Its agony. Every ten to fifteen minutes my lower abdomen and back become so severely painful it makes me loose my breath and want to cry.
I don't know if it's real. I'd had a tough time of it today (another thread) and have been bouncing on my ball, but now I'm really hurting and I don't know if this is it?
I just want to sleep but just as I get settled ur starts again.

I wish just got a real constant stabby period type cramps that are horrendous. I can't even go to the loo because of positioning.

It doesn't sound like it's going to be two weeks. :)

Keep eating - you'll want the energy. I ate figs between contractions as I wanted to make sure I didn't get bunged up. Drink lots of water too.

Pickles it really sucks, I so feel for you! 38 plus 3 over here and been thinking things were kicking off for days now......

Only advice I can think of at this stage: Try and do something nice for yourself to get you out of your head for a bit (I am watching Mr. Bean videos :) )

And have a small glass of wine to relax you (it's fine, honestly.)

Well personally I went 40 +14!
But it doesnt sound like you have long to wait!
If your waters have gone, then things should kick in fairly quickly, and the period type cramps sound VERY positive. {{hug}}

definitely eat, drink and have a wine! (it was Port that kept me going!)

What can I do to ease contraction pain? Im about 9 minutes apart and even inbetween I can't get comfortable. Its really painful and im getting quite upset... Mum isn't much help as she's actually my SM and never experienced it.
I just want to lie and go to sleep. There are tears flowing because I'm just not getting any closer together since half one, and it's prob all going to stop again soon.

Do you have a Tens machine? I found it v. useful in the early stages.

Other than that: breathing, bath, distraction (e.g. movie).
