Anyone fancy a moan?

Can I just have a moan please? (feel free to join in)
Am due mid Sept (32 weeks) and hospital keep giving me extra scans only to tell me again that my baby is 'quite large' The consultant estimated 7.5lbs already this week.
The thing is they kept telling me that about DS1 a couple of years back and frankly I don't really know what I am supposed to do about it!
Am bloody huge already and feel like crap as I've had a cold for the last month which DH has now come down with (but obvs man flu is so much worse poor thing!).
Can't sleep at night due to blocked nose and coughing and to top it off have mild SPD - physio says to avoid walking and running - easier said than done with an active 2 year old to look after.
Sad FFS!

Im still full of snot and feeling shite but still have to bloody do everything! Took a side view pic last night and i have my own post code. I didnt think i was that big!

Really cba. Spent almost 3 hours trying to get ds2 to sleep and hes still screaming. Somehow i think dropping a nap in the day was the wrong thing to do.

Pickles77 · 24/07/2012 21:14

Is anyone else just so hot?
It's gross I'm constantly sweating. I can't sleep properly without a duvet either so Im dreading it tonight Sad
Any tips?

AKMD · 24/07/2012 21:30

Pickles wash your feet, it will cool you right down. Full a hot water bottle with cold water and crushed ice and take to bed with you.

WillowTheWitch · 24/07/2012 21:34

Yes pickles !! Haven't had a decent body temperature since march !! Grin

Pickles77 · 24/07/2012 21:39

Ahhh relief Grin

newby2 · 25/07/2012 12:24

Bailey, if I feel this shite at 18 weeks with one on board, MASSIVE respect for the 3 on board.

Pickles hear you loud and clear. Luckily have a cool house otherwise would be moaning at every-one.

My main moan is feeling overall crap. 2nd baby and working on feet so many hours. I'm getting really fed up with seeing wonderfully blooming pregnant women around who don't work- wondering what on earth Im doing!!

Just about to go to work now. If any-one else says oooohhh you look like you're expecting twins already I'll deck them. Rant over.

victoriassponge · 31/07/2012 13:36

Can't believe I'm so big and uncomfortable already and still have 7 weeks left!

@newby: EVERY day someone makes stupid comments about my size as well. It does quite literally make me want to punch them - have developed a look which seems to shut them up.

Just wish I could SLEEP for more than an hour and a half without having to lie down / sit up / pee / blow my nose / have a coughing fit...

Ahhhh.. that's better. Thanks for listening :)

Batter them. Ive had this cold over a week now and a headache fir 2 days. Really cba and the house is a shit tip. Non of us are dressed and i cant wait til September. Grr fucking rah.

Bug hugs to you triplet girl!!

opalescent · 31/07/2012 17:46

Oohh I want to moan!! My boobs are huuuuge and extremely sore and itchy, and are so incongruous on my frame, as I'm only 5ft tall. They're probably a GG now, and I'm fed up of them, they make me so uncomfortableAngry
And all my thoughtful friends say 'god, your boobs are absolutely MASSIVE' every single time I see them. Which is fucking grating. And since I'm only 21 weeks they're probably going to get bigger. Which I cannot even imagine Sad

Doraemon · 31/07/2012 18:04

I'd love a moan and I'm only 8 or 9 weeks (depends if you ask me or midwife). Am knackered and constantly vaguely nauseous, DH is out for drinks after week so I get to do bedtime on my own again for DS1 and 2. Brain seems to have migrated already and I have no desire to do anything other than lie on sofa and if DS1 (ASD) asks me one more question about the b**y Olympics I will scream..... And it's COLD!

lancaster004 · 31/07/2012 18:44

Yep I love a moan too. Went to a wedding at the weekend and wore some nice heels to ceremony. (wedges). In the evening tried to put flats back on and my feet were the size of a house. Just couldn't get them on. Had to walk home in my heels.
Also getting lots of chafing at top of legs, horrendous heartburn, constantly feeling I need loo.
Babies movements ,though reassurring, are quite uncomfortable.
Also really worried about my planned csection in 7 weeks.
Crazy as I have had 2 emergency ones before.

