Can I just have a moan please? (feel free to join in)
Am due mid Sept (32 weeks) and hospital keep giving me extra scans only to tell me again that my baby is 'quite large' The consultant estimated 7.5lbs already this week.
The thing is they kept telling me that about DS1 a couple of years back and frankly I don't really know what I am supposed to do about it!
Am bloody huge already and feel like crap as I've had a cold for the last month which DH has now come down with (but obvs man flu is so much worse poor thing!).
Can't sleep at night due to blocked nose and coughing and to top it off have mild SPD - physio says to avoid walking and running - easier said than done with an active 2 year old to look after.
Sad FFS!

33 weeks here, and eating loads n loads, people stating to stare lol

Also the constant rib kicking, punching and general beating up I'm receiving from the inside (which in itself is pretty freaky) really bloody hurts and as much as movement is a good thing it's starting to be a bit hateful..

Thumbwitch · 21/07/2012 15:50

I'll join - 28w:
got another round of stuff to do this week (growth scan, glucose tolerance test, bloods);
started getting the searing hip pains in bed at night, causing sleep ishoos;
got pain in the SP area, could potentially lead to SPD but trying very hard to stop it with regular osteopathy, still walking like an 80yo whenever I get up though;
feel the size of a house already (much larger than with DS);
being assaulted from within;
usually got pretty bad constipation but it seems the prune juice over the last few days has finally taken effect and I feel very bloaty, uncomfortable and squitty Blush;
still fretting over the threat of being induced at 38w just because of my age Hmm but hoping that I can negotiate nearer the time although I might not want to by then!
running out of places to stick the clexane in on a daily basis cos I keep bruising and it fecking hurts.

I don't really enjoy being pg. Blush

@3bears - you sound very much like I feel at the moment!

@shoulldIbe - throwing up throughout pregnancy is so bloody unfair. Think I would be on the floor screaming too. I found that chocolate brioche from the supermarket stayed down when nothing else would for me - might be worth a try? Oh and just juice ice lollies are very refreshing and make you feel like you are eating some vitamins.

@baileyslover - wow triplets!! can't even imagine how tired you must be. Hats off to you Smile

My moan for the day is that I can't breath at all and still unable to sleep. Also really sick of having to cancel activities we had planned with friends as feeling too antisocial to be any fun Sad
Roll on September...

@AKMD - sounds like a horrible scan! Agree they should give you your money back!

Can I just moan about the staring? Why dies being pg give people free rein to gawp openly at you as if they have never seen a gestating woman before? Why?

mummypud · 21/07/2012 18:28

12 weeks .... Gacky throat and thirsty ... Still nauseous but starving .. Shaterrd and hormonal yet horny as hell ... Oh and worrying about 12 week scan .. Hoping child one and two go to bed early so i can have a good sob .

Hermionewastherealhero · 21/07/2012 18:30

I'm about to see some of OH's friends that I hven't seen for mints, 31 weeks now- soooooooo looking forward to the comments and rubbish about my bump

mrsdaisaku · 21/07/2012 18:52

I want to join too, 17 weeks with twins and been ondansetron for hyperemesis. Causes THE worst constipation ever... Finally had to take something quite strong to get things moving. All day yesterday with chronic gripey pains, had to take the day off work just so I could be near a toilet and then the bloody gripey pains lasted most of the night.... Tired and grumpy today and wishing I didn't have to take the blasted tablets anymore. But its either vomit 4-5 times a day or spend a couple of days like this every other week. :( Why can't pregnancy be like in the movies??

Goldrill · 21/07/2012 19:14

28 weeks and symptom-free apart from a bit of mild backache, so I feel I shouldn't moan.... but anyway!

I have too many hormones and am fed up with being tired and house-sized. I have a job which is really strenuous for 3 months of the year - unfortunately this is July, August and September and I have just started doing the difficult bit and need a full day of sleep to recover from every day I'm out and about. It's my choice - I could point-blank refuse and no-one could do anything...but it's also my research programme which no-one else really gives a toss about, and if I bail out I will be cutting off my nose to spite my face. So I will just get on with it and complain bitterly at every opportunity!

AKMD · 21/07/2012 21:58

The manager of the scanning placed called me today and they're rescanning me for free next week. If they're still rubbish I'll name and shame and post reviews on every site I can find. I've had private scans before with other clinics and they've been lovely.

