Aoife You're welcome under my duvet (hmm, that sounds a bit weird, but never mind
). I can offer a flourless chocolate-lime cake and a spelt bread, if you're feeling peckish, too
Sorry to hear you're scar is giving you trouble, Zeuxippe. Is that worth mentioning to the midwife? I'm sure that all is fine, but just to give you peace of mind. How long ago was your c-section? I've heard that scarring can be an issue, but usually at later stages, when everything is getting stretched.
Had a very lazy morning, but am also not feeling too great, just generally bleurgh. But no symptoms... Even the few ones I had been getting have now disappeared. Hoping that this is due to me taking it easy. Unfortunately, I have to go out now to get some stuff from the shops - mainly firelighters! It appears that the birds, whose nest was removed by the chimneysweep on Monday, have returned and started to re-build already! So I need to light a fire to make it clear to them that this is a no-no... Just hope I won't get any cooked birds coming down the fireplace. Stupid animals.
Sun's finally out, so might tackle the garden a bit more later. Need distraction - a close friend has had her 2nd baby today by ELCS, and I have to admit that when I saw the photo, I burst into tears. It's so hard to think that by this time tomorrow, my hope for DC2 might have been completely crushed...
