I appreciate this will sound very wrong but Janie your lady bits sound like my face!!!!! I have really bad skin at the mo that goes dry and spotty and generally minging. Not sure Metanium smeared across my chops is the answer though, would look like a bad case of jaundiced fake tan!

Omg. I just had a poke around in my tummy, and I can feel my Uterus! How exciting! DH can also feel it, which I think makes him feel a bit more involved. If seems more real when you can feel something in there.... Now I just need to get baby wriggling!!

Awww ibip that's lovely. DH has just gone off to work and said goodbye to the babies as well. First time I think - he won't touch my belly because he says it freaks him out. I think we both have a lot of bonding to do!!

Diet - that's so cute. Bye bye babies! DH has only just started doing this too, I know still early, but I think the scare at the weekend has kicked him into feeling protective over baby too. So as bad as it was? There was a (small) positive!

Never thought I would be so happy to be wrenching my guts up all morning, well that was a 1st! Just when I seemed to be going symptomless
Had to walk dc to school and was trying my best not to be sick in the street all the while they think I have a virus-bless them, haven't told them yet waiting until my scan.
I have told my mother and it went better than I thought
8 weeks today

Hooray for vomiting pumpkin

So far, slightly strangely, my DH knows, my best friend knows and my boss knows. I had to tell him last week when I had my bleed as I thought I was going to be off for another ERPC and two weeks off work. He was really excited for me, bless him. (He loves kids and is very family orientated - I remind myself every week how lucky I am to have the job I do) - probably too excited and asking all the questions like it was his own. I won't be tell my parents till I have a sucessful scan, though DM and DF are staying for the week next week, so it might come out. Luckily we never drink during the week anyway, so they'll hopefully understand why I'm not having my traditional g&ts at 6 o'clock with them.

Exercise for me will be continuing in full force - the only difficulty I have is that I often swim at lunch, but with the nausea, I HAVE to eat so its really hard to fit a swim in too. I could go to a different pool that has lanes in the afternoon, but its more expensive and I'm tight! But I will continue running and cycling until I can't anymore - I think my last cycle with DC1 was at 5 months. Oh, and I keep remembering that from 6 months I couldn't walk with pg1, due (I now know, but didn't at the time) to SPD.

that's very sweet of DH anda mine hasn't started to do anything like that yet but maybe he will when i'm showing!

DH attempted a cuddle this morning...only problem was he rolled over in bed to put his arm across me and put it right across by boobs which are still sore!!

I'm hoping to start swimming soon i've been saying this every week as my queasiness seems to be subsiding now. Have told myself i will start once i've had my scan next week and know everything's ok!

Scan went well today.
Baby has changed so much in 2 weeks- looked like a baby today rather than a bean.
It was wriggling and waving. I have also moved forward 5 days to 11 weeks today!!
Had the harmony test and sadly had to get on the scales- looks like I'm heading for another huge gain- how could I put on 5kg even though I feel sick. Just got to keep everything crossed for the harmony result in 2 weeks.

JMF - great news on the scan!!

Pumpkin - glad you are happy with the sickness (if that make sense!!). My boobs have started to hurt in the evening now and I am finding that reassuring - strange isn't it!! No sickness for me at the moment but I am sooo hungry!!

I have added myself to the stats - hope thats okay - I don't have a EDD yet as my cycles are irregular - I know it's January though!

10w today, worrying a bit about not feeling so sick anymore but trying to keep positive. I'm always on my phone so can't copy the list but this is me-

janie everyone keeps telling me this will be a girl as heart rate is fast and I've been a lot sicker than with DS, but DH's family have literally no girls and as its the man that determines the sex I am 99% sure this will be a boy...I have looked at the scan for nub theory but can't tell!

pink thats brill, how exciting..hopefully won't be long till those first flutters...I was 15+6 with DS and it felt like someone running their finger tips up the outside of the inside of my belly if that make sense?! I keep thinking maybe I feel something but then I feel a similar sensation too high up so I'm not counting it as the first feelings yet.

Shell - I can't wait to feel it! I keep feeling 'something' but like you say, cant be sure. This ones heart rate is 180, so if heart rate is anything to go by its a girl! I have been having definite 'girl' feelings too. Also tried looking for nub and couldn't see anything as the cord was in the way! :)

pumpkin I was exactly the same. Throwing my guts up and sometimes weeing a bit too but no matter how miserable I was I was always happy in a way.

ibip both babies had heartbeats that were 170+ so we also thought they might have been two girls from the outset!

So tired today, counting down the minutes until DS's bedtime, until then Peppa Pig shall entertain him.

I somehow forgot I was pg this morning & was slightly freaked out when my tummy started punching me
So many Nov/Dec babies! Dec is a luffly time to have a baby, although Christmas means f-all when you've got a 4 day old!

Any nice plans for the weekend?

I most definitely will be finding out what flavour baby is. I am too much of a planner, I want to enjoy knitting and making stuff for baby, and while plain is cute, I would enjoy making gener appropriate stuff more.

On another random note- I am feeling very 'full' today. Anyone else had this? It cant be baby yet, but almost feel a bit of a waddle coming on when I am walking around!! Crazy!!
