Right then! Come here if you are 4-12 weeks and can't stop fretting. Didn't think anything could be worse than the 2WW? Think again!

I think I am Nook Wink. Sorry to hear you're having a bad day. 1 week to go eh?!

Motor tiredness is a great sign! I'm sure all is well in there

I too will join the march thread if all is well on Tuesday

MotorcycleMama · 05/08/2013 18:39

How are you feeling now pram, confidence wise? I had a look at the dopplers you can buy on amazon to listen to your baby's heartbeat, but decided that would be mad.

PramQueen1971 · 05/08/2013 18:58

I'm pretty confident, Motor, but I pray a lot and am becoming pretty adept at driving away those demons adroitly. Our fears are largely unsubstantiated, if only we can stay rational. My mmc last year happened with a 40 year-old egg and having had no early scans. This time around it's a completely different scenario...and that goes for you, too.

Dopplers are sinister and to be avoided at all costs, IMO.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 05/08/2013 20:13

I agree on the Doppler front. To so hit and miss for the midwives, let alone for us incompetent fools Wink

NookNook · 05/08/2013 20:54

Yo ladies!

Pram the cramps were definitely worae yesterday. Not at all on period scale but I could certainly feel them... hardly any spotting today. A tiny bit of beige sludge. There has never been any red apart forrom the red snot last Monday.

Glad you're staying rational Pram. Good call on the doppler. Yes lets all stay away from anything hat can make us more paranoid!!!

In my rational mind it's all fine bit then I have a down moment and BOOM!

Maybe this week is going to really drag! Any suggestions? Smile

Motor you are doing amazingly well to keep it together. This is all so hard. Good luck with the midwife!

I'm going out for lunch on Saturday and joining the gym on Sunday Nook. What about you?

Is anyone else getting full really quickly? I'm also worrying Im getting too far too quick. I'm not eating anymore than normal, I'm just spacing it out through the day. But true whole of my tummy is bloated. I thought it would just be the bottom bit, not the top as well!

MotorcycleMama · 05/08/2013 21:33

I think you are getting us mixed up nook - I'm the one wondering about getting a Doppler (knowing full well it would be very stupid!) and I think pram is the one keeping it together! I wish it were the other way round!!

Cramps can be due to ligaments stretching or the placenta getting anchored into place, so try not to worry too much about them.

Hi maybe I am slowly finding that I really don't want full meals, but eat smaller amounts right through the day. I've got a great appetite, but get full very quickly. I do feel pretty bloated, but haven't put on any weight so far. The bloat might come from the fact that your digestive system slows down hence indigestion and constipation.

PramQueen1971 · 05/08/2013 21:40

I cannot believe that none of you have put a single pound on Shock

PramQueen1971 · 05/08/2013 21:45

...mind you, I have two takeaways per week and I am, as I type, in the kitchen, with Jamie Oliver's bread & butter pudding in th'oven (but topped with lemon cheese instead of evil marmalade).

Also, I don't work and so most days I can be found reading on the sofa, only getting up to go for a piss or shove yet another waxen monstrosity up me vadge.

NookNook · 05/08/2013 21:46

Doh! Sorry Motor. Don't get a doppler! Grin

Pram I have definitely put on weight but I think it's been slowly creeping up since ivf started. I'm rather small anyways so it really shows. And I'm going on holiday soon. Joy. Did I mention my chest acne? I am SO attractive right now.

Oh and the bloating! Dear god the bloating.

OP posts:
NookNook · 05/08/2013 21:47

I think I may miss the waxy vadge candles.

OP posts:
NoMaybeAboutIt · 05/08/2013 22:04

Anyone want to swap a waxy candle for a vial of fanny gel?

I've put weight on my boobs and my tummy. I still fit in my clothes but I'm not comfy.

Pra'am by lemon cheese, do you mean curd?

PramQueen1971 · 05/08/2013 22:09

Nook, where you going on hols? Are you a midget, then?

Pra'am is utter genius. No, MarbleArch, I mean cheese ('tis posher than curd)

If i'm honest, my weight has crept up since the start of IVF too, Nook, which is when I packed in all forms of exercise. I know full well that my belly is all bloating but, bleddy hell, it's massive!

PramQueen1971 · 05/08/2013 22:35

Oh! My b&b pud was luscious.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 05/08/2013 22:50

Is this a northern substance? Well done on the pud. I'm noshing on a ginger nut.....

Yes, where are you off to Nook

NookNook · 05/08/2013 23:32

Haha! Not quite midget standard. Im 5'1... ok quite midget. I'm off to sunny Portugal. Not for a couple of weeks though. I'm hoping the acne will have subsided a bit by then. I bought some very expensive body scrub today on desperation...

Impressed with the pud Pram

Yes I agree Maybe definitely a northern thing.

Ooh, lovely Nook! The sun will sort the spots out, don't you worry.

I need to find lemon cheese. It sounds tasty.

I've been up for an hour and a half already. I think I may die today. Have also woken up with a nasty throat. The joys.

One week today Nooky!

I think the sun will still dry it out Nooky

Throat is not good. I too feel rough as arseholes. I get butterflies everytime I think of next week Sad

NookNook · 06/08/2013 08:30

I know. I'm slowly convincing myself that the spotting and cramping at the weekend means its all over Sad

OP posts:
NoMaybeAboutIt · 06/08/2013 08:40

I will hear none of that Nookster. Prambelina is the queen of all that is brown and sludge like, and if she says it's ok, then it's ok

I totally know what you mean though, I've convinced myself on one of 'those' that gets all the symptoms but no baby.

NookNook · 06/08/2013 08:46

Oh dear. A week you say? I feel sorry for the others. They are going to have to put up with our whining. Smile
