Can I just have a moan please? (feel free to join in)
Am due mid Sept (32 weeks) and hospital keep giving me extra scans only to tell me again that my baby is 'quite large' The consultant estimated 7.5lbs already this week.
The thing is they kept telling me that about DS1 a couple of years back and frankly I don't really know what I am supposed to do about it!
Am bloody huge already and feel like crap as I've had a cold for the last month which DH has now come down with (but obvs man flu is so much worse poor thing!).
Can't sleep at night due to blocked nose and coughing and to top it off have mild SPD - physio says to avoid walking and running - easier said than done with an active 2 year old to look after.
Sad FFS!

Today is horrid. I keep being sick :(

33+2 - can't wait for this pregnancy to be over and to be holding a healthy baby :)

milk · 21/08/2012 10:06

Today I am 34 weeks- OMG it can not end soon enough!!!

I keep waking up in the middle of the night in screaming agony! Basically the baby decides at night to lie on my sciatic nerve so I wake up with my legs in absolute agony! So I walk around all day with my legs feeling like planks of wood.

And don't get me started on this constant heart burn that makes me want to be constantly sick!

And I am the size of a house, so everyone keeps coming up to me with comments like "you must be due any day" Angry I have another 6 weeks!!!

Notgrownupinmyhead · 21/08/2012 10:28

Tell them to foxtrot oscar. Ive really been suffering with hb too, my throat is sore and its making me cough. My pelvis at the front and back i can feel move when i try and roll over at night and you hurt my ribs.

2.5 weeks to go and the car got taken off us by the garage for being dangerous. You just know labour will happen now Confused

Milk, i hope you're ok apart from that?!

milk · 22/08/2012 06:31

And another symptom... memory loss!!! I read your post yesterday Notgrownupinmyhead and then totally forgot about it :(

I am all right apart from that :) DH and DS (17mo) are both treating me very nicely :)

2.5 weeks to go... I am sooooo envious!!!

Yesterday a lady who worked in Next said to me "If your bump goes any lower, that baby is going to fall out" Angry I either have to grow a tougher skin or start wearing ear plugs :)

PurplePidjin · 22/08/2012 07:20

I don't have much to moan about yet, but marking my place for later on! (25+5)

Lovely retired nurse MIL prescribed ice cream for my heart burn. It works and dp can't raise an eyebrow at me eating junk cos it was his mum who suggested it! The almond choc ice type from Lidl are particularly effective ime :o

aamia · 22/08/2012 08:22

I'm joining in lol. 37 weeks... For the last week and a half have had loads of braxton hicks esp at night, been restless, sick feeling, bad leg cramps at night, baby so big now that I can't roll over/get up easily or it feels like I'm being punched in the stomach by an enormous bowling ball. Can't reach the floor comfortably, legs feel like they have no energy if I try to walk up even the smallest hill. Can't sit in a normal chair without legs up or they swell so much my shoes won't fit. Oh, and apparently he hasn't grown for weeks according to my fundal height thing - just to worry me!

So yeah - totally ready for baby to come.

Notgrownupinmyhead · 22/08/2012 09:06

I got Dh to take a pic of the bump last night. I look like a frog. Grin

Ive woke today and my back is really hurting. My fanny bone is too and im scared to move.

Memory loss? Yep. What did I go in the kitchen for? Then puts random things in the fridge.

Does anyone feel pmt ish?

Dreading the walk to the MW in a bit.

Ill have to buy a cream cake in the way back.

Wish we had a Lidl near, there scream and food in general is mmmmmm.

MrsHelsBels74 · 22/08/2012 09:09

35 weeks here, have a really achey pelvis, bored of throwing up, not sleeping, indigestion, back ache.

I'm sure I wasn't this decrepit with number 1.

I nearly shouted at husband this morning, I stood up & got the usual stabbing pain in my pelvis, pulled a face & my husband mocked me...

milk · 22/08/2012 09:12

aamia - I am sorry to hear you are suffering :( Do you have any other DC? If not, spend your days lying on the sofa with your legs up watching DVD boxsets Grin That is what I did with DC1. I am now pregnant with DC2 and DS1 is hogging the TV with Cbeebies :(

Notgrownupinmyhead - "Does anyone feel pmt ish?"- Physical or emotional symptoms or both?

milk · 22/08/2012 09:14

MrsHelsBels74 Your husband mocked you while you were in pain and you almost shouted at him?!? Shock My DH would have gotten a slap round the face!!!

Maybe you are more decrepit this time round as you have to care for yourself and DC1.

