ibip I think with DD I had pretty much no symptoms at 7 weeks, maybe a bit tired, deffo no sickness. I had to have a scan at 10 weeks due to a bit of spotting and was one of those people who was amazed there was a baby in there. Then with the mc I 'knew' I was pg straight away, then As the weeks passed i started feeling really odd about it all, no sickness, was tired but do have a toddler! Then this time horrid nausea from about 6 - 8 weeks, so who knows what is going on! I really don't think we can judge anything by symptoms. Love scan countdown!

bod hope the spotting is nothing, as you know it often is xx

My nausea has got a bit better so that's worrying good!

Haha bump, it's so the way isn't it. I think I am finally shaking off my cold, and a few symptoms seem to be reappearing. So maybe is my body's way of dealing with one thing at a time?!

On the bad side, cold has turned into a cough, which is freaking me out as I now keep thinking Im going to cough the baby out. I know this is not possible, but I am officially mental.

Pink I said the exact same thing to DH last night!!!!! I was sure I was going to dislodge or cough up the wee bean!!! He actually looked at me and I think he was going to call the men in white coats to cone to get me!! But the coughing is so vigorous!!! And the sneezes come from my toes and could blow the roof off!

I am getting a nausea feeling when I get up the last few days. Not much more. My boobs felt tender this morning but nothing extreme. I have my 1st doc appointment today, gonna ask for a reassurance scan and maybe bloods (both my MCs were early suspected 'non viable' so this would make sense) but we will see! I could do a private one anyway if they say no. But they are quite nice in my GP and EPU.

eek i just got home and have a letter from the hospital with my scan appointment! 16th april, only 13 days and 21.5 hours to wait! so i will be 8+5 (i think). my lovely gp must have written a sympathetic letter phew! 8 weeks was my mc time, so i'm already nervous.

i seem to have more symptoms at night... i had sore boobs for the first time last night (yay!) and also had the dizzies before dinner.

Ooh Janie that's how far along I will be at my scan too! I'm so scared. Every day is becoming a massive struggle just to stay sane now. And work isn't helping, is quite stressful at the moment which is just making it worse.

Yay for more symptoms though Fab news. It is making you feel any better?

Feeling a little more sick today. Not sure if that is due to the sheet amount of snottyness at the moment, which makes me feel sick anyway! Sorry way tmi I know!!

Hi all, sorry to hear of all your colds. I just got over a nasty on last week and had the same thoughts as you! Bod how are you?

I'm having a low day and a panic. Having low down back pain on the right side almost in my bum . Am so scarred of miscarriage again :( my scan is 2mor and petrified :( my dr has signed me off work today for a few weeks as am not coping emotionally at the moment and my job is intense and stressful. Feeling very emotional right now. Need your support ladies DH is tries but doesn't really get it!

Oh lucky you poor thing. Erm, someone said left side pain may be wind? Or digestion issues- with out being too personal- how are your poops?
Sounds like you have a very good gp- and scan tomorrow. I know that it scary, but just think how much better you could feel tomorrow. Not long now. How far along are you?

My DH is useless. He actually said to me the other night, when I was stressing again and saying I can't do this, I can't wait another 2 weeks for scan, he just said - well, you will won't you. It's not like you are going to die!!!!
True, I'll give him that, but not what I needed to hear! Queue temper tantrum.

I just don't think men get it! One day is an age never mind one or two weeks. Pink I am 7 weeks this Thursday I think. I have had a little constipation but have been today I am so scarred I'm going to loose another one :(

Lucky cramps are so normal. I am sure it is just things moving around in there. But either way you will find out tomorrow, so not long to wait now. What time is your scan? Oh, I wish mine was tomorrow!
If it helps, I had lots of cramps around week 5, they calmed down around week 6 then picked up again the last few days in week 7. So I think anything goes really!

Lucky not sure I can say anything to help the panic but I agree with IBIP at least your scan is tomorrow so you don't have too long to wait. I know it seems an age away but my Drs aren't so scan generous and made me wait days last time. What time is your scan? Do you think it could be a stress thing? You sound pretty fraught as it is with work too. My fingers are crossed and for Bod too X

Lucky - I get low back pain anyway and it really played up when I was pregnant before, I was told it was muscles softening. I've had aches and pains, the Dr doesn't seem concerned by them.

Hi everyone, hope everyone is doing ok?
Nothing to report over here - still symptomless but I am now less than a week away from my early scan! It actually feels like I can count down to it now! I've even had a confirmation letter
And the sun is shining too!

My scan is 1.30 I think. I phoned the early pregnancy unit as I've had recurrent mc and they offered me one after a rubbish visit to a junior dr a few wks back xxx

Hi sorry nt much signal at work.
Panic over. Got a colleague to scan me first thing and even on top of tummy got a heart beat. Phew. I sort of knew would be but after two mcs I am a wreck. Anyway I guess I should count my blessing I am in the job I am in really. Thanks everyone.

Good luck with scan tommorow lucky. I won't say don't worry coz we all do. Midwife that did my scan before I got the heartbeat last week said I looked like 7 shades of shit before it!!!! Gods job she is a friend! And junior doc are shite but epaus are much better as they are staffed by lovely midwives and sonographers who deal with us neurotic lot day in day out.

Argh got myself utterly paranoid. Convinced I can see tiny, tiny microscopic almost pink 'spotting' last time I wiped. Could be dots in the loo paper or even my imagination but now I am completely freaking out and blaming myself for even going to the Dr and daring to say I was pregnant to her and organising a scan like I've jinxed everything!! I also have a pain I've had on and off (even when not pregnant) which is probs wind but on the verge of tears.

Thanks for the congratulations and welcome but I feel a real fraud as its not sunk in yet!
It's horrible we are all feeling so anxious and paranoid.
I am doing the constant knicker checking thing expecting to see blood!
I'm even too nervous to POAS incase it hasn't gone up to 2-3 weeks yet on the clearblue.
For now want to get to 8 weeks as that's when I MC last time.

Oh squizita hope you are ok . I know you don't need me to tell you that microscopic dot s don't count as bleeding. And we get all sorts of pains in early days. What did doc say? Are they organising an early scan for you ? X

Lucky less than 20 hours to wait (some of which you will hopefully be sleeping), it's really not that far away until you get some answers. Just do your best to stay calm, this journey we are all on is totally out of our hands, you yourself are not doing anything wrong, hold tight and try to stay positive. Big hug X

aw squiz i feel your pain. i've had brownie/pinky watery wipage since friday i think...panic stations but research seems to say it's entirely normal. i hope it is just mother nature being a meany. if it gets any worse then might be an idea to call the gp in the morning to see if they will refer you to the EPAU x

lucky i hope you are ok, could it maybe be your kidneys? if so it could be a urinary tract infection. i'm no doctor but have had one before and i think it might have been sore there. the doctors tomorrow will maybe do a urine test to check for you. i hope it isn't anything to worry about. i've been having tweaky cramps for the last couple of weeks... fx for you tomorrow, let us know how you get on x

trying to sort out our money situation tonight....DH is really careless with money and i'm trying to get it sorted so we can be comfortable if the pg works out and a baby comes along. should have done this years ago. it's very difficult to get him to listen though which is worrying me... we have a joint account but don't use it, but i think we need to start. HELP!

Aaaggghhh squiz it's awful isn't it and nothing is gonna convince you otherwise until some mega symptom hits you...we've all been there, just gotta ride it out I'm afraid