AKMD · 21/07/2012 22:00

baileyslover that is very unfair. No one can trump a woman expecting triplets in the grumble stakes! :o

I don't mind people gawping, I just wish I had put a big more effort into losing the mummy tummy from having DS so that it would be obvious that I'm pg and not just wobbly!

Thumbwitch · 21/07/2012 23:55

That's decent of them AKMD - hope the next scan is a better one. :)

Signet2012 · 22/07/2012 00:23

34 weeks and I'm one of three close friends and family. I am not impressed that baby signet does not move my stomach so I can see her, nor kick my stomach so DP can feel her. Instead she boots me in my cervix and my bum hole!! Which is just lovely. Grin

And I'm shitting myself about labour and have no idea what to expect !

Notgrownupinmyhead · 22/07/2012 07:36

Im going to have another moan.

DH stop snoring so i can get some sleep.
I shouldnt have to sleep in ds1 bed to get away from you. I now feel worse. Thanks. Grrr.

seabuckthorn · 22/07/2012 07:46

Can I moan please?
23 weeks and I'm up with my 2 DC- under 3 at 6am nearly every morning, they sometimes let me lie in until 6:30!
I'm exhausted and not getting enough sleep is making my morning sickness return Sad
I want DP to make me pancakes and coffee and then to go back to bed!
The reality will be toast, cereal everything and a cup of decaf tea

victoriassponge · 22/07/2012 08:59

Grin @ Signet - sounds like she's ready to come out! Don't be scared you'll be fine. The jeyrani / gentle birth method hypno-birthing cd is VERY reassuring (doesn't mention pain!) if you are feeling the fear and don't mind a bit of hippy dippyness. Good luck!

Can I join in? 29wks and I'm getting really fat Sad Didn't manage to shift that last half stone after DS (I blame bf!), bump enormous this time compared to last, and my knickers are struggling to contain my arse. Might actually have to concede defeat and buy fat pants Sad Losing this weight is going to be a total and utter nightmare. Damn you, chocolate!

Signet2012 · 22/07/2012 11:37

I'll look into it a few people have mentioned hypno stuff it's worth a shot

I'd also like to add to my moan 6 wee's. 6 bloody wee's between 2am and 7am!!!

Ffs!!

Thumbwitch · 22/07/2012 12:12

I loved doing hypnobirthing last time - I've still got the CD that the hypnobirthing woman gave me, it was great to fall asleep to! Grin I can't say it particularly reduced the pain of labour but it certainly allowed me to "just go with the flow" and let my bod do its thing without interference - seemed to go ok!

I'll be starting on the raspberry leaf tea/capsules at about 32w; they seemed to help with uterine tone last time as well (half an hour stage 2 labour) and even if they didn't, they can't hurt.

Really really sick of the hip pain. Soon it will be waking every 1.5h, needing a wee every time I turn over, and I'll be knackered. Sooo not looking forward to that stage again :(

Notgrownupinmyhead · 22/07/2012 14:44

Ive just looked at my calendar and am a week behind what i thought i was! Grr! Moan rant moan.

Hermionewastherealhero · 22/07/2012 21:22

Just seen pics of myself from last night, why don't I look like myself?!?! My face looks strange - glum glum

victoriassponge · 24/07/2012 20:28

Jeeesuzzz! just did not know WHAT to do with myself today. Still can't f**king breathe - when is this cold going to go?? Am in week five of my mucus fest now... at 32 weeks pg with the biggest baby in the WORLD jumping on my bladder and DS1 wanting to be entertained. If another bloody person tells me that 8 weeks "isn't long to go now" am going to PUNCH them! Angry

WillowTheWitch · 24/07/2012 20:43

Meeeeee !!!

26wks with dc2 and having the worst pregnancy ever !!

Hip pain and leg cramps waking me almost every night
I am absolutely massive ! But as I had tummy fat before pg it's still jiggly and most of my clothes just make me look like the fattest fatty there has ever been ! It's not even round and hard yet despite it being huge .
All my pants are rolling down and chafing. I need to find big gigantic mat pants to come right over my bump.
And my employers could not be leas sympathetic . Despite the fact my job is quite stressful and manual.

WillowTheWitch · 24/07/2012 20:48

Triplets Bailey ?!! Wow !! Are you prepared ?Grin

AK so glad you are getting rescanned that sounds awful Sad hope your next one makes up for it .
