How many weeks pregnant were you when you had your first baby?

1st baby, how many weeks (+days?) were you gone when the baby was born?
Was it spontaneous, induced or C-section with no labour?
If you don't mind saying, how would you describe your ethnic origin (some ethnic groups may go longer than others....)?

I was 41 + 3 and i was ment to be induced that night!
BUT......... The day before i was that scared of being induced i done something very silly!
I had tried the hot curry to start it off and the sex sooooo i had heard a story about Caster oil from the olden days so i mad Dp go to the chemist and buy me some!
I swollowed one big spoonful and started the hoovering nothing happened this was at 1pm on wednesday afternoon. then at about 3pm swollowed another big spoonful! nothing still happended so went to bed thinking i was off to hospital next day at 6pm to be induced (sooo scared)
But at 4am in morning i woke up and found myself in labour the only problem was this oil was good for helping you go for a number 2!!!!
So oh my god i had found myself sitting on the toilet for about an hour!

The good thing about it was i was sooooo glad i had swollowed this discusting oil cause i actually believe it worked !! (not sure i would do it again unless i was that desperate and scared)

Quite an experience if i must say so myself!!!