I am 34+1. Bring on week 40!!!

Orenishii · 22/08/2012 09:18

Ooooh let me join in! :)

32 weeks:

Getting that horrible stretchy pain in my - I don't even know what! Inside of the pelvis area, so not ligaments but more....inside? When the baby kicks, they seem to get me there and it hurts like a MOFO!

Sleeping on my left side but waking up in agony with my left hip and leg after lying on it all night.

Extremely irritable but also quite anxious, about a lot of things. Landlady made me cry, I keep thinking we'll have to move and get rid of my beloved cat - the original PFB in my life Wink

Hot, hot, sweaty, sweaty, hot, hot, sick, sick, hot, sweaty

Can't catch my breath because the baby is so high up right now

I know I'll be one of those contrary types who bemoans missing my bump when the baby is born, and this pregnancy has not been hard by a long shot, but right now I feel very hot, very sick, very teary, and very grumpy!

Notgrownupinmyhead · 22/08/2012 09:52

Oren your first couple of paragraphs sound like me!

Does the underboob sweat smell a bit err salt and vinegary?

Both milk. But the mood swings and shoutyness more. Blush

Im spending what seems to be all da reffing the boys. Roll on school!!

Anyone in Manchester?

ArtyJennie · 22/08/2012 10:23

Due date today!!! Still no baby. Feels like its never gonna happen. Can't sleep, indigestion, feel sick. Struggling to move. Well jel of all the people who have their babies early! This last bit just gets harder and harder (still not as bad as when I had hyperemisis tho)

milk · 22/08/2012 10:42

Notgrownupinmyhead OMG I hate the underboob sweat :( and don't get me started on my PMT insane mood swings... my poor DH just runs away :(

ArtyJennie Congratulations on reaching 40 weeks Grin I hope your baby comes soon!

I have another 41 days to go :(

Notgrownupinmyhead · 22/08/2012 12:05

Milk, i make dh smell it. Grin he cant run from me cos hes got a right bad back and im mean Grin

Arty, im working on the eviction process as i went over with the others and dont want this one too!

MrsHelsBels74 · 22/08/2012 20:37

I'm so uncomfortable this evening. Baby is sticking all manner of body parts out, plus (sorry if TMI) I'm constipated so in pain from that too & keep throwing up. i honestly could sit & cry.

Not felt so much kicking as much today as just random lumps appearing & disappearing, can anyone reassure me this is normal?

milk · 23/08/2012 09:40

MrsHelsBels74 Perhaps as it has less room to move? I don't think its anything to panic about but I'd call up a midwife just to make sure as I am not medically trained.

As for me... no matter what I did, I could not stop crying last night :( DH thinks I've lost the plot and I think so too :(

34+2

MrsHelsBels74 · 23/08/2012 10:00

Milk I've had times like that. I sobbed at the midwife last week for no apparent reason.

Am seeing the doctor today as still being horribly sick. Bump was partying last night though so think all is well there.

Notgrownupinmyhead · 25/08/2012 08:36

DH please stop fking snoring and breathing in my face when you are asleep please. DS2 you are 1 in October please stop waking to be fed. DS1 please go to sleep before 11pm before I acquire Chloroform from somewhere.

That is all.

For now.

milk · 30/08/2012 17:09

I need a very very long moan!

I am 35+2. My bump has dropped and is so massive so walking is near impossible :( Heart burn, pregnancy acne, all over aching muscles, baby keeps kicking my ribs. I feel very depressed as I can't do anything and I'm usually quite an active person :(

And I still have 33 days to go!!! :(

Notgrownupinmyhead · 30/08/2012 21:35

Ive still got horrific hb too. Its making me cough and get sick in my throat a bit.

My pelvis is clicking all over the place too.

Will some ice cream make you feel better? You can share mine if you want?

milk · 31/08/2012 07:21

Thank you Notgrownupinmyhead :)

I had the best dream last night that I only had 1 week to go... then I woke up and remembered I had 4 weeks :'( I am seeing my consultant today, he better have only good news!!! Angry

milk · 31/08/2012 21:18

I saw my consultant... all is good Grin Finally things seem to be looking up Grin Baby's head is engaged and ready to go Grin I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel... and I hope the baby will too soon :P

Notgrownupinmyhead · 01/09/2012 10:13

Excellent! Let us all commence baby eviction!!!!

milk · 01/09/2012 14:46

Well I have 31 days... but if the baby comes early (fingers crossed) it could be just 24 days Grin I'm off to pray!!!
