i did a bit of research online today (couldn't phone as was in busy office all day), and it seems my hospital doesn't offer the NT test. to be honest i'm a bit baffled by all the info in the folders but i'm wondering if i should pay privately?!

janie they are a bit behind the times. We have been doing them nearly two years now. The blood test at 15 weeks is almost as accurate though - about 80% as opposed to 90%

Thanks for all the kind words peeps. Toastiegate was not that bad, it was over in a flash really. I think I left a few people questioning what they saw "did that chick just chuck up in the bin and then go back for her toastie?" I tell you what, if it turns out I am not pregnant on Friday I will be mightily pissed off after that public display.

Zeux- I have had 2 c-secs and one side of my scar has been sore in the past week.

I contacted the maternity services for my booking in appointment. I was really scared about doing this as last time I started bleeding the morning of my booking in. Just 8 days to go until I am further than I got last time. 16 days until scan!! I had a dream the other night that I had a little boy but we couldn't chose a name. Beats the dream I had a few nights earlier that I had a MC and passed a load of lumpy tissue-sorry TMI.

Aoife I nearly fainted in New Look. Crawled outside and threw up wotsits and diet coke all over the floor. No hope of getting to a bin. I was trying to hold it in while people walked past. Awful!

Hmm ibip I get coccyx pain but only since having DD, think it was to do with the labour. It's bloody awful when it happens but doesnt happen enough that I have done anything about it. I'm not sure why you'd be getting it now but doesn't sound sinister - just annoying. Actually maybe it's a ligament thing (as they go all soft) and you've pulled something?

anda you have got two in there, so 2 20 weeks babies might equal 1 40 weeker! It is more annoying when bloody strangers say 'ooh, are you sure it's not twins!' at least you can say actually I'm sure it is!

bump very good point. The next person that asks is going to get told I'm having triplets.

ibip I have that - think mine is sciatica. At the beginning of February I had a really bad fall and landed on my front (fun few days of hyper neuroticism!) and it started after that so I've never been sure if it was pg related or fall related. I get it about once a week now and it's agony. See how you get on. From 14 weeks you can see an osteopath who will 'realign' you (or something!)
