Right then! Come here if you are 4-12 weeks and can't stop fretting. Didn't think anything could be worse than the 2WW? Think again!

Ugh. Woken up to horrible news on th'antenatal thread (which I won't be sharing here, don't worry). When does this nightmare end (the first trimester)? I haven't felt sick for yonks but am not worried as I think I peaked at eight weeks and I'm 10 weeks today!! I think I may be done now with the nausea Smile

So you philistines have never heard of bread & butter pudding? Poor lambs.

Can you all remind me how far along you are, pliz and when you had your first scans?

Hiya, Beetle, our little Cape Town cutie! I'll be thinking of you tomorrow - you'll be over here with us before you know it. P.s..tell us more about these studies.

I have a friend coming over at 1pm with her eight year-old Aspergers son and she's taking me out for lunch (she just received a wad of cash from back-dated CSA Hmm) We're going to the Victorian tea rooms in the next village and I intend to order, like, evryfink...

Oooh, Beetle, I've saved that recipe in my favourites!

PramQueen1971 · 06/08/2013 15:20

Ugh. Bread and butter pudding for breakfast (11.45am) then sausage and mash for lunch (1pm). No wonder I'm turning into a chubster Sad How are we all today? Hmmmmm?

PramQueen1971 · 06/08/2013 16:14

Wow that is def bloating, pram!!

MotorcycleMama · 06/08/2013 17:22

Bloody hell pram! You look 6 months pregnant! Not saggy though, very attractive.

bouncingbelle · 07/08/2013 00:33

Can I say hello??? Only did clomid not Ivf but found out on Thursday that I am 4 weeks pregnant. Since then have been obsessively knicker-checking to make sure there's no bleeding and worried that I don't feel sick! (Though I o feel queasy from about 4pm onwards every day). My gp took a blood test on Thursday and says my hcg levels are very low, but that could just be cos it was only day 28 of my cycle. Having repeat hcg tomorrow which I guess will help reassure me. Just struggling so much to accept it has actually happened!!!!

PramQueen1971 · 07/08/2013 08:57

You are very welcome, belle seeing as there's very little action on 'ere Congratulations on your pregnancy, I'm sorry you're worried about low beta levels. I'm afraid that is unsettling news but I wish you the very best. How many cycles of Clomid did you take before it worked?

I'm off to do an hour or so at the charity shop this morning. Can't believe I had to get up with my alarm clock just now. Outrageous.

PramQueen1971 · 07/08/2013 11:24

Well...I lasted an hour. There's only so much of 'Hazel's' wittering a pregnant woman can take.

Thinking of you at ET today, Beetle x

Wow beetle that is amazingly brilliant!! Congratulations! You are a dark horse!

Welcome belle and congrats to you too. Fingers crossed for a healthy rise in your hcg tomorrow.

Well done on the charity shop stint pram.

I just had my first midwife appt so a referral has been made for my NHS dating scan - hope I don't have to wait too long. Been very scared today as I seem to have joined the brown sludge brigade rather late in the day, and have had AF type cramps all day. Midwife reckons it is nothing to worry about, just stuff growing and shifting - I hope she is right!

PramQueen1971 · 07/08/2013 15:07

Beetle! You're PUPO! I'm so excited for you. Implant, embie, implaaaant! Yes, I served one man with several DVDs - none of which I had ever heard of, like 'Zorro's Underpants' or summat -and an old lady with a nasty taste in blouses. I didn't realise so much work goes into running those shops: steaming and repairing; disinfecting and polishing shoes ; buttoning every single sleeve button in the shop (me today - effing thrilling); making six thousand cups of tea (Hazel - for her-effing-self).

I can see why charity shop workers only do half-days though: very tedious. I'll return and establish a proper shift pattern. I quite liked it, except for Hazel's incessant wittering.

motor, my brown sludge disappeared three days ago, along with the nausea. I only feel sick now if I have left it too long between meals. There are definite stretches and feelings of 'heat' in the old womble area though - try not to worry love.

Where the blardy hell are you, Marbie?

NookNook · 07/08/2013 17:22

Nice one Beets! Go embed go embie go!

Welcome Belle

Hi, thanks for the welcomes, still feeling v v concerned about low beta hcg levels and trying not to panic (on plus side, boobs sorer than ever, shattered n felt queasy all day...) guess I,ll find out on Friday!

MotorcycleMama · 08/08/2013 06:43

belle hcg levels should ideally be checked 48 hours apart, as far as I know. Is there any reason for the length of time between your tests?
I totally understand your anxiety re your levels, but you may well have a lovely surprise and see all is well.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 08/08/2013 06:45

Morning all! I have returned.

Welcome Belle! Am keeping everything crossed for you tomorrow.

Motor boo to the sludge. But apparently all the cool kids are doing it Wink

Pramtastic, exactly how old is Hazel?!

Beetle! A PUPO! Well done you x

Nooky how are you?

I fear I have a throat infection. Can't swallow. I really don't need work today, especially after having been working up north for the last few days Sad

MotorcycleMama · 08/08/2013 08:24

maybe I am a nurse and am telling you that there is no way you should go to work! You are a poorly pregnant woman who needs to rest.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 08/08/2013 09:12

I know you're right lovely Motor. I may have to leave early. The nausea is bad enough without this on top. It's like a can't cope properly! But I have ginger nuts.

How are you feeling?

Beetle sushi is fine in pregnancy as long as the fish is frozen prior to use. I think a lot of high street place to freeze it first, but have a check. I love sushi. Honey is fine in pregnancy, but I'm so off hot drinks at the mo!!
