?

P.s...I'm officially the oldest woman on the thread Sad

PramQueen1971 · 10/08/2013 11:35

Is PramPram a nod to the Flintstones, perchance?

PramQueen1971 · 10/08/2013 11:36

Who remembers the tune to The Littlest Hobo? You're in it, Maybs!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 10/08/2013 11:38

It is Prammy!

I get you. I think you're hilarious. Maybe brothels are her thing? If you ask for an honest opinion, you should expect nothing less!

And remember. No one is as old as Hazel.....

PramQueen1971 · 10/08/2013 11:45

Ha! Ha! 'Tis true!