Splinters · 31/07/2012 21:07

Yes yes can I join in. 10 weeks, feeling like shit, been feeling like shit for over a month, hate all food, hardly getting any work done, am useless around the house but feel horrible watching dh so kindly doing it all..

...worrying ridiculously about scan next week, about mmcs, about bloody GP last week saying "fingers crossed for the next few weeks because you know miscarriage at this stage is very common don't you?" I bloody did know but had been managing to put it to the back of my mind until then. Not any more.

Baaaaaaaah

AKMD · 31/07/2012 21:19

Second scan was lovely. We took DS and he joined in with running and wiggling to get the baby to move :o It didn't work but it was fun anyway. It's still not something I'd do again in a future pregnancy though.

LeighMummy · 31/07/2012 21:23

I'll join in this one :) first post actually, how funny to be a moan! I'm 22 weeks and signed off work with a broken rib (done by coughing so hard from a particularly bad cold so beware all u poorly ones...)
This was my facebook status today: not normally one for moany statuses but proper over being an invalid now.Just want to be able to do stuff without being in pain, stuff like sitting up,turning a tap off, carrying a cup of tea, laughing, coughing, sitting in a car for longer than 2 mins. Can't even console myself with fun in the sun this week...alternative suggestions please people (so I don't descend into conplete donut devouring self pity)
Not surprisingly I got ZERO responses OR sympathy from anybody (no one likes a moaner) lol glad to know I'm not the only one suffering tho...x

AKMD · 31/07/2012 21:30

Ouch. I cracked a rib from coughing a couple of years ago and it was agony, especially as the cough didn't magically go away!

Scarredbutnotbroken · 31/07/2012 21:41

Feeling really crappy today Sad

Notgrownupinmyhead · 31/07/2012 21:49

Ha ha ive just moved back to Manchester from Leigh!

Glad you had a better scan this time AK Grin

LeighMummy · 31/07/2012 22:11

Random! Leigh, essex yeah? Yeah its a proper pain isnt it AKMD? Just hoping its healed before I have to start the whole labour malarky... aargh! What's up scaredbutnotbroken? x

victoriassponge · 06/08/2012 21:52

I am SO HUGE... Baby seems to think he's competing for the tiny olympics Torch in there jumping up and down on my bladder... Can't get comfy due to SPD.... Can't DO anything due to SPD...can't sleep... have banished poor DH from the bed so he can get some sleep and not listen to me grumbling all night...DS1 does not understand that I'm not supposed to be picking him up all the time... not due for SIX WEEKS...please don't be late baby please!

Notgrownupinmyhead · 07/08/2012 10:48

Im now not able to breathe properly as hes up in my ribs. Feel sick all the time and cba to shift off the sofa.

Grumble, moan, grr, feck

Montypig · 07/08/2012 11:02

Mine is coming next thursday (c section) but is keeping me awake all night - FFS i know he is going to keep me awake once he is here - does he have to do a warm up ??? Ds is also in a foul mood and has been for weeks - aghhhhh

ASAPWW · 07/08/2012 11:59

what an excellent thread! feel so much better reading this, sorry to revel in everyone's misery but glad I'm not the only one who thinks pregnancy is tough! this is the second, and last time for me, that gives me great comfort!

preggofabulous · 07/08/2012 13:15

i honestly dont understand how anyone does this more than once! Right now im stuck in work with a load of boring stuff to do, feeling all squished like i have no room in my body, you know, for organs, food and such like. kind of feel like my body has been hijacked, and then feel guilty for thinking things like that.

Also finding everyone around me very irritating and would really like to go and lie down somewhere for the next few months!

victoriassponge · 09/08/2012 21:56

@ notgrownupinmyhead: re: primrose oil...never understand how you are supposed to reach with a bloody great bump in the way! Confused

@Leighmummy: cracked rib sounds horrible - really not fair! Hope you feel better soon Thanks
