Right then! Come here if you are 4-12 weeks and can't stop fretting. Didn't think anything could be worse than the 2WW? Think again!

Fish I'm so sorry to hear that. Am thinking of you and hoping for good news.

Motor that's fantastic news, well done you. What a relief x

NookNook · 31/07/2013 12:32

Motor, congratulations.

Fish, this is horrible for you and I'm so sorry. Your GP is a prize dick.

resipsa · 31/07/2013 16:48

Motor so pleased to read your news, poster girl.

chocolocodowninacapulco · 31/07/2013 16:56

motor well done, that's great news Grin

MotorcycleMama · 31/07/2013 19:10

fish Not long now until your scan, although I know that hours can seem like days when you are in torment. Sometimes I think that the uncertainty is harder than the reality, even if the news isn't good. Whatever happens, we'll all be thinking of you and praying for you. X

MotorcycleMama · 31/07/2013 19:11

nook I'm 7+2. How are you doing?

NookNook · 31/07/2013 20:45

Hey Motor you're exactly a week ahead of me - I'm 6+2! I had a scan on Monday so my stress had has eased off. Just counting down to the next scan now. This really is the most stressful thing that I've ever been through. I can't stop thinking and worrying about everything. AND I haven't even considered job and money situation yet!

And brown sludge is still well and truly at the party Sad

Nook lovely, that's what we are here for Smile. I think sludge is par for the course. Though it never feels ok to see it.

How are we all?

I'm thinking of you Fish x

Pramdabedosie how was the spag Bol?

Motor how are you feeling after today's good news?!

I've not long got in. 15 hour days when I feel like this aren't fun. I've managed to get some dinner in just now though.

Does anyone else feel very fat? I feel so lardy, despite probably eating less. Yuk. I'm joining the gym next weekend, as I'm not brave enough to run outside anymore. I just get too hot. I haven't run since before EC and I've missed it Sad

MotorcycleMama · 31/07/2013 22:32

maybe I have felt ok with my weight, until today. I used to exercise about 5 times a week, and be very careful with my diet. I haven't exercised since ET, and I am eating precisely what I fancy when I fancy it. So cheese sandwiches and chocolate bars it is! It will all catch up with me if I don't get a handle on it soon though. I am in a dilemma re exercise. I love running and spin, but don't feel I should be doing them now, but I do want to do something. Don't think I can be arsed with swimming and yoga and the other sorts of exercise they suggest for pregnant ladies. Body Pump and treadmill? Possibly.
And I feel great by the way - relieved and positive. I have decided to change my mindset from one of thinking miscarriage is inevitable to it might happen, but it's not the most likely outcome. Just hope I can keep up the PMA over time.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 31/07/2013 23:11

Good for you Motor!! That's what I like to hear.

If you're fit already, technically you can carry on. But you're to avoid anything which makes you out of breath or too hot. Both of which running and spin do to me!! I don't think I'd me comfortable with body pump with the weights. I just plan on running on the treadmill for a bit, cross training and doing some static weights. I do plan on yoga, Pilates and swimming too though.

Tight squeeze, fish xx

PramelaAndherson · 01/08/2013 12:21

Got my first consultant appointment this afternoon. Will discuss my antidepressants and whether they are baby-friendly.

Friday's 8wk scan euphoria has already disappeared and am back to wobbling.

PramelaAndherson · 01/08/2013 12:21

*pregnancy-friendly

NoMaybeAboutIt · 01/08/2013 12:30

Oh Prammy, are you ok? Has anything caused the wobble?

Am glad you're seeing your consultant. Always good to ask questions and have fears put at ease. Lots of meds are safe in pregnancy, but if it's not, they'll get you on the right ones ASAP x

PramelaAndherson · 01/08/2013 13:03

I'm just being a faithless moron, Marbs. I swear these early scans only give me reassurance for a weekend and then I'm imagining all sorts. It doesn't help that a lady on t'other thread had her eight week scan and then lost it at 8+4. It's just intolerable, all this bad news. I feel shit for fish and guilty for wobbling on here over nowt and guiltier still for not trusting in my amazing God who has given me this gift.

No more moaning on here, it's not appropriate. I wish I could give you a hug, fish xx

NoMaybeAboutIt · 01/08/2013 13:30

Prammy it's what we are here for. You listen to our wobbles, we listen to yours. Fact.

The bad news is so hard. I feel for everyone going through all of this. It's so hard.
