Bella23 · 04/07/2006 10:03

WOO HOO - congrats Milosmum, great news xx

Still hot here and next door are having loads of work done so too noisy to have the windows open whilst I am working - its a conspiracy I tell you !!

Praying for rain.............

Munz · 04/07/2006 15:31

ok then girls here goes! (hopefully! lol)

MM - big congrats again hon, i'm soo pleased for you.

Bella - lol @ the conspiracy! lol. it's too hot, I really don't envy you ladys who are due during the summer months. not long till ur materniyt leave anyhow.

MM&B - ooh and u to for maternity leave, I was sooo excited to go on mine - and remebr girls Joey turned up a week after mine started so get those bags packed ready! lol. with the omega tablets did u get those from the herb shop? ((hugs)) with your AND. i'm still having down days so was thinking about taking them, if you recommend there good.

rom - how u doing honney? we've had our thunderstorm for today but it's still muggy, my mates PG as well (33 weeks) and was moaning baout the heat - I was like open the windows then! lol (some women! lol) how r u coping keeping Romi cool? we've been putting joey asleep in his nappy only and a thin sheet over him, althou last night he had a vest on as well, but we've brought him a fan for his room - I tell u his room's the coolest in the house! lol.

friz - I didn't realise u were an yorkshire lass! i'm soo proud of neve for a her first tooth - god the boy's behind then! lol. that open he cut seem's to have gone back in again! lol. althou I can feel the two front ones now right under the skin bout to break thru. we've tried a little porrige on the weaning but nothing more. don't think i'll give it to him thou - have u seen the suger in those things? and it didn't help him sleep any better than normal so i'll hold off till after the move and then concentrate properly. I can't wait to try out the butternut squash and that. must get more ice cube trays actually! lol.

where is handbag? i'm assuming she's had her bundle? I can't keep track! lol.

nemo - how's hannah doing now? those retched infections are horrid things. ((hugs)) hope your both getting some rest, and little adam's being good for his mummy.

well our end, we've just handed in all the papers for the move, althou the car's now decided to pack up - well not completely the manifold's got a huge crack in it apparently. blasted thing. so all our money for moving will be going on that now instead as the garage won't right it off without doing more investigation work (speedo also don't work) which will cost us yet more money on the plus thou we've been scrubbing cleaning (mainly me) DH has been working non stop for the last 2 weeks and I was hoping he'd have tomorrow/thursday off - had to put my foot down in the end and say enoughs enough I cna'ty do everyhting on my own and at this rate i'll be on AD@s by the w/e (last week was a v bleak week for me) so he got them off but then the right ppl weren't told so now it looks liek he won't do - I give up I can't wait to leave this bloody regt. still Joeys' finally got his sleeping sorted back out again. bed tiem's gone back to 9.15 instead of 8.15 as DH has been on lates working till 8.15 so he has a quick hour with daddy then bed, but at least (touch wood) he's only been waking up once during the night at 3/4 am then for the past 3 days DH's alarm has gone off to wake us up and at about 6.45 it's woken Joey up so DH has been carrying him into me and we have another 45 mins and up for 7.30 so mustn't grumble on that front - don't think i'd have coped much longer with his up ever 1.5 hours thing. the napping in the cot is going tramendously well now (thanks Rom perseverance) touch wood again, he has his feed has his play time then asleep after 1.5 hours for approx 1.5 hours again so we're more or less back to normal, and I have my happy boy back/mummy's not as drained/tired. bless him he's falling asleep as his dummy goes in after his head's on the matress, which is good as he's not falling asleep on us any more.

ooh also first AF arrived yesterday - I was so excited and actually feel tonnes better, so maybe all the hormones were building up? who knows. anyhow best get and have a nice quite cuppa and 5 mintues to play with the dogs.

Munz · 04/07/2006 15:32

(ooh sorry bit of a mamouth post)

milosmum · 04/07/2006 17:53

thanks to you all for the happy thoughts!!! i wont go away again!!!!

romilly · 04/07/2006 19:45

u better not mm! we want to hear all your news. i am doing great thanks, could do with a bit more sleep of course....lol, but apart from that little romi is a total bundle of joy and i am completely enraptured with motherhood.

munz - what a pain in the ass about the car - typical! glad joey is giving you a break on the 1.5 hour sleep thing. romi had a good night too last night, same thing - one wake up at 3am and then 7am. BIG improvement from last week. never thought i would be so grateful for a four hour stint of sleep, lol...

Munz · 05/07/2006 09:42

lol init just rom - althou I confess i'm goign aslepe at 10pm at the mo (big improvement form my 9pm thou so we're getting there) 10pm to 4am can't compalin bout that - althou last night joey decided to throw a midnight one in and 5.30 so wasn't as impressed with that one. (althou he did miss his 9pm feed (was at 8 instead so can't really complain esp as he's been doing so well with his napping.)

Frizbe · 05/07/2006 23:16

argh mines not taken her usual ammt of milk just now......bet I get a night wake up thrown in! so what am I doing on here? waiting for her to settle, she's still in our room!
Munz, glad to see your getting back on form, not long till the move now, sorry to hear about the car, mine also cost us yesterday, 135 squid for a new exhaust.....and we've only had it since Jan
Rom, how's London in the heat??
Hi to everyone else!

HandbagAddiction · 07/07/2006 14:57

Hello all! sorry to have been away for so long, but we've been having an up and down time and it's been difficult to try and get the time to post anything! Anyway - life is generally good and Amy is doing well. She did have a tongue-tie which was making feeding a bit difficult and painful for me, but we had that snipped last week and it's made a big difference. She's still proving difficult to settle during the day - does everything possible to resist sleep, so we've resorted to dummies which have worked a treat. Nights are good though and after feeding her last thing at 10pm - I'm not getting woken up until 5am - so I'm not complaining. Can't believe Amy is nearly 4 weeks old already though - how time flies.

DD1 continues to be delighted with her little sister which is great news and I've had no episodes of jealousy at all yet - long may it continue!

I on the other hand have not been so good, having succumbed to a bout of shingles which has been incredibly painful. Seems to be settling down though now which is good but it has meant that I've felt very wiped out.

Anyway - haven't had the chance to cathc up with everyone's news, but will make an effort to do that now.

Hope everyone is OK though. Have a good weekend all.

DebbsyandBibby · 07/07/2006 18:15

scan day tuesday yipee

Frizbe · 07/07/2006 21:36

Debsey good luck for Tuesday
Handbag, we have tongue tie too, but they've not snipped it as wasn't getting in the way of feeding, they've opted to leave it to resolve its self (ouch)
Have a great weekend all!
